A pair of antique French opaque gray art glass perfume/scent bottles. From the base to the top of the stopper they measure 8-7/8" tall. Enameled white dot trim on stopper as well as gold accent. Hand painted design on each bottle is absolutely beautiful. Raised enamel on the petals and leaves. Beautiful detail on the butterflies. These bottles are in good condition with no cracks in the glass. There is a very tiny chip on one of the stopper at the very top where the white accent dots are placed. Very slight wear to some of the gold trim at the edges. These imperfections do not take way from the beauty of these pieces. They are really lovely antique collectibles! No maker's mark. This atomizer stands about 7 1/2" tall with a 4 3/4" tall cased and mottled blue glass bottle. The fitting is stamped Made in France. And if the bottle was also produced in France, then my best'guess' is that it was produced by Schneider Glass. Mottled glass such as this one is commonly attributed to Czech or Bohemian glasshouses, another possibility for this unmarked art glass. Although the rubber puffer ball is petrified, the cord damaged, and the glass siphon tube inside the bottle is broken and needs to be replaced, this atomizer is in fine condition; no damage to the glass, all metal fittings complete, and with an easy restoration this could be a working bottle. Description: Gorgeous antique French sterling silver& cut glass perfume bottle trio set within a sterling silver holder. The cut glass is done in a vibrant shade of green terminating to clear. Having silver lids with a slightly conical top and decorated with a running coin patterned border. Revealing silver collars and original glass stoppers. Each bottle is wedge shaped and their dimensions make up one third of a circle. Neatly and compactly set into a fitted matching silver base. Stands 5 1/8" Each bottle measures 4 5/8" in height x 2 1/8" width. The holder has 3 1/8" diameter at the base. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark. A terrific. Unusual antique, probably French, double-ended cranberry glass perfume bottle. With engine-turned decoration to its silver gilt hinged-lid ends. Dating from around 1860/80, bearing European silver control marks and in very good condition with slight edge nibbling to the glass and one or two very shallow dents to the silver, it weighs 51.0 grams and measures 4 ½ inches long. This piece was made by Leonie Macherat and dates to 1899-1907. The silver of the piece is French first standard. Which has a purity of 950. It's worthwhile to note that this is a higher purity than sterling standard, which is 925. The glass is beautifully engraved with frosted scroll and floral designs. These designs are very detailed and skillfully done. The side of the bottle has a band of silver overlay in a scroll and leaf motif. This overlay is quite thick, as well as very detailed. The silver on the neck of the bottle and the base is textured and has a scalloped edge. Even the silver overlay of the stopper is adorned ... morewith floral designs, ribbing and stippled texturing. The glass stopper fits like a glove. This piece is in excellent condition. The glass has no chips. No cracks, no breaks, no discolorations and no repairs. The silver has no splits and no repairs.
