this is an exquisite very rare antique sterling silver. Cut crystal, guilloche enamel perfume bottle. it has a hallmark HCD. An anchor, a lion, and an x the hcd is the maker. The anchor is for Birmingham UK. The place item was assayed, Lion is for. 925 silver purity and X is the date letter. Made in early 1900's it has an exquisite design with a 10 sides cut crystal bottle. the cap has exquisite blue guilloche enamel top. Which has small side piece chipped, refer to pics. it is wrapped by sterling silver. the bottle has its original stopper in good shape. 1850s French Enamel Perfume Bottle w/ Gold & Floral Pattern Lay Down Victorian
WELCOME FRIENDS! Beautiful floral. Fruit, and gold hand blown glass French perfume bottle from the 1850s. The blue flowers on the face and rear of the bottle are hand painted with raised beading to give the piece a real textured appearance. The gold trim still has a lovely glimmer considering it was painted over 150 years ago! I did notice what look like a chip on the bottom corner, but when I took my loop out and look at it, the gold paint covers the chip. I would consider this a manufactures defect. There are several small chips in this bottom area. But two of them are also covered with gold paint. There is one small chip around this bottom area. Please look at the photos and notate. To me it sounds worse than what it is. It just takes a lot of sentences to explain something when you can see it in person. The enamel paint on the piece is ... morein great shape. Original full dauber at the end of the stopper. Stopper with rich gilding and wonderful faux emerald on top. The neck of the bottle has a band of fantastic guilloche enamel in a complex design in sparkling emerald green. Golden orange and gold. Various textured surfaces, parallel lines, squares within squares with irregularly sized borders. A golden masquerade mask with engraved detail. I believe it to be a Moser creation as a while back I sold a decanter set identical to this and marked Moser. Great unique design in very nice condition. I don't see any wear to the gold but you may see something I'm missing. Bulb is hard and does not squeeze but displays well. Circa: 40'50's 6-3/4" tall. 4" across the middle and 2-1/2 at the base. Executed in Liberty's signature blue and green enamel*the center is engraved(very finely) with the Vaughan family coat of arms and motto*the interior of the hinged lid has a light gold wash. And the bottle has its original cut glass stopper*a very scarce form to find from Liberty…important addition to a perfume bottle or Liberty collection DIMENSIONS*height is about 5" diameter ... moreof bottle is approximately 4" MARKS the silver neck is fully hallmarked with the L& Co trademark and Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1910; the lid is also marked with the lion passant and 1910 date letter CONDITION excellent; a couple of minor shallow indentations on the silver; enamel feels smooth and appears to be undamaged; glass is undamaged. Save for minor wear along the underside from being placed on a surface; there is minor perfume residue inside the bottle and still hints of an old fragrance! Vintage Pink Enamel Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay. Approx. 2 3/8" tall and 2 1/2" wide. Looks like numbers in the bottom but I am not sure. Probably German with the Crown top being popular with alot of their perfume bottles. Circa 1930's to 1940's. There is no dauber. And there is some silver ware to the rim below the crown. The rest of the silver and face is very nice, you may see a reflection in a photo or two. The one pink spot by the base rim is a little bump natural to the piece. I included 5 photos you can enlarge. Description Art Deco French sterling silver mounted cut crystal cologne/perfume bottle decorated with blue guilloche enamel. Unique wheel cut fluted pattern to the crystal body. Finished by a deeply cut 16-point starburst to the base. Mounted with a sterling silver threaded collar and screw on lid that opensto reveal a cut glass stopper beneath. Topped by an elegant and stylish engraved monogram of initials FL encircled by a blue guilloche enamel border. Measures 4 1/2" in height. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" at the base. Bearing marks of the French Minerve 1st hallmark used in Paris since 1838. Which depicts the head of the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of.950/1000. Antique Perfume Bottle metal filigree/ enamel decorations
A beautiful little six sided bottle. The metal work is very intricate and is the same all the way around. Little blue and green enamel vines and flowers adorn each side and the top has little enamel petals around the tip. There are little hearts all around the shoulder of the bottle it the same metal as the rest. I cannot be sure of the metal that is on this. Though I believe it's probably pewter. There are no marks on it that I can find. The metal on the body of the bottle and the base is silver colored. The neck and the top seem to be gold colored. But I can't be sure that it's actually gold. It certainly is NOT solid gold. But may be gold plated. The top has been broken off where it attached to the bottle. It looks as though it screwed off and was perhaps closed too tightly and was twisted apart. There are also some signs of ... morewear and tarnish on the metal base and the metal work on the bottle. