In my ... moreopinion. I am selling the matching gentleman's dresser, or highboy, separately. Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. There are 6 drawers. Shipping will be done via freight or local pick up. If you live near Orlando(32804)I can deliver for free. If you live outside of Orlando please message me for a fuel charge. Very nice Empire 5-drawer dresser or chest with burl walnut veneer. This piece is solid. Clean and tight. Drawers are made of single-board, poplar(the grain in some boards is curly) with hand-planed bottoms,and handmade dovetail joints, Each drawer has a pair of turned, solid wood knobs. Top pair of drawers are large and deep with beautifully crafted ogee faces. Drawers do not stick at all and operate smoothly. Overall dimensions of piece are 43 inches wide by 21-3/8 inches deep by 44-3/4 inches tall. There is a charred spot on the top where a kerosene lamp tipped over burned the wood. There are a few small knicks on the edge of the veneer and has been repaired on one drawer face(see photos) Local pick up only.

Being offered for sale this Victorian Walnut Marble Top Three Drawer Chest with Carved Pulls and Oval Decorative molding on the drawer Fronts circa 1875. This lovely chest measures a total height of 34 3/4 inches. Total width of 38 1/4 inches and total depth of 18 3/4 inches and weighs approximately 95 lbs. We believe the white and grey veined marble top to be original and is in fine antique condition but does show some slight usage and character marks and a bottom rim chip that is common for marble of this age. The three large storage drawers each offer raised oval decorative molding and carved pulls with period dove-tailed ends. American Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut Lowboy over Trifid Feet After the original period works of Philadelphia and Chester County. Pennsylvania Probably crafted during the mid-to-late 19th Century Item# 130102YTP18 This is a simply gorgeous American Pennsylvania Chippendale(Style) Lowboy Antique Chest of Drawers crafted in solid walnut. While every detail is careful executed in the manner of the original works. We believe this piece was actually crafted nearly one-hundred years after the period during the mid-to-late 19th Century. It features a fine two board top, the majority being a single solid plank with only the last few inches at the back being crafted of a second joined board, the grain selected carefully and quite fine. The edge has a carved quarter-round molding of the solid, scalloping at each front corner, projecting generously ... moreover the chest. Three small drawers rest above the deeply serpentine apron, each joined front and back with fine scored dovetails, the bottom deeply chamfered and rabbeting into the sides, period Queen Anne hardware on each drawer face. The apron around the entire table is noteworthy: bold. Flowing, inspiring, the overall flow of the skirt gives incredible lift to the table. It gives robustness to the form, the lines active and dancing, the table looking poised for action. The three-scrolled form of the apron matches the trifid form of the foot, almost matching it's proportional flow. The legs are carved of a single solid piece of walnut from the table top to the foot, the sides of the table tenoned into the top of the leg and pegged symmetrically before curving in bold knees over fine cabriole form. American Federal Period Walnut Chest of Drawers Four graduated drawers flanked by chamfered columns over splayed French feet Pennsylvania. C. 1800-15 Item# 130101PHP13 While the Hepplewhite form employing splayed french feet in case pieces is well developed. Even common, this chest exudes a certain strength that is uncommon in Federal period works of the Hepplewhite style. The solid walnut and solid poplar construction gives it inordinate weight, but the intense lift of the feet, raising the apron sharply in the corners, eliminates the heaviness of the look. The projecting top is crafted of two boards, the last 3/4" along the front actually a continuation of the front of the chest up through the top, a somewhat unusual and perhaps unique construction method. Surrounding this is a dropped and applied molding over four graduated drawers. ... moreThese with molded lips of the solid, each framed with hand dovetailed poplar boards with a deeply chamfered poplar bottom sliding into rabbets in the frame and tacked at the back with square nails. The dovetailing method is somewhat original, using very large dovetails at the front, smaller dovetails at the back, the lowest back dovetail squared on it's lower edge to receive the drawer bottom in the rabbet cut. Flanking these drawers are chamfered columns on either side. Both sides of the case are single solid planks of walnut. Incredibly large boards with wonderful grain appearance. Five vertical poplar boards line the back of the case, these entirely undisturbed and nailed in neat rows, the boards on the far left and right sides continuing all the way to the ground. As a result of this construction method, the feet are in simply outstanding stable condition, despite the incredible weight being supported. The feet are entirely original, the interior blocking of each a complex and almost puzzle-like formation. Gorgeous carved solid walnut Gentleman's 6 drawer dresser chest original finish
This is a beautiful example of a Gentleman's dresser or chest. Early Victorian era and style. The sides and front of the dresser are solid walnut, as are the dove-tailed drawer fronts. With the added beauty of burled walnut oval panels. The black and brass teardrop drawer pulls are old and not reproduction, but not original to the piece. There probably was either a tw o- post earlier brass handle or a carved pull. T he finish is original. It has two vanity boxes on top. And the dresser is finished off with a small wood pediment bet ween the vanity boxes. I estimate this chest to be from the 1880's. Which makes it one hundred and thirty years old. It has had very good care throughout its' life. And is in excellent condition, with just wear due to age and usage. The burl veneer is all intact. None missing-which is incredible for ... moreits' age! There is one slightly lighter ring on the top and a few scratches on the bottom panel. But nothing noticeable. There are four drawers-the two in the center are slightly less deep and the top and bottom ones are a little deeper. Due to the design of the chest. There are carved and turned supports up the front corners of each side. Ending in a spoon-carved small corbel on either side. This piece has more character than most of the Victorian dressers I've seen and was probably a high-end piece in its' day. There is a key that came with the dresser, that fits the locks-but, they won't turn, for the most part. So, it could be made to lock, but, at the moment, it won't. The brass locks are all there. The measurements are: 41 inches wide by 47 inches high by 17 inches deep. I am happy to take and send more photos. If you are interested. The dresser can be picked-up. This wonderful big tall chest was recently picked from an old Boston area home and is 100% ORIGINAL and in near mint shape! This piece has six drawers. The drawers are all in good condition and have early hand cut dovetails. The drawer fronts are decorated with two raised burled walnut panels each and all six original drawer locks are still present. The original brass and wood drawer pulls are a rare smaller version of the victorian tear drop pulls. Flanking the drawers are beautiful vertical burled columns. This chest is deeper and larger than most, heavier too! It is of great quality and retains a very nice original finish. The top is beautiful, originally had a wooden back splash or gallery and has four holes(see ... morephotos) The sides have four panels, the back boards are all original as well. Round figured knobs appear to be original. Drawers have hand-cut lap dovetails and cockbeading of the type brought into use starting in the 1770s. Overall condition is excellent. There is a chip approximately 1" long from the veneer along the front right edge. Which no doubt can be easily repaired by a professional. Overall condition of the veneer is excellent, but there is some buckling on the left side of the piece, consistent with its age. Bottom features bracketed feet and an elegant shaped skirt on front and sides. Offered for auction is this very nice circa 1870's-1880's AestheticWalnut Victorian chest of drawers. The chest is a very nice small size. 38" t x 30" w x 19" d. It has 5 graduated drawers and under the top drawer is a pull out flat shelf for writing or folding clothes(see pic 4) The front stiles have nice Aesthetic carvings at the top and the sides are recessed rectangular panels surrounded by molding. Plinth base and raised on casters. The stamped brass bail handles and backplates have a wonderful scenic design. The top has been used a lot so will need to be cleaned up and maybe even refinished due to all the scraping and scratches. But still is useable and functional. Scratches, dings, etc consistent with age and use.

