It reminds me of Worcester. But it could be Austria or Germany. In great condition, no chips or cracks, afew light rub marks on the ecru background that I believe would polish out(picture 10) Measures 13.25" tall. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor is no longer perfect as the day it was made. Antique Nippon Royal Kinran Ewer Porcelain Magenta Roses Gold Bead Moriage
This beauty is priced to sell. A real find! For your consideration is this beautiful antique Nippon Royal Kinran Pitcher. The shape of this pitcher is quite unusual, I cannot find another listed anywhere close to this design. The pitcher has an all over magenta/ white floral design. I believe the flowers are roses, but I am not sure. The entire pitcher is covered in gold beading moriage surronding the flowers. The gold on the bottom edge(on the rim under the gold beading) of the pitcher is faded due to how old this piece is. At the sale where I acquired this piece, I was told the piece belonged to their grandparents, and is quite old. I do not have an exact age for this piece. The mark on the bottom is very light, however; the Royal Kinran name and Nippon, and Mark is still readable. The piece is free of chips or cracks. Featured here is a BEAUTIFUL ART NOUVEAU ERA FLATBACK JUG/EWER IN BLUSH IVORY PORCELAIN WITH HANDPAINTED AND GILDEDFLOWERS. IT IS HALLMARK/STAMP DATED 1888. The letter"Z" underneath the Worcester hallmark specifically dates it to 1888. This jug stands 7" tall and is in perfect condition. The gold wash handle shows areas of red reflecting from underneath but I am sure it was made in that manner because it is consistent at various areas of the handle that would not be worn from use. I truly believe this is the closest to mint condition that you can find anywhere. This came from an old Pennsylvania farmhouse and was in the china closet forever I was told. EXQUISITE c1840-1860 GOTHIC ENGLISH SALT GLAZED PORCELAIN PITCHER/EWER Presented is a very fine English salt glazed porcelain pitcher. This piece dates to circa 1840-1860. The pitcher is very ornate and very Gothic in style. The exterior features figures of saints or clerics standing in arched alcoves. The top of the handle has two faces of stately bearded men. One facing in either direction. The whole piece is very reminiscent of a cathedral, and may even be modeled on the design a specific cathedral. The overall effect is as though a cathedral had been wrapped around the exterior of the pitcher. The interior of the piece is done in a high glaze, and is completely clean and useable. This piece is in near perfect condition. As one of the photos shows. There is a slight discoloration on one of the faces on the handle. This is not to be considered ... morea flaw, as this is original to the manufacture of the piece, a result of slight impurities reacting when fired in a kiln. Then in 1877 he bought the porcelain factory that had been established by Jouhanneaud and Dubois in Rue du Petit-Tour(Limoges) And which had been bought in 1867 by the Utzschneider Company of Saurregemines and run by Leopold Dubois. This enlarged company produced a wide range of wares, selling a lot of whiteware and also continuing decoration. Guerin's sons William and Andre joined the company in 1903. In 1911 W. Guerin& Cie merged with the nearby Pouyat factory. Buying 3/4 of Pouyat; the new firm became Guerin& Cie. Possibly both company marks were continued. WWI greatly decreased output. This ewer is marked with an incised number of 817 with 28 under it. And in black a# 1622? the 16,the third# I think is 2(see pictures} something illegible below that that is like a couple letters and a gold curved line(see pic 9) This is in good c ondition no cracks or crazing there are a few chips around th e spout and the cold tri m is worn off around spout. Offered is a beautifully embossed White Ironstone Tall Pitcher or Ewer in the Hanging Basket Shape. This lovely pitcher is a more square shape with embossed flowers on a vine. Flowing from a hanging basket. It also has a ribbed handle with a beaded thumbrest. It was produced by Thomas Furnival& Sons in Cobridge, England circa the 1880's, and retains their mark. Large Antique Hand Painted Ewer Pitcher Gold Edged Signed P.K. 1900 17" x 8"
This is a beautiful handpainted antique ewer or pitcher. It is large in size and stands 17" high and it is 8" wide. Weighing just under 4lbs. The only markings are a handpainted signiture on the lower"cupid" side which reads"P.K. 1900. I am unsure if that is a date, but going by appearance this vase could very well be that old. The handle and base are painted in gold paint and the edges of the scenes are done in a raised gold border. One side depicts a cupid on a chariot of doves, and the other side depicts a man ad women in fancy old-fashioned costumes. The rest of the vase is painted a sky blue. It is in good antique condition with subtle fading and slight paint loss throughout. Antique ewer( water pitcher) pale blue transparent glass hand decorated in gold scrolls and cradled in silver plate. It is marked Geislingen Wurttemberg Silver Plate on the base. It dates from 1900-1910. It is palpably. Feel-ably'striped' something like a melon. The lid is hinged and swing open to release the liquid. Usually used for water, juice or wine in German castles. Antique Gaudy Welsh Vase Ewer 1 Of A Kind W/Coraline & Many Other Techniques SEE
