This genuine Deco cross is estimated to date to the 1920s and is simply marked"Sterling" on its reverse. It has the angular lines and stepped detail on the ends that was typical of the Art Deco movement. It is a very attractive piece! It measures 1.80" long x 1.125" wide. The cross weighs 4.7 grams. It is in very good condition-please supersize my photos for best detail of its condition. The chain is old. But my belief is that it is not original to the cross. It is silver plated and has a very pretty link typical of the Art Deco period as well. It measures 18" in length. The chain looks great with the cross! The chain can easily be substituted with one of your sterling chains if desired. This very desirable Art Deco sterling cross and chain looks terrific on. Don't miss this chance to make it yours! It is on a fine but sturdy 16-inch curb link chain marked 925 that is newer. The second more modern cross is stunning and features a heavy bale and six genuine gemstones. The one on the top is definitely an opal triplet and the tiny center one is likely a cornflower blue sapphire.
