It is also is about 1 1/8” deep. The handles left and right are circular rolled under. Please refer to the scan of the underside for reference. The stenciled design in cream. Green and red paint on both left and right sides is beautiful and carries over along the top and bottom sides. There appears to be an under wash of a copper color that shows through the paint in various areas and quite a lot on the reverse side. The piece of older tape on the reverse mentions the fact that at one time the piece had four balled feet, one at each corner. These however are no longer present. The character of the tray does not suffer with them missing. ... moreThe seams of the tin are tight with the exception of one ¾”slight split in the tin seam running from the base of the tray diagonally to the top corner. Nothing really serious. There are a couple of older light scratches in the base area. A great addition to any Toleware, Tole, Tin Painted Tin, Tableware, Primitive or Americana collection. Large Vintage Cream Tole Painted Toleware Serving Tray w Handles Flowers in VGC
This is a beautiful tole painted. Metal serving tray featuring gorgeous flowers and gold scrolls. The tray is large measuring 16.5 inches tall(up and down) by 25 inches(side to side) I sell a lot of tole tv trays and they are usually in more distressed condition. This tray, while not perfect, has only minimal wear to the tray itself-very few and light scratches. Unfortunately the handles have some wear to the outer edges. One has light wear and the other has more paint loss/tarnishing-no rust though. Back side shows a very minor dent and only minimal wear. Please magnify and see all photos. Apologies for the shadows. In beautiful condition is a hand painted 14" diameter Toleware serving tray. Painted with a traditional cottage rose floral design. This tray also has beautiful cutout work along the sides and the cutouts for the handles as well and is just under 2" The bottom of the tray still has the remnant of the label and a#49 sticker. There are no scratches or paint missing but there is some markings on the edge that seems to be a white paint type mark but it could have been purchased that way. This Pilgrim Art oval toleware tray has the traditional black matte finish. It has a rustic country floral motif of large and small pink. Yellow, and purple flowers with surrounding green leaves and stems. Also, as a finishing touch, there is gold painted rim. Other features of this toleware tray are cut out handles on either end and a raised open work border. On the back of the tray is the light green, stamped company logo shaped like an artist's paint palate. Inside of the palate is written: Hand Painted_Tole_By Pilgrim Art_No. 155 Measurement of the base of the tray(I only measured the longest possible points and widest possible points) Longest Points 15.5" Widest Points 11.5" The border of the tray extends slightly outward so the tray measures a little larger from the rim. Height of the border is 1.25" Note: This vintage ... moretoleware tray has maintained most of its paint and is still in wonderful condition after many years of use. It has a few. Barely visible dings, scratches, and dark areas on the front of the tray that are more visible with the camera than the eye. So, I have tried to take close-ups of these areas, although they make the blemishes seem larger than what they really are. The largest and most visible mark is on the back of the tray. Vintage 1950s Octagonal TOLE WARE style Green Hand painted Tray with handles
This is a beautiful well-loved TOLE WARE style tray. I can not find any markings on it- so not 100% positive it is a Nashco tray- but it has all of the characteristics of one. The tray measures 18.5 by 13.5 inches- it is octagonal- There are scratches and some rusting marks on both sides- but that adds to the charm and shows how well-used and love this was at one time. The green patina is very calming and the flowers- painted around the edge of the bottom are yellow. Pink and pale grey-blue.

Vintage Metal Hand Painted Tole Tray 22.5 x 16.5 Pilgrim Art Signed Handles
This beautiful Tole Tray has lattice work around the edges. Two handles for carrying, and is pretty heavy(over 5 pounds I'd guess) It is marked on the back Hand Decorated Tole by Pilgrim Art no. 150. Black background with white floral/green tendrils, gold around the trim. Depth is 2 inches and measures approx. 22.5 long by 16.5 wide. Only flaw are some scratches on the back in a few places and edges-no show from the front. It must have scraped something because it looks never used. Buyer to pay within 3 days of auction's end.
