Beautiful hand engraved classic host pyx. From early 1900's. Depicting Christ holding the Eucharist. All sterling clearly marked, with a delightful soft gold wash. A very tiny dent on the rim is present. I mention it to be thorough. But it does not effect the function or closure. Still tight fit for seal and the locking mechanics are in great working order. At the base of the veil is has a red velvet and gold banding. It's VERY NICE! It is lined with a red silk-like material. It measures 20 inches x 20 inches. It's very nice and just needs a new home. Beautiful Antique Challis from 1800's Sterling Silver and Gold Plated Silver Has 3 Jewels around the cup(look like Rubies) About half way down the challis it has JESUS(with a cross between the end and beginning of the name JESUS) going around the stem.see PICTURES) Just above the base(the skirt? it has Medallions/ Coins of Saints(Marry with 11 stars) Joseph with baby Jesus) Jesus"Sacred Heart" the 4th one I believe is St. Paulus. Their is writing toward the edge which is covered by the challis itself) and that are held in from the back with brass plates bolted down by what it looks like hand made bolts(3 bolts look to have been replaced with modern ones) This Challis has Great Beautiful detail. Vintage Clergy Vestment beautiful stole and chalice veil gold silver enbossed
This is a very nice looking stole and veil set and other than the stains on the stole they are very clean and show no wear. The stains are visible make no mistake. However given the color of the stole, in light they are far less visible. I have them pictured and mainly in my last two photos. The veil is very clean and has no stains. It measures 22" by 22" The stole measures from top to bottom 39" and at the very bottom is 6" wide and is 2 1/2" wide at the top. Thank you for looking.
