Century. Dark tan color band around the upper side with the luster floral sprig pattern that may have a slightly flesh/pink tint in some lighting. Overall copper luster except for the creamy white interior. It is not marked by the maker. Very nice clean condition with no chips. Cracks, stains, or repairs. It has some wear rubs and scratches on the bulbous side that really do not hurt the appearance very much, and it will still display nicely in your collection. There is also a 1/4 inch size glaze miss on the side to the right of the base of the handle, and ... moreI see no visible crazing. GORGEOUS Antique Staffordshire Copper Lusterware Small Footed Pitcher English Art Pottery circa 1850-1899. Overall Excellent Good Clean Condition. A few small chips on the exterior roses that can be restored. A bit over 4" in height, 4 5/8" at widest point, mouth is 2.5" in diameter, footed base 2.25" diameter. No structural cracks or chips or other chips to paint. There is some mild areas of glazing inside the pitcher; not bad or extensive. There are only some small chips to the pink color of the roses that could be restored. Anything else that appears to be white aren't chips but reflections. I've shot this so that all parts of this are visible in the photos. Someone had put a sticker on the bottom which I partially removed with hair spray that did not damage the finish. As is. VINTAGE Copper Lusterware Pottery Blue Floral Creamer Pitcher Post-1891 England
VINTAGE Lusterware Copper& Navy Blue Floral Cream Pitcher Post-1891 Made in England. This richly colored cream pitcher is a fine example of post 1891 lusterware! The creamer is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Lusterware is a type of pottery with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence. Produced by metallic oxides in an overglaze finish, which when given a second firing at a lower temperature in a reduction kiln(which excludes oxygen) results in a high-gloss metallic finish.
