8'x8' 1880's Proscenium Arch from Odd Fellows or Masonic Hall Great Home Theater
Size is approximate. I will add measurements later. This is the second one I have found, the red one is not included but just to show you how it could look in a home.I removed the crown from the red one and moved the columns in so it would fit in my house but without any modifications to the piece itself. It does not have the Odd Fellows IOOF on it any more but as you can see by the one in my house it shows witness where letters were. Pick up only or if need be it is broken down to three pieces and could be wrapped in cardboard,contact me to figure shipping though it will be expensive. I am guessing around 1880 but good chance it could be older. Has a great look and many uses like framing you Odd Fellow collection, home theater or trim in those pocket doors on a Victorian home. A striking interior colonnade salvaged out of a home in Rockford. IL and dating from the early 1900's. This interior room divider begins with an elegant header embellished with band of Greek key detailing; the header is supported at either end by two Doric columns which sit upon boxed bases with recessed panels. The colonnade is in very good antique condition and it retains its original, nicely aged finish. It measures 115-3/4" wide by 106-7/8" tall. Stunning Pair of 8 FT Greek style Columns These scrolled top columns and decorative bottoms definitely make a decorative statement in your home. Hollow inside and easy to move. Very unique. Perfect for weddings. Church or house decor. Good condition with one slight mark at bottom of one column where the covering has chipped a little. We do not know what the faux cement columns are made of but the tops appear to be very heavy and more cement like. These were removed from the front entrance of a high end retail store.

Antique Vintage Shabby Wooden Distressed Newel Post Antique newel post. Measures 43 3/4" long. Square sections are 5" x 5" wide. Notch out at bottom is 7 1/2" up and 2 1/2" in. Leaving a remainder of 2 1/2" on the post. Looks to be oak ~ heavy ~ weighs 17 1/2 lbs. A bit distressed ~ a few nicks and dings. Chip on one round band and some roughness on bottom as shown in pics, all of which can be repaired rather easily. Needs refinished. But in good condition to do so. Appears to have one coat of varnish, some of which is worn away and small streaks of white latex paint. Would look great done in stain& varnish or painted for a shabby cottage chic look. Hello again. Fellow collectors! This week I am listing VINTAGE ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE. You are bidding on ONE VINTAGE VICTORIAN NEWEL POST. This was salvaged from an old late 1800's brick Iowa two story Victorian church parsonage house that was torn down. It measures 60" in height. Made from cherry wood stock. Post has been stripped very clean and is ready for stain and finish. It is missing some trim molding for the upper section as well as the cap. I used to have it but the pieces have gotten misplaced over the years and are gone now but can be easily trimmed with any other kind of old similar molding and caps aren't hard to find. Is a very nice example of Art Deco form. You be very hard pressed to know of another example in exsistance. This column is so nice it belongs in a museum somewhere. Cast Iron Street Light Victorian Era
Victorian era cast iron gas lamps. These lamps lined the streets of our Nation's capital. Washington, DC during the 1800s. They were cast in Glasgow, Scotland- known as the City of Sculpture. The artistry of that city's cast iron masters can be seen in the detailed and delicate design of the ladder bar and caps. Some were made between 1858- 1899 by George Smith& Co of the Sun Foundry in Glasgow. Scotland. The Sun Foundry was renowned for their artistic"street furniture" including such examples as the famous Paisley Fountain. The McCulloch&Co posts were crafted between 1831- 1850. Also in Glasgow. The lamp posts are all identical except for foundries and were designed for use in Washington. DC. The McCulloch post pictured has a crack or foundry casting mark on one side(see picture) The post was, at some point, filled ... moreand is in good, solid condition. We outlined the foundry marks in chalk so they were easier to see in the photos. We have a total of five. Antique Jocko Hitching Posts- Set Of 2
I have a set of two antique Jocko hitching posts. As you can see in the pictures they have had no repairs or painting done. Which honestly I would rather than the ones I see on here that have been repainted. They are cast iron and quite heavy. The sides do not line up perfectly, which from my research is proof that they are original. They have original rings in the hands of Jocko. I have seen multiple ones listed that do not have the rings. These would make wonderful additions to anybody's collection or as yard art. They are approx 11 inches tall.

