These are 7 old Victorian plinth blocks. They are not oak but most likely made from yellow pine. They are in original condition. The two extra blocks in picture one are not included.Four measure approx. 5 1/4 inches wide and 11 inches tall and three measure 5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. They are approx. 1 inch thick. They are in good condition for their age with a few cracks that you can see in the pictures. They each have the original nail holes. Five have been stripped and two have the original finish. These came from a Victorian home that was demolished in Falls Church. Va. in the 1970's. My parents have had them stored and they intended to use them in their house. But new ones were used instead. There are 7 carriages total. They are a sturdy wood. I am not sure what kind of wood it is. Perhaps oak. These measure anywhere from 50" long to 63" long and are all about 11" wide. The eight birds all have some surface rust and roughness from years of service but they are all still perfectly sound and ready for another 100 years of watching over your house. The burl front pocket has"L" engraved. The rack measures about 27" x 18" The wood sticks out from the wall about 3" before opening the rack. RARE antique parlor aquarium victorian conservatory architectural
Amazing 2 year restoration project of a rare 1890's Victorian conservatory/parlor aquarium. This aquarium would have sit in the parlor or conservatory(greenhouse) of a wealthy industrialist of the time period as aquariums of this type were expensive even back 120+ years ago. This beautiful aquarium is made of cast iron from the"plant shelf" down.The iron base has a beautiful swirl pattern with"faces in headdress" on each leg. The 10 gallon(approximately) hexagon aquarium is made from stamped zinc and the top filigree and urn are made from copper. The height is 58" and the width and depth is 28" x 28" The original aquarium probably had a steam powered air pump that sit on the shelf right below the plant shelf. I have this aquarium currently running with a new external pump and cartridge filter that is ... moreenclosed in a black steel powder coated"box" so as not to distract from the aquarium. I only know of 3 of these aquariums in my 35+ years of collecting these tanks. 2 of them I own and the other lives in Canada with another collector friend of mine. Restoration; Both of mine had the top zinc aquarium either missing or in rusted pieces. It took me several years to find a metal guy who took the time to make a pattern and replicate the aquarium from scratch and then we found a 125 year old tin metal ceiling company that looks like they made the actual top filigree and urn for this aquarium for the original iron company back in the 1890's! The iron base and shelf are are original although I added black slate on top of the shelf to hold the potted plants. original was wood( Painted to the original colors from the 1890's. I would like to thank my friend Paul who shared pictures of his same Parlor Aquarium so I could restore my two. Let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures. Fretwork Victorian 1880 Fancy Stick & Ball Architectural 70" long x 20 1/4" tall
Up for Auction I have an Antique Victorian Fretwork Wood Gingerbread Stick and Ball Spandrel Arch. I was told that it was taken out of an old bank that was in business in the mid to late 1800's. It was part of the fancy Tellers window. It does come in two sections and each section can stay stationary or swing from side to side. The wood is Oak. Best used at the top section of a double cased opening. Will add such charactor and charm to any decor. There is some slight damage to the piece if you look at pictures 5& 6 one small ball is missing and a few sticks have been glued back onto arch. If you look at the over all picture. It is not very obvious due to the busy pattern. I never expect a piece of this age to be perfect. It also looks to me like one of the sticks has been replaced in picture 4. Set of 2 Antique Victorian White Porcelain Picture Nails Hooks Hangers
You are bidding on a Set of 2 Antique Victorian White Porcelain Picture Nails Hooks Hangers. Each knob measures about 3/4" in diameter. The length of the nail including the white knob is approximately 2 5/8" long. One nail comes apart easily the other one I did not force it but I am sure it is an easy fix. I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks on either knob. These are old picture nails and are not perfect. These would be a great addition to anyone's collection or would be great to use. This may very well be the MOST GORGEOUS of ALL Newel Post Tops ever offered on Ebay! They are absolutely STUNNING. And are very heavily made and beautifully carved from the Victorian era. Super old, yet maintain their original patina and are in superb original condition! They measure 10" square at their widest points, 12" tall, and at their bases are 7 3/4" wide. If someone took the bottom two layers of trim off, the base bottom would measure 6" square at the smallest, lowest point.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SERVANTS OR FRONT DOOR BELL WITH BELL PULL
Please see the pictures below the description You are bidding on an antique Victorian bell. Which is possibly a servants bell, but more likely a front door bell from a large house. I am not sure if the bell is bronze or bell metal- there is no maker on it, just the number'14' cast on the side. It is mounted on a spring steel coiled strip which is fixed on a square attached to the wall. There is no square mount with the bell. Unusually, the bell still also has its square steel bell pull with rectangular shaped brass knob. This would have gone through the door frame and a wire would be attached to the hole in the end, the other end being attached to the ring on the bell. Its condition is good and original, but it needs a clean as this has not been done for many, many years. The bell has a very nice ring to it as you would expect from ... morea bronze or bell metal bell of this type. To give you an idea of size, the bell mouth is approximately 4" in diameter and the pull rod is approximately 9.3/4" long including the knob. This is a beautiful old Victorian gingerbread spandrel that measures 5' across and 20" long. There are some glue spots on the back side where it has been repaired(see photos) But this is easily covered with gel stain or paint.