UNUSUAL WALNUT VICTORIAN LOCKSIDE CHEST WITH BUTLERS DESK AND TOP
For a more detailed video. Please adjust the quality of the video with the cog wheel symbol in the YouTube video. Unusual walnut Victorian lockside chest with butlers desk and shelf top. The chest has six drawers. The side lock enables the user to lock the five bottom drawers with a key which I have. Two of the pulls have been replaced on the drawer that contains the butlers desk. They blend well with the other pulls. The top contains two doors over a mirror. It has a gallery shelf on both sides of the doors. Underneath the shelves. The back walnut boards have a beaded board design. The sides of the chest also have a beaded board design. The top is removable for easier transport. The raised design on the drawer fronts are burl walnut veneer. The chest is in very good estate condition. It appears to have been refinished many years ago. The ... morebeaded board's finish on the very top right side has run. This can be seen in the pictures. A wooden pull in the butlers desk is missing. There has been a repair above the top drawer. This is a very nice walnut dresser with wishbone mirror. As far as we know it is all original. It has been owned by one family for the past 70 years. We do not know the history of it prior to that. The piece is in very good condition with exception of a crack on the top of the right hand glove box and a couple dark stains on the top of the dresser. As you know. Any antique furniture will have minor nicks. We have not tried to repair anything, but did apply a good furniture oil to the entire surface. Acorn pull handles. Antique Victorian Eastlake walnut chest of drawers mirror frame on stand

Offered for auction is this nice large walnut mirror frame that attaches to the top of a chest of drawers. Two walnut supports with brass turn screw attachments support the mirror frame(no mirror) The supports have screw holes in the bases of them to be screwed down to the top of the chest. Mirror can be angled up or down with the brass adjustment handles. Frame has nice parallel carved reeded lines all around and the dimensions are outside. 35 1/4" x 29 1/8" Inside, 30" x 24 1/2" Weight is about 10 lbs.