5 Spectacular Late 1800s Antique Victorian Copper Stairway Banister Post Toppers
5 Beautiful copper Victorian bannister post toppers. As found. They are 9 3/4" square, and are made to accept a 6" post. They stand 8 1/2" tall. Together with the top ball they weigh a little over 13 pounds. The ball weighs 3 lbs, the base 10. One of the copper ball pieces is missing, and I have replaced it with a brass one. It will need some fitting. The 4 ball top pieces are threaded(photo#8) to accept a 5/8ths inch fine thread bolt, which I do not have. There is a foundry mark on the underneath of the bases along with the number 2, and 30177. They are all in perfect condition with no damage. I scratched one underneath in photo# 8 to show the copper. Offering this great early newel post cap in the unusual form of an open bowl or urn. Made of walnut with some applied veneer on the outside. This piece dates to the 1860s or 1870s. It is nicely milled with a double swell to the bowl. The cap stands 5 inches high and is 6 inches in diameter at the widest point. It has been used at some point, as it has 3 nail holes on the base-see photo. This piece is in really good condition; there is a crack in the veneer on the band between the two swells on the body of the bowl-see photo for detail. Otherwise. There are no stains, warping, chips or other damage. Vintage Cast Horse head hitching post/ pillar topper 21" tall aluminum
This is very unique cast aluminum horse head hitching post. It sat atop a stone entrance pillar to a drive. a tree fell on it about 15 years ago and broke the head off the base, it was silver soldered back on as you can see in one of the photos, it is almost unnoticeable. it stands 21.5" tall and the horse head is 11" long, the base is 9.5" wide. it has flaking paint and wear, this would be a very easy restore or display as is.

There are 4 of these available. As they all look the same. I just include a picture of one. Each measures 8' tall. The base is 13" square and the top is 10 1/2" in diameter. They are cast iron with each one weighing nearly 1,000 pounds. All four are in good condition needing only a sandblasting and powder coating or paint. These were support columns on the front of a local school. They are not lamp posts. They are being sold fob where they are which is zip code 52627. If they buyer sends a truck. I will have a forklift to load them. I will not be responsible after they are on the truck. These are being started at $500 each. 1800's Antique Stair Ballister NEWELL POST Victorian / Eastlake Carved Wood
For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is a very early NEWELL POST in Victorian/ Eastlake Style. It is elegantly carved on all 8 sides. This came out of an Estate in Daytona. Florida and had been converted a long time ago from Stairway Newell Post to a stand holding a large Bronze Bust. You can see in the photos were it had been converted expertly back in the day. The top section is flat and judging from the work gesso or some other plaster had been used in process of affixing the flat top to the post. The original electric wire is still coming out of the base that would have been the electrical feed for an ornate bronze lamp which would have sat on top of the Newell Post. There are a few scratches/ knicks form age but overall in very nice condition. It had a set of 4 very old caster wheels on the base when I got it but due to age, ... morethey were very worn out so I removed them. Previous owner had wooden floors and the wheels, theoretically, allowed the stand to be moved more easily rather than having to pick it up. It is a very solid wood(Oak? Walnut? but I am not sure which type it is. Appears that some of the carved recesses had gilt color paint in them at some point. A very beautiful piece! Vintage Horse Head Post Cap - Newell Post
This Horse Head has really great look. It is well crafted and beautifully proportioned. The gray is some sort of base metal. That once had a coating of brass. The brass is mostly worn off, but the traces of it make a great accent. There is a hole in the top of the piece, where it looks like a finial may have been at one time. I think this was the top of post. It could be fashioned to be reused as that, but I think it would just be a great decorator piece on a shelf or mantle, placed on a stack of books or a stand. Listed for your consideration is an authentic antique piece of architectural wood trim. Carved of oak. The front is rounded. The back is flat, designed to rest against a wall. This faux pillar or column measures 24" L x 3-1/2" W x 1-1/4" D. Used. Very good condition. No damage or repairs, but it does have some remnants of old paint on the front and old glue on the back and there are several small hairline splits to the wood. Was acquired by a family member who lived in New York City most of his life and loved frequenting estate sales. It has been packed away for nearly 50 years.
