This old Little Brown Jug is Stoneware Red Pottery and measures 6" 1/4th inches tall. It has the fingerhole handle and cork top and other then original firing imperfections. Has no damage! These Moonshine novelty jugs are getting hard to find and display wonderfully for many applications. I see a small maker's mark on the bottom but, can't seem to make it out. Both about the size of the one pictured. Crazing is most notable on the bottom 1/3 of the jug as well as on the underside. One very small. old stoneware whiskey jug small disc round brown pottery
This old jug is stoneware with a dark brown glaze. It is one of three from a lodge in the Ozarks that operated between 1929 and 1965. Which was decorated with things from the 1920s. It is 7" high, 5" wide and 2.5" deep. It has no damage, but has a chunk of stoneware under the glaze at the top of the ring. I will be listing another just like it in metallic lighter brown and will gladly combine shipping. The other dark one will be listed when this one sells, so if you want it, too, let me know.

But there are no markings minus what looks like a letter G stamped in the back. The jug measures about 11" tall and it has a very unusual pinched handle design that I’ve never seen. EARLY STONEWARE HANDLED WHISKEY JUG J. FISHER LYONS N.Y. POTTERY GLAZED CROCK
We have here an incredibly nice stoneware WHISKEY JUG made by J. Jacob) Fisher. Lyons, New York. It is in really good condition for being well over 100 years old since it was probably made in the late 1800s. It has a chip about the size of 1/2 a nickle and 2 much much smaller nicks next to it(our last 2 pictures) There are also some very minor scratches and nicks to the glaze which just adds character to the jug. It is stamped in the front just below the neck which is a little hard to see" J. This is a sturdy(and heavy) old whiskey jug by Robinson Clay Products Co. Of Akron Ohio. It measures approximately 12" in height and the base is approximately 6 1/2" in diameter. It is 2-tone brown& tan. There are no cracks. There are manufacturing flaws that you can see in the photos. And there is a glaze chip(see photo) that looks like it happened later, but overall, I would say this jug is in great shape for its age. If you have any questions at all. This is a 2 Tone Color color jug with the top being a dark brown and the bottom section having a cream color. This is a large jug that weighs 26 pounds and measures 18 and 1/2" tall by 11" across at the base with a 2 and 1/4" across mouth. There is some minor wear present as well as a small chip on the inner section of the mouth as well as some fine hairline cracks towards the bottom in a small area section. EARLY 1900s HAND TURNED BROWN STONEWARE POTTERY BEE HIVE WHISKEY JUG 2 GALLON
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this great old piece of stoneware pottery from the early 1900s. It was hand turned into a bee hive shaped large whiskey jug and is approximately 2 gallons in size. It is in relatively good condition with only a couple of small chips one being on the handle about the size of half a small fingernail and one near the base about the same size. There is a flaw about the size of a thumb near the base that looks like it was there prior to firing and some small nicks and dings from normal use from over the years. Along the bottom it appears that it may not have been glazed in a couple of areas prior to firing also but this jug is still a great example of early pottery. Please look closely at our pictures so you can see all the things we have tryed to describe prior to bidding.

This cute mini crock/whiskey sample jug stands 4 3/4 inches tall and is 3 inches in diameter. The only marking is a small number 3 on the bottom. Age and origin are unknown. It is a rich reddish brown color. Any imperfections are inherent to the glaze. There are no cracks.