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a Blue Opaline glass Perfume Bottle with silver tone atomizer. The glass is a very light blue and almost see through. I do think it is a blown glass bottle. It has pink and white flowers hand painted in heavy enamel so you can feel the texture. There is very little loss to the floral enamels and colors are still bright. The style of floral paintings reminds me of some Mount Washington glass items I have seen. There are no makers marks so one never knows for certain. The silver tone collar and atomizer show no major damage and have only a couple very tiny surface scratches. There are no chips. Cracks or fleabites to the glass that I can see. There are a couple of dimples& bubbles in glass which is very common with blown glass. I mention them ... moreto be as accurate as possible but you will hardly notice them. The pink blub and cord are new. I had a hard time deciding on the length of the cord. Most of these photos are taken with a"short cord" The very last photo shows what it looks like with a"long cord" I can fix it however you want, just send me a note with your payment to tell me your preference of"short cord" or"long cord" The bottle is very clean inside and out. Rare 18th century Battersea Enamel Scent Bottle Holder Original Scent Perfume This came from a collection where the former owner traveled extensively in Europe to find the best and some of the rarest perfume bottles to be found! This is an exquisite Battersea Enamel 18th Century perfume bottle holder which still holds the original tiny cut crystal perfume bottle for which this was intended. This is in really excellent condition. With some of the usual light crazing of the enamel on the lid and the base. This is wonderfully gilded and hand painted with different vingettes of flowers in every panel. And the case itself with all of the pink paint, and the flowers is in excellent, only very slightly crazed condition. The interior of the case is lined with well worn silk on the interior of the bottom and the top of the case is green enamel. The ... morefittings at the hinge on the closure are etched. Decorated bronze which i felt was best to leave unpolished. The small hand cut crystal flacon is 1 3/4" long and is 3/4" wide. The bottle is in over all excellent condition with a few tiny chips to the stopper. And a shallow small chip on the neck. Overall, considering the age, I am THRILLED TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL CRYSTAL IN ANY CONDITION! When I was examining this bottle. I peered into the bottom and found the price tag from the 1960's- circa 1964, this was $295- 50 years ago, that was REAL money! Back in 1964, minimum wage was about $1 per hour! Rare~19thC Webb Mt Washington Pairpoint Enamel Laydown Perfume Scent bottle
Welcome to The"AntiquesArt" ebay auctions. We always try to start out items with low starting bid no matter what the value. Which I am sure both collectors and bidders will like very much.the way a Real Auction should be. This week we have this Antique. Late 19th Century"Lay down Cresent" scent bottle. Extremely rare and magnificent piece. The glass is done in a rare green to clear with a satin finish. It is beautifully and skillfully hand painted in enamels and has a swirling hand cut ridge swirling around the piece. The lid is unmarked but is done with a nice repousse' floral and scroll motif. The dauber is glass and in perfect condition. It sits inside the lid in a wooden form. I have not cleaned the piece and there is a slight bit of amber perfume that is very thick(it is truly a very small amount) I have not cleaned ... moreit simply because I think it is orignal perfume from the 1800's and is devine. It would be a shame if I was the only one who after all of these years was to enjoy its scent. I can imagine what this piece would look like holding amber perfume, shading from the green glass and a rich amber color to clear. It is in excellent condition enamel work is excellent, the lid and dauber. It is also free if chips, fleabites, cracks or repairs. It measures 4 1/2" long. We purchased this from a woman whos grand mother puchased it she said it was either Webb or Pairpoint but her grandmother purchased it herself and it has been displayed in a cabinet by her daugher and grandaughter(the grandaughter is now in her early 80's) We do not know the exact value of the piece so we are putting this up for a buy it now with best offer. Vintage Blue Enamel Gold-Etched Perfume Bottle
This beautifully etched perfume bottle cover actually comes off the bottle. But fits it like a glove. Measures approx. 2" tall by 1.5" wide x.25" The blue enamel is etched with and delicate limb with a gorgeous gold and red bird with flowers at either end. It is trimmed in gold which could be 14 or 22K, there are no markings at all. The enamel is showing signs of age on the back side, but no breaks or missing enamel. I have not seen another of its type. A must for any collector!

Works securely and very tight Weight 21 grams Material Alloy. Enamel_ This piece is unique for its shape and size as well as the prettily colored guilloche enameling. The bottle has a slightly puffy shape but it is still pretty slim. The bottle is a substantial metal but doesn't test positive for silver or gold content and has a brassy/coppery patina. The enamel is a salmon pink. Pink with a touch of orange, and has blue painted flowers on the front and is plain at the back. There is wear to the blue painted flowers, one flower is completely missing, and there is some wear to the leaves as well- I would guess that the painted flowers is 70% intact. There is a little bit of wear, ... morethinning and tiny chips, to the pink enameling but it is very modest and noticeable mainly on close inspection. The pink enamel is 95% intact on both the front and back of the piece. The metal has some discoloration and age but still has a nice patina. There are no dents or dings to the shape of the bottle. Overall this is a uniquely designed and charming, guilloche enamel laydown perfume bottle, that is from the 1910's- 20's that is in good condition. This auction is for a wonderful miniature perfume bottle. Measures 2 3/4 inches tall. Has all the original czech glass jewels. Beautiful rose enamel design on the front. The chain that attaches the lid to the base is off. But the hoop is there and I would think can be easily fixed. Now as I examine this I see there is a"flower" opening on the base. Here is an elegant antique black art glass perfume bottle. In a bulb form, with Moser enameling and gilding. The design is a golden band with painted enamel happy dots and painted gold all over ivy leaves. Worn on a chatelaine, finger ring, or pendant. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS MODERATE TO HIGH WEAR ON THE GOLDEN PAINTED IVY LEAVES AND WEAR STREAKS ON THE CENTER BAND. The lid and chain/loop are brass, tight fit, NO STOPPER. THE LID AND INNER RIM HAVE ORIGINAL PATINA AND SPOTS OF GREENISH CORROSION. I DID NOT USE A CHEMICAL SOLUTION TO CLEAN.
