I was told that reupholstering does not effect value as it's a very common practice and whoever did it was smart enough to leave the underside all original. The settee and chair are hand carved. Hand inlay with many different woods and with mother of pearl! They have hand carved ball and claw feet and very unique shapes. That more then makes up for ugly fabric. They have a folk art feel and are gorgeous! These photo's don't do the beautiful inlay or these pieces justice! They have original brass antique nails and"rose-head nails" hand crafted by blacksmiths; which can be identified by irregular. Rose shaped heads. Antique American Sheraton Dressing Mirror - 19th C- 7st Street Washington D.C.
Here is a very nice antique Sheraton dressing mirror. It is marked on inside bottom of drawer. I can make out: FROM CW BOTELER STORE 7th Street WASHINGTON D.C. I haven't been able to make out the words above STORE. It is in very good antique condition. Looks to me to be all original except it has been refinished at some point in time. Nice inlay banding around the mirror and around the front of case. This measures 14-1/8" long by 6-1/2" deep by 16-1/4" high to very top. Mirror part measures 12" x 9-3/4. Feel free to ask any questions. I can ship it standard mail if buyer prefers that over priority mail for probably a lesser cost. But not guaranteed.

Antique 19th c chest of five drawers graduated American primitive dresser
A 19th century American chest of five drawers. It measures approximately 44.5" tall. 43.75" wide, and 19" deep. We do not know the maker. There is overall normal surface wear commensurate with age and use, including plenty of dings, scratches, and stains as they are found commonly on antique furniture. The surface is refinished but still has a distressed appearance. One drawer is missing its lock. The structural integrity is good and there are no major problems.
