Three Greek pottery vases to be offered from this estate were once the property of William Randolph Hearst; one comes originally from George Waddington(1793-1869) Dean of Durham Cathedral, one from Alfred Bourguignon, the late 19th century Neapolitan collector and dealer, and one from the Ruesch Collection dispersed in Switzerland in 1936. The subject is inspired from the nature and it depicts with modern style two small deers with background, an branch. It is signed lower left with the characteristic monogram of artist in Greek" ΠΒ" and is in wooden frame, ready you hang him in your space. Antique and original circa 1900 ceramic stove tile. With raised image of woman, or a Greek god or goddess. This tile measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter. It has no maker's mark, but has design elements like the art tiles of Beaver Falls Art Tile, Low Art Tile Works, or the Provendential and Trent Tile companies. The back is a flat white and unglazed surface. This tile shows wear consistent with its age and use, with some light crazing, edge roughness and surface scrapes.