Pennsylvania c. 1805-20 Four graduated drawers flanked by chamfered columns over splayed French feet Item# 1301PYP21PZ While the Hepplewhite form employing splayed french feet in case pieces is well developed. Even common, this chest exudes a certain strength that is uncommon in Federal period works of the Hepplewhite style. The solid walnut and solid poplar construction gives it inordinate weight, but the intense lift of the feet, raising the apron sharply in the corners, eliminates the heaviness of the look. The projecting top is crafted of two boards, the last 3/4" along the front actually a continuation of the front of the chest up through ... morethe top, a somewhat unusual and perhaps unique construction method. Surrounding this is a dropped and applied molding over four graduated drawers. These with molded lips of the solid, each framed with hand dovetailed poplar boards with a deeply chamfered poplar bottom sliding into rabbets in the frame and tacked at the back with square nails. The dovetailing method is somewhat original, using very large dovetails at the front, smaller dovetails at the back, the lowest back dovetail squared on it's lower edge to receive the drawer bottom in the rabbet cut. Flanking these drawers are chamfered columns on either side. Both sides of the case are single solid planks of walnut. Incredibly large boards with wonderful grain appearance. Five vertical poplar boards line the back of the case, these entirely undisturbed and nailed in neat rows, the boards on the far left and right sides continuing all the way to the ground. As a result of this construction method, the feet are in simply outstanding stable condition, despite the incredible weight being supported. This is an incredible walnut 11 drawer gentlemen's chest or highboy circa 1880. I think the chest is European but I can't decide. The chest is quite tall at 63" 43 1/2" wide, and 20 3/4" deep. All hardware is original and outstanding. The finish has a wonderful aged patina. The chest needs 7 drawer stops and a small piece of trim attached. 1800's Walnut Chest Dresser with Acorn Pulls-BEAUTIFUL!!!- Make me a fair Offer
I thought for sure someone would love to have this. Please make me a fair offer and it is yours. Approx 1860's Gentleman Dresser. Ornate carvings between the legs on the sides. The wood is in great shape. 41 1/2 W x 20 1/2 D x 37 1/2 H This would be for a person that wants to have a project and have the satisfaction seeing the results when finished. Does need work. Re-gluing in some areas, mostly drawers, one drawer wood slide needs replacing. Would look great painted a yellow with a granite top. Or white with a marble top. Or a side dresser for table linens in the dining room. The two top drawers could be made into jewelry boxes. I added a picture showing what this dresser would look like painted yellow

Walnut Victorian carved lingerie chest lockside--fancy---14780
This is a rather uncommon piece of late Victorian furniture. A carved Walnut lock side lingerie chest. Locksides(sometimes called Sidelocks) were. Although uncommon by themselves, were generally executed as larger chests of drawers, more typically a dresser or chest. This piece is a lingerie chest with a beveled mirror(excellent condition) top with heavily carved crest and framework with pierced carved supports. Rather an overall organic motif with an Eastlake influence. Base has 4 deep drawers with a hinged locking panel(no key) along the right side. In excellent refinished condition and with a smooth and even finish. Approximately 79 in. high x 24 in. wide x 20.5 in. deep. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. The weight is approximately 145 pounds. The top of this handsome chest has an elegant removable mirror. The lovely mirror frame is graced with an incised carved linear design along with carved floral rosette squares on the top corners. An elegant turned spool gallery completes the top configuration of this wonderful chest. Abundant storage opportunity is found in the six dovetailed drawers. Incredible Antique German Chest w/Butler Sec. Late 1700's, Walnut and Chestnut
Incredible Late 1700's German Hand Carved Chest of Drawers with Butler's Secretary. Amazing carving. Made from walnut and chestnut wood. I purchased from a Birmingham, AL estate; those folks were career military, were stationed in Italy; they purchased the pieces there from an antique shop; brought them back tot he states when they returned. Piece is topped with a beautiful original piece of Italian Carrera marble. Marble has no dings or chips. This one of three pieces in the set. Measures 36 1/2 x 18 1/4 x 62. One of the other pieces in a perfect match just has two additional drawers instead of secretary desk door. If you want a pair, they are perfect together.
