Rare Worcester Chamberlain Porcelain Tureen& Stand C. 1786- 1810 Here we have one very rare Small Tureen with lid and matching under plate(rare to find all three intact) This rare little treasure with cover measuring 6 inches in height including the finial and the length is 6 inches. The teapot stand. Oval in shape measures 6 inches in length and the width is 4 3/4 inches and the inside of the lid has a hand written in gold'Chamberlain's Worcester' dating each piece from 1786- 1810. The pattern number is hand written and is number 184. The lid of the tureen is without fault with a small amount of rubbing and usual lost of gilding due to 200 years of use, to be expected appreciated. Underglaze cobalt blue with overglaze reds, peach and gold decorations. Made in England during the mid-19th century, around 1840. No discernible maker's marks, but this could be Davenport. The tureen and stand both have the number"2622" on the undersides. Impressed"6" or"9" on the tureen. Impressed letter"H" and number"4" on the stand. The tureen has very minimal staining on the top rim and a few light signs of wear. No detectable glaze crazing on the tureen. The lid and stand both have light to moderate glaze crazing. The stand has light staining, and there are scratches or marks to the glaze on the underside edges.these marks may be glaze"skips" from the original manufacturing. The lid rim has a couple of slightly rough areas. None of the pieces show any significant paint loss to the decorations, just a few light signs of wear and small scratches. A stunning little set! This item up for auction today is a lovely antique tureen stand. The stand is 7 1/4" across and 7/8" high and was used to catch spills from the tureen and I would guess. As a decorative piece to complement the Tureen. The stand shows a colorful picture of"Shakespeares House Henley St Stratford on Avon. Please see photos. The stand is in very good to excellent condition: no chips. Cracks or crazing. There may be a some gold loss on the lower edging- some gold may be lighter in a couple of spots(I'm not sure) There also is a tiny glaze"bump" in the pottery on the border. It is too small to show up in a photo. However, but I wanted to mention it. There is some variation in the white color- some areas are pearl white and some appear to be satin. Gorgeous antique while soup tureen- I would date this back to the 50's/60's; appears to have NEVER been used for anything other than decorative purposes- hand wash. I wouldn't put this in a dishwasher! Elegant to use for most any dinner occasion or for entertaining!

The Tureen is done in the very desirable and well know Flight Barr& Barr Pattern. Purple Vine with a nice Rope Border and Gold Gilding throughout. The Tureen is a very large and I am sure quite Rare example of this Pattern being a full size Soup Tureen measuring 10" tall by 12" wide overall or 7-1/2" tall at the rim and 12" wide across the large Under Tray and will hold approx 12 cups. The Tureen displays beautifully and is in very good condition for such a large piece of this age with the Tureen showing some well done restoration to both handles and a chip to the finial on the lid, but no cracks and just overall light wear. The Under Tray is in excellent condition with one small chip to the underside but no other damage, cracks or repairs. The Tureen is unmarked as many of the large pieces in a service never were but this is a well known Flight Barr and Barr Period Worcester pattern, plus we have more pieces from the same service listed in

This auction is for a beautiful Chinese Export famille verte small sauce tureen and stand. The piece measures about 6 1/2" across and the underplate measures about 8 1/4" across. The set is in wonderful condition for being so early with out chips cracks or restorations. It is all hand painted in a beautiful array of colorful birds and florals. I believe the center bird is a bird of Paradise. There are gold rose shaped handles and finial. Chinese Cloisonne Footed Tureen Bowl W/Lid 1820's Double Handles & Wood Stand
This is a great Estate piece of a Chinese Cloisonné Footed Tureen Bowl W/Lid on a Wood Stand dated to 1820's. All Enamel in beautiful colors in wire with a blue back ground. This does have Double stemmed handles doomed lid with matching applied handle having brass chrysanthemum buttons. This has Good Luck Medallions and geometric border and bats thru out, Lotus blossoms and Shou symbols around bulbous body. And longevity symbols also and Swatikas in white and yellow enamel which means"100,000 blessings for you and scaling pattern on all 3 handles also. This is a brass mold and has alittle movement in Lid because of use and age, so it does not fit perfect any more but you can see in 1 picture. The lid has 1 area where some ground enamel has cracked out and by Buddhist symbol on body 1 area where enamel has also cracked out over ... moretime. There is a blue back ground on underside and a wired pattern of a Lotus, this is 10 inches tall with lid and 13 1/2 inches across handle to handle& 5 1/2 inches deep. This is a very Rare piece of Cloisonné Art and history, again this is not in perfect condition but gorgeous and a large piece.
