Wood painted tray top black with gold trim and lovely floral design in the center. Tray measures 23 3/8" x 17 1/8" It show some paint wear please see photo but tray is in great structural shape. The back of the piece still has the original labels. One reads Furniture Stylists. Chicago Illinois. There is a spot on the tray for the name of the artists and decorator there is pen there but not readable. The second sticker or tag is partial I believe it says Guaranteed Stain Proof Feather weight tray. The stand is sturdy with some paint loss as would be expected. It stands approx. 21" high and is 16" wide. The stand appears to be original to the piece because it too has a Furniture Stylists Chicago Illinois partial sticker(see photos) This is a wonderful almost antique vintage piece.

This stand is of heavy cast iron with an attractive finial which attaches the two sets of legs. To store, the finial screws off and the legs separate. Each set of legs measures about 14.25" wide by 28" high. The variations of expansion are indescribable, but, for instance, its top measurements could be 11.5" square to 13" x 9" As with most any antique. Vintage Toleware Painted Metal Tray & Folding Table Base Coffee Table
Up for bids is estate find of a vintage metal toleware hand painted tray and folding table base. The tray is just gorgeous with beautiful handpainted pansies in varying colors. The tray is in good condition other than a couple of very small spots of paint loss as pictured. There is a lovely border of fleur de lis type design in gold. The tray is attached to the folding legs with suction cups(that look to be newer) so it is easy to remove for storage or use as a tray. This is a beautiful vintage piece!
