Here's a rare and Exquisit Vintage Antique Pre-1900 Fly Fishing Reel(made of wood + brass + horn) it has a click drag which is engaged/disengaged by the brass button on the back. All gears and drag working parts are made of brass. Reel handles are made of some type of horn with brass fittings. brass button on front is to remove spool from seat. The spool and the back of the reel seat are made of unknown hardwood with some light grooves engraved into them. The back of the spool and the reel seat have some machined tin or aluminum so that dirt doesn't enter the drag assembly. Reel has no indication of manufacturer Working condition is excellent. Click drag works great- you could take this out and fish with it immediately. Spool spins freely on spindle when drag is removed. Note: one tooth is broken on the drag gear, see photos- doesn't ... moreeffect operation. Visual condition is excellent. Shows no sign of wear, except where your finger nail would rub next to the handle and wood has a scratch or two and neither are really even worth mentioning. Finish is still glossy and no bare spots- may have been just lacquered and not stained. Reel foot shows no sign of wear. Two original Heddon boxes which the lures originally came in and one INCREDIBLE find which is the smaller box that contains(4) hand-made flies that have never been used. The box still even has the plastic over the lures! I will do my best to describe whats here: 1) Heddon Deep Dive River Runt missing metal spoon and one treble hook. Heddon River Runt Spook Floater needs cleaning, Heddon Zig-Wag(much older than the others based on print on belly) Heddon River Runt, Heddon Chugger Spook missing rear treble, one MillSite branded Wig Wag in black and gold, one Dingbat that has some paint coming off and is missing the feathers otherwise this would be a high dollar lure, one"large cork shaped" lure that still has its black feathers, two jointed lures that swing back ... moreand forth with one of them(the larger) being in excellent condition and a variety of others. The two Heddon boxes are intact but are coming apart at the corners. The'little' box is the one that is 100% intact and contains the original(4) hand-made flies- by itself I have seen these go for quite a bit. Overall that describes everything. Old wooden cedar fishing reel with brass starback with green bakelite handles. The reel is in beautiful original condition and looks as if it has had little or no use. The Australian cedar woodwork is in excellent condition and has beautiful colour. Two lots of two very small holes have been drilled in the spool as per photos. The purpose of these holes I have no idea! The spool detaches easily when the knurled nut is rotated slightly- a form of Slater's latch- I hope I have that right. The design for this Santoor was originally a work of master luthier Delshad under the supervision of his grandmaster Nazemi. The most famous specialist in Santoor. Due to both Delshad and Nazemi’s demise, master luthier Bahmani finished the final product in honor of the great Delshad and Nazemi approximately 20 years ago. CAPEN MAHOGANY VICTORIAN UPRIGHT PIANO 1903
This piano was built by the Capen Piano Company of New York in the first of the 20th century. And is made of beautifully carved mahogany wood. Note the beautifully inset oval panel and carved legs and moldings. This piano is a striking piece of furniture as well as a very satisfying musical instrument. Capen pianos were manufactured by the Brockport Manufacturing Company of Brockport. New York from about 1890 until the Great Depression era. Capen was known for building elaborately carved pianos made of exotic woods, and they were quite expensive for their time. There is very little information available about the Capen Piano Company, but we do know that both Capen and Brockport were owned by the large C. Kurtzmann Piano Company of Buffalo, NY. 1903 Antique Edwardian CONCORD MISSION STYLE Upright Piano - WALNUT
Up for sale is this beautifully walnut wood antique Mission/ Arts& Crafts design Concord upright piano. Built in 1903. This fine, 3-pedaled instrument carries the Concord name which has a reputation of being very good pianos. This vintage masterpiece has all 88 keys working and intact(somewhat worn) and all play but one. This Edwardian era piano has a serial number and has been verified by a trusted antique piano company that it indeed was created in 1903. This upright has normal wear for its age plus one small scuff on the side on the bottom towards the back(see photo) Original finish; wood has a lovely medium/dark brown color. The photos might make the brown color look much lighter than it is because of the flash. Measures: L 5’ 1” x W 2’ 3 ½” x H 4’ 7 ¾” Has a fabulous sound when tuned! Bonus: Attractive old wooden piano ... morebench included! The Concord Piano Company was controlled and manufactured by the famous George P. Bent Piano Company of Chicago. Concord had factories in Louisville. KY and Chicago. Established in 1870, George P. Bent built instruments under both his own name and also under the'Concord' and'Crown' brand names. This sew tidy was the first one ever made before 1920. It stayed patent pending because the outsides of the caddy were made from cardboard and not wood. So that is why they didn't get it patented. In the later years. I am not sure when it was done and they used wood on the outsides of the caddy and then they got patented. This one here is one of those made in 1920. It was made with cardboard, and they had taped it together and it looked awlful. My daughter loves to make things, she's very good, she put the material on the caddy and the wood and then I finished it with scratch cover. Everything in the caddy goes with the caddy. There was also 2 light blue pouches that were tacked on each side of the caddy. They just don't look very pretty because the two colors clash.If you want the 2 pouches, I will send them with the caddy. They ... morehave 3 different pockets on each side. Both sides have mosaic designs made from several different naturally colored woods(each side is different) It was made in Tunbridge Wells in the county of Kent. England in the mid Victorian era. The wood is in excellent condition with no missing marquetry or other damage. The lead weight in the center is covered with a wide ribbon. It measures 1 3/4" in diameter and weighs over 1/2 pound. Plymouth Rock Maple Wood 1950's Tea Cart ( REDUCED )
What I have is a very nice older Plymouth Rock Maple Tea Cart. It is in very nice condition. 2 smaller roller wheels and 2 large wooden wheels. It measures 28" in length and 20" in width plus 10" on both sides that extend out. Which would make it 40" total when fully extended out. It is 28 1/2" in height. I also have a little tea set that will go with it. There is a full length tray that lays under the top and it has a drawer on one side. It also comes with a pull handle. It is all maple wood. Very handsome pair of faux tortoise shell knife boxes made by Maitland-Smith. No longer made. 13 1/4" high x 6 3/4" deep x 8 1/4" wide. There were never any inserts. Boxes may be used for a variety of uses. They look very pretty on a sideboard or on a desk. Orginal suggested retail price $900.00 These were our showroom floor displays. So. Not 100% perfect. Overall, near perfect condition except for the obvious scratch on the underside of one and some very petite dings here and there that only a camera can really detect.

Up for auction is an old J& P Coats Spool Cabinet Chest in the shape of a spool of cotton thread! It has some restoration work on it including the decal on the back side and the reproduction base and the twine around the body. There is a crack on the back side on the right as can be seen by the photos. The stenciling appears to be original on the front. Still. It's a rare style of spool cabinet and it's a good find!
