Large & Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Toleware Bowl ~ Pennsylvania Dutch
Here is a beautiful antique. Pennsylvania Dutch, hand-painted, toleware bowl or basin, with a great motif of stylized flowers with leaf y stems. Both inside and out. The decoration goes all the way around the bowl and has great color and style. This bowl has a great rolled rim. And it measures 16" in diameter on top. 11" in diameter on the bottom, and is 5 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition, although slightly out of skew. There is no rust on this piece, although there is gentle edge wear consistent with being antique. The bowl is made of five pieces of heavy-gauge tin or steel all welded to gether. A great piece of Pennsylvania toleware in a rare shape and size! Please note. The shipping quoted is for the lower 48 states.

Hand Painted Pennsylvania Dutch Toleware Tin Milk Pail. I can just imagine the child that could have carried their milk in this milk pail to school. Perhaps sitting the milk pail in a near by creek or stream to keep their milk cold. Bottom of pail has lots of dents. The milk pail has wonderful crazing as you can see in the photo's(sorry for the glares) Some paint loss and lots of dings and dents. If you collect early pieces of toleware you will like this piece. Measures 7 3/4" 8 1/2" including the bent handle on the lid) with the bail handle up 11 12" x 5" bottom. I tried to remove the lid(to photo) and was unable to without chipping more of the paint. Item is in wonderful shape and signed by artist with a lovely flourishing flower with greens golds browns yellow. Artist name is Runzel. No chips or cracks wooden paint job looks fantastic woodbox is on a base total what length about 4 1/2 inches all around the square box measures 11 inches straight across box measures 2 3/4 inch.inside the box on the bottom is an iridescent looking blue purple.I'm pretty sure it's pen ink,refer to photos for this

Here is a wonderful antique PA Dutch bowl. Found in the New England area. It lovingly shows its age around the rim with slight chipping. The colors are vivid and well preserved, showing flowers, hearts and roosters, for a piece thats probably from the 1800's. It is constructed from 4 metal sections measuring 12" diameter on top, 8 3/4" diameter on the bottom and 4" tall. A great addition to your warm and cozy home. Questions will be answered promptly. Scratches, a small hole where it was hung& an out of round spot of about 3 inches. Check out the pictures.
