Antique milk jug pitcher French European
An antique. Or maybe vintage, milk jug/pitcher with sweet wild roses transferred onto each side. It has a mark on bottom but almost impossible to make out, I can see the word Fran. Has a hexagonal body with a curved rim and sweeping handle made out of a heavy china. In great condition, no chips or cracks. Measures 6.75" tall. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor is no longer perfect as the day it was made. 1800's ANTIQUE SET of 2 MAJOLIKA WATER and MILK PITCHER - RARE
Offering set of 2 antique majolica pitchers signed by artists on the bottom made circa 1850-1890. The larger-water or coffee pitcher has overlapping green string beans and flower with foliage design overlapping the body on the front and back side with yellow in color structured background.Inside gla glaze is in very nice purple pink color. The bottom has been designed in brown basket wave design.The handle is in nice light bluegreen color. Signed on the bottom in brown color.By the top opening is few old repairs well done by the family of Amish-Mennonite from Pennsylvania. They are well known from it arts and crafts talents. The water/coffee pitcher is 8 1/4" tall- measures by the spout. And 6 1/2" wide from spout to handle, and the low foot has 4" across. Antique Salt Glaze Stoneware Colbalt Blue Water/ Milk Pitcher !
This is from my grandmother who was a little old German lady that collected many things. The picture has been in storage since the 1960’s in my dad.S attic. I am not sure as to the artist or manufacture but I can assure you that it is authentic and not a reproduction. Measures 8"x7"x5"Condition is very good no cracks or chips that I can see. The figure on the picture is playing some sort of instrument on his lap. If you like this one then bid cause I don't have 2 of this. I am guessing as to the age being between 1900 and 1940 as that was when my grandmother bought most of her things. If anyone knows more about this please email me and I'll post the information.

This exquisite Empress shape pitcher is white with bright blue accent lines on the rim and handle. The center line is broken on one side with a scene of what could be the Zuiderzee in times gone by. Sailing ships ply a tranquil sea with windmills on the horizon. This pitcher is about 5-1/2" high. And about 7" from handle to spout. You are bidding on an Antique Blue and White Stoneware Milk Pitcher Circa 1910. It measures about 8" tall. It has the Monastery or Castle on Fishscale Background Pattern. This pitcher is pictured on page 85 of"Blue& White Stoneware" by Kathryn McNerney. The pitcher is very clean inside and out. There is a very tight. Hard to see, 3" hairline crack that descends from the top rim near the handle. The pitcher still rings true when tapped on the side. Antique Primitive Stoneware Salt Glaze Sexy Brown Milk Pitcher
This 7" tall pitcher has the handle coming from the lip in a continuous flow. It is a wide mouth and a curvy body. Which is why I described it as sexy. The handle is also formed very crudely and is uneven. There is a slight decoration on each side of the handle of a flower or dragonfly. It is hard to see because there are so many layers of glaze. The bottom is glazed and has blobs where it has collected on the underneath edge. I think it is very old and a little different. Please contact me if you have any questions. I do not see any lines though that match up from one side to the other, so I would say that structurally this piece is perfect. Stands at 7" Tall and is 6" at its widest. Beautiful Transfer Patter of foliage. Butterfly, bee or moth and lots of leaves and branches. I've tried showing each and every side and detail to this piece so that you're able to see the condition. Antique Victorian Spongeware Water Milk Pitcher Stoneware Yellow Ware
Offered is a vintage 19th century spongeware water or milk pitcher. It has a serpentine top rim with a raised floral decoration. Heavily crazed. sponged with blue and rust. It has one 1/2" chip on the inside rim near the spout, a 3" hairline from the top rim down, and a spider along the bottom. When tapped on the side, the pitcher has a nice ring, is as solid as the day it was made! I've provided as many photos as possible. It measures 7 1/4"T x 4 3/4" at the base, 6"Wide at the handle. This piece is a genuine antique, unlike most of that modern reproduction blue& white spongeware seen on eBay. It has been in my family for at least 3 generations. Just a pretty pitcher in classic white ironstone. Beautiful line to it. Great for the country kitchen, shelf piece, wildflower arrangement, milk pitcher, keeps things nice and cold. it is just a simple fluted column but has a grape leaf at the top of the handle. I see no issues with it. it is of that gray/blue color, not the stark white. Antique 1800's Mason's Ironstone 6" Staffordshire Transferware Milk Pitcher 28oz
This is a Mason's mid 19th century milk pitcher produced in Staffordshire England. This pitcher is from the estate of an affluent New York farm family who had worked and lived on this property since the 1850's. The pitcher has an eight sided or octagon shape with a deep blue transferware pattern over opaque white ironstone. The bottom of this pitcher is entirely flat with no rims. The pitcher is completely covered inside and out with a glossy finish including the entire bottom. The glossy finish appears to have been brushed on the base as opposed to the rest of the pitcher. The solid handle was applied to the pitcher at some point in the making. The pitcher has a rural scenic design along with very attractive leaves and flowers surrounding the top rim. The leaf pattern around the top is identical to the one used on their Vista pattern. ... moreThe rest of the pattern is absolutely gorgeous. I have not found another pitcher like it. The handle is in the form of a snake. This pitcher has an early. Simple mark on it's base. This under glaze deep blue inky makers mark reads"MASON'S" over a crown, and underneath reads"PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA" in a banner. Variations of this mark were used from the 1820's up until it became law in 1890 to identify the country of origin at which time England was added. This appears to be a very early mark. I have taken several pictures for your better understanding. I will be very happy to answer any questions you might have. As to the condition; This piece is in outstanding condition. It was only owned by one family and was well cared for. There are no chips. Cracks or damage of any kind. There is a slight yellowing on the bottom of the base. It measures just over 6" high. From front to back with the handle it measures 5 1/4" Without the handle it measures about 5" across. The pitcher holds 28 ounces comfortably. We pack everything very carefully. Beautiful Antique Wedgwood Jasperware Milk/Cream Pitcher/Jug Cobalt Presented is a beautiful shapely Wedgwood Jasperware pitcher or jug in cobalt blue with classic white applied decorative work. The jug has lovely curves to it. It is decorated with female figures. A cupid-like statue, an altar of incense, and two trees. The top of the pitcher has nice floral swags. A laurel garland is beneath the spout. Please scroll down to see our photographs. The base of the pitcher is marked for Wedgwood and Made in England which would indicate this as having been made in 1911 or later. Beneath both plinths. On the blue area, there appear two tiny smudges. Under a magnifying glass, these appear to be light smudges of gold colored paint. These do not detract from the beauty of the piece. There is a very fine hairline crack on one side(indicated in our ... morephotographs) The crack is slightly visible on the interior as well. Otherwise. 1800's ANTIQUE ENGLISH MILK PITCHER CERAMIC JUG TREE BLOSSOMS & BUFFALO NICKEL
1800'S ANTIQUE ENGLISH MILK PITCHER WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER Beautiful pitcher with the English Registry No. Rd/o 69383 that dates its registry to 1887 and this piece would have been made around this time. It is about 5.5" tall at the handle and about 7.25" wide and weighs over 1.5 pounds. It has an ivory background with a tree and blossom patterns. It is in very good condition as I do not see any noticeable nicks or chips or cracks. But it does have crazing throughout the piece and there is a yellowed area to the glaze and looks like it may have had heat contact(see photo) about the size of a dime. This is a lovely piece that displays very well and is well over 100 years old.