This is a very unusual piece. It's porcelain with several different colors of enamel using almost every technique that can be used. Such as coraline, moriage, sponge-ware, and other raised styles. It looks like cloisonne on the neck, but it's psudo-cloisonne in yellow and gold. Some of the colors used are gold, red, orange, pink, yellow, green, white, and 2 different shades of blue. There is also some very fine crazing, or crackle glaze- mostly on the bottom. There is a signature on the bottom that looks like: WM Pell, or Dell, also other letters, and the number 30. I wish I knew more about this vase/ewer, as it's always been one of my favorite pieces. It's 6 3/8" high, and 3 1/2" in diameter at the widest point. This Royal Worcester Ewer(water jug) is from the Ivory Blush collection. It features various hand painted flowers trimmed in gold on an ivory porcelain background. Some of the gold is worn off the handle. The mark features the letter"X" under the crown. Indicating the piece dates back to 1886. Next to the crown are the letters"TR. Below the mark is a box with" R d N o 29115" in side it. Below that is the number"1094. There is a very small chip on the bottom edge(see closeup photo. This auction is for a Superb Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Pitcher or Ewer made by Adderley of England circa 1912. It is Beautifully decorated with Flow Blue images of a Windmill lake scene on each side and hand applied sponge gilt accents and gold trim work. The piece is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks. The piece has fine. Even crazing throughout, which is expected from porcelain of this era and adds character and authenticity. I have for you this evening a beautiful porcelain pitcher or ewer by the Austrian porcelain manufacturer and design studios of Robert Hanke in Bohemia. This lovely pitcher is in the Nouveau style and made of nice quality porcelain with a blush glaze that was all the rage in Europe at the time. The vase has been hand painted with stylized flowers with orange accent color and trimmed in raised gold slip work. The piece is dusted with gold on the face and the reverse and the base and rim are gilded as well as having a heavily gilded handle. The mold shape is pleasing to the eye and the handle is very tactile along with some scroll work at the neck. When all the elements are combined this becomes a very desirable piece by this maker and would make a great addition to your collection. ROBERT HANKE Bohemia Austria Footed Ewer Matte finish Gold Trim
Beautiful Bohemian Austria Ewer Pitcher from Artist Robert Hanke with transfer ware and hand painted array of flowers on footed base. It has gold trim on rim and handle(very little gold loss) It has a glossy inside and matte finish on the outside. You can even feel the brush strokes on the white painted flowers. The only marking I see is the number 10445 embossed on the base and the number 29 in red written on the footing which is significant of Hanke's work. Made in Austria near 1930s. It has a couple of smudges here or there as pictured as well as a tiny flea bite near the neck as consistent with age. Light craze near the tip of the spout. It stands 7 1/2" tall and about 4" wide. Dancing Figures Copper Colored Ceramic Lusterware Ewer Pitcher Jug Signed XLNT
Old copper finish lusterware ewer pitcher jug in highly ornamented DANCING FIGURES pattern going all around the body and neck of the piece. There is a very broad pour spout and high handle. The base is signed E M scribed directly into the ceramic. There appears to have been some writing or printing on the base under the glaze. But it is now totally illegible. The piece is in amazingly great condition with no breaks, scratches, cracks, rubs or crazing of the finish. The texture of the pitcher is smooth, the broad pour spout, the handsome handle, and the body of the jug are free of any noticeable problems. The base exhibits some wear as would be expected from normal movement with use. Any whitish areas in photographs 8, 9, 10 and 11 are artifacts from use of the flash to help show the pattern better. Photographs 7 and 11 are of the same area ... moreof the jug, and although the finish appears dull in photograph 11, it is actually as shiny as the rest of the piece, as shown in photograph 7. The pitcher is 9 1/8 inches in height to the top of the handle and 7 inches in height to the top of the pour spout. It is 7 inches from the top of the handle to the top of the spout and 3 1/2 inches across the opening. The base is 5 inches in diameter. The piece weighs 2 pounds 1 ounce unwrapped.

Antique Ewer by Sam Alcock & Co. 'Naomi and Her Daughters In Law'
Up for Auction or choose the Buy It Now option: This antique. Lavender and white, parian ewer(pitcher) was made by Sam Alcock& Co. Staffordshire, England, in 1847. It depicts the biblical story of Naomi and Her Daughters-In-Law on each side of ewer/pitcher. It has a nicely scalloped base and a beautifully designed white handle circling the top of the ewer. It measures 7.5 inches high(19 cm. with a 4 inch(10 cm) base diameter. It has been chipped at the top of the rim and repaired. The pieces were glued back together and then glued back into place on the ewer. It's not glued perfectly, but it's all there. There are also some finger prints smudged onto the ewer in super glue, around the area that was repaired, due to the repair. The ceramic hand painted body shows very little wear with about 3 light scuff marks from storage. Hello everyone, For your consideration is this gorgeous Victoria Carlsbad porcelain ewer. Our research indicates this was made around 1899. The company was founded in 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld. Ltd. In 1885, the company was sold to Frantz Schmidt. This is a fantastic piece of Austrain porcelain. It has a delicate gold gilding and the side has a illustration of a young couple. The bottom is clearly marked but has a second mark that is blurred. It may contain the numbers 90 which may be associated with the date or edition number. Antique Porcelon water bowl/ewer from England
Estate sale. This was professionally appraised at $600.00 This is a Midwinter Pottery made in Burslem. Staffordshire. A pottery was started in Burslem in 1910 by William Robinson Midwinter called Bourne's Bank which expanded to the Albion Pottery in 1918 and this is where the wash set was made. It dated to the late 1920s- 1930s, as indicated by the black and white checker design framing the painted panels, a motif much used during this Art Deco era. Water bowl is 15 1/2" diameter and the ewer is 11 1'4" tall. Appraiser's comments. The design on this set is quite stunning. It is a revival of a decoration made famous by Minton in the 1870's. Realistic polychrome enamel painting in the Barbotine style. It looks to be entirely hand painted or possibly hand painted over a transfer printed outline.
