Four 19th Century HAND CARVED Wooden Cabinetry Columns With Grapes, 21" tall
Hand carved of wood. These four matching columns were probably once part of a large cabinet or sideboard. The capitals are decorated with carved grapes and grape leaves, all very similar, but none exactly alike. The columns are 3/4 cut with flat backs. The bottoms are cut at an angle, making them 21" long in the front, and 20.5" long on the back side. All are in wonderful condition. There are a few insignificant losses to the carved grapes, nothing notable or noticeable. No significant cracks. No warping, checking or splitting. They have some varnish drips on the back side, which can be seen in the photos. The tops are slightly rounded off around the edges. Overall, they are very nice and will be beautiful in any application.

Antique Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post Top Authentic & Old Foundry Markings
Here's an antique Hitching Post topper. Made of heavy cast iron with black paint. This came from a gentleman who says it's been stored away for many years. He did say it was repainted in the 60s/70s but wasn't used after that except for display and is a genuine oldie from his family. He thinks 20s era or older. I've done all the research I can to find out a maker as there's no name listed anywhere on this but there is some distinguishable foundry marks on the sides which I've shown up close. I've poured over many. Many photos online and there's only 1 example I can find that has every detail the same as mine. It's a sold listing and can be seen by searching item#400742739080. They didn't know the makers name either but literally every detail, dimension, mold lines and all is identical. This piece stands ... morejust a wee under 10" tall. Just under 3.5" wide across ears, 8" across from mane to nose tip and the post mounting hole is 1 7/8" and this weighs 9lbs. It's a little top heavy so it doesn't stand on it's own unless you prop it a wee bit like I have it in the pics. No broken parts or repairs. Great old piece that I'm sure you will love!

Authentic Cast Iron Horse Hitching Post, Mid 19th Century Antique, New Orleans
This hitching post topper is guaranteed not to be a reproduction. Very heavy cast iron horse head never had a ring. We've seen this exact post in authentic pictures of the old French Quarter in New Orleans. Ours does not have a hallmark or any identication marks to indicate who made it. As you can see in the photos. There is no rust on the outside, and only a bit of natural oxidation can be seen inside, near the notched part where it was attached to a post. There are a couple of splatters of white paint on one side, see photo. We rescued this piece from the tack room in a Western Iowa barn. It stands 15 1/2" tall. Weighs 27 pounds, and is exactly as we found it, very clean and undamaged(except for the lack of the pole it was attached to) We can see no evidence of repairs or alterations. 19th Century Architectural Building Piece Column Etc Marble 60 Pounds
For your consideration is a 19th Century Architectural marble column etc in two pieces. I bought this years ago at an estate auction along with a ton of decorative rocks that were in the former owner's yard. I cannot guarantee it is 19th Century or maybe even older. But there is no doubt it is very very old in my opinion. It would not surprise me if it was hand cut marble considering the wavy uneven appearance of the small top piece, but I do not know for sure. I assume the small piece as illustrated in the gallery images goes with the larger one. It fits into the hole although not perfectly. Therefore, you may be buying two pieces that do not go together, but I think they probably do. The larger piece had the same patina as the smaller one with a lot of dirt on it so I started cleaning it off and got most of it. I used a hard brush on ... morethe chipped place until the white marble was visible. Since I did not know if the new owner would want the weathered patina, I decided to stop right there and let the buyer decide when he/she receives the pieces. I can see all the crystals in the white portion of the column so I know it is marble. I did not do anything with the smaller piece. The larger of the two pieces measures approximately 21" long. 6-1/2" across the side that is the widest. The top piece or smaller one measures approximately 6-1/2" long and 4-3/4" with a large chip on one side. As for condition: As previously mentioned. Both pieces have chips. The new owner can decide how much of the patina they wish to remove in the cleaning process. Please feel free to ask any questions you need to. vintage antique reclaimed wood water pipe
I have three sections of wood pipe spiral bound with metal bands. The pipe is also covered in tar. The eighty nine inch long by ten inch pipe has the most damage but can be easily fixed up. Some of the banding is bent up but most of it has just come loose. It is in sturdy condition preserved by the clay dirt it was in. the pipe was dug out with an excavator so you can be sure it has plenty of strength. All I did to the pipe is pressure wash it off. The two. One hundred and thirty seven inch long by ten inch pipe are in the best condition. Pipe A has a little damage at the male end but no damage to the banding it has just came loose. Pipe B has no damage. This pipe was used a water main for a small town.

Here we have a matching pair of wonderful antique architectural or furniture detail pieces probably hand carved and made of wood. These pieces feature beautifully carved lion or dog heads atop an"S" shaped curve with a spiral motif at the bottom. These would be great to re-purpose into a piece of furniture. Shelf supports or whatever you can imagine. The side with the nail also has some wood damage/loss on the bottom. Its certainly not perfect but isn't that the point. Its perfect do display something cool. Vintage Marble And Brass Pedestal Stand 44.5" Tall Pick Up Phoenix
Column is not solid piece of marble. Several pieces attached. This piece was obtained by a serviceman during WWII. Not sure where it originated from. Top and base are brass. Bottom is labeled Balto S 14 IN. Piece has wear consistent with age. No scratches, chips or cracks. Top has service members SSN carved in and so does the underneath of the base. ~ Huge 19c Antique Figural Lion Fragments ~ Fabulous Very old wood carved pair of roaring lions that appear to have come from a table. As there are several dowells throughout. I would date them to the late 1800's, early 1900's. These pieces are really large measuring 26" Tall and are solid. I'm not certain as to the type of wood. I have not seen anything like them in quite sometime and they are becoming more difficult to find. They would make a great brackets for a wall shelf or decorative conversation pieces. As noted, there are some missing parts here and there, however overall they look great. They could use a good cleaning and possible stain if desired. Please ask questions if interested. 2 Cool Mid Century Indoor Plaster 6 Foot Columns First picture is how they looked before being removed. There are a few nicks out of the one but can be fixed and repainted any color you'd like. The top has a groove where they had their molding set in which can be filled in or left for your own molding. Made of plaster I believe. Not concrete so these are for indoor only. Set of SEVEN(7) salvaged fluted TAPERED greek revival style porch post COLUMNS. Circa 1880-1890 vintage- salvaged in central NY state. Four of these posts have a small fluted cap- three have NO cap- THERE ARE NO BASE or plinths with this lot. Posts are hollow. But constructed with heavy, old thick dimensional lumber. Old worn. White, dry paint surface. Four posts are 104" high- they taper from 10-12.25" diameter. These four have a capital that is 11.75" diameter. The remain three columns also taper from 10-12.25" diameter. They measure 100" tall/high. They are in generally good to very good condition- They are structural and could be re-used on a new or restoration porch project.
