Antique Vintage Subway Tile Bullnose 6-Inch Trim 'Robertson' Early 1900's
Please note: the price listed is for one piece of tile(there are 12 available for approx. 6 linear feet) All of them have crackled glaze and some staining under the glaze along the top edge(see pics) Also. Sealing is recommended if these will be installed in a wet location. Please contact me with the quantity needed and I can give you a shipping estimate. These are'Robertson Art Tile' bullnose caps. I'm not sure of the age as these were found in a mixed lot of tile. They were in business from 1892-1920, but these are most likely from the very early 1900's. They are approx. 6" long with about a 1/2" offset between the top and bottom edges. The overall thickness is 1 1/2" and they will project from the wall 1 1/2" Most have a few tiny flea-bites on the edges and/or light scratches. Overall. They are in nice ... moreshape and have barely any thinset on them for a clean installation. Any edge grout will be removed prior to shipping, they will pretty much be ready to install. Check photos for condition. As far as color. I would say these are an antique/off-white. I do have scraps to send out as swatches for $3 if needed. Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask any questions.

Brown one is a beautiful U.S.E.T. co. Art Tile. Mold marked on back. Approximately 6" square 1/2" deep. Never been installed. 2 small flea bite chips on front edges. Gorgeous glaze in an translucent mottled brown color. Glaze is crazed. Some scratches to glaze surface which can be seen on photo. 2nd tile is a beautiful subway Robertson Art Tile. Mold marked on back. Approximately 3" w x 6" long x 3/8" deep. Never installed. No chips. Gorgeous glaze in an translucent mottled beige tones to mimic stone. Glaze is crazed. Lastly is a A.E. Robertsons factory was right across the river from Trenton New Jersey.Home to the Trent tile company and providential tile works. Marked on the backs with a number 1901. That could be a model number or the year that they were produced. They each measure 1.5" x 6" x 0.5" thick A very nice project group with no major flaws. Only very small chips and nice,uniform,fine crazing. Very well matched. These will be shipped with a medium flat rate priority box. For those in the north east. 60 Robertson Antique Ceramic Art Tiles Victorian Spider Web Medallion Majolica
lot of 60 antique ceramic tiles made by the Robertson tile company of Morrisville Pennsylvania. The tiles are marked on the backs.They Each measure 2-1/8"x 4-1/4" x 1/2" thick. Victorian spiderweb pattern or medallion in a green.Ivory and peach to orange glaze. Fantastic project group with about 40 of the tiles being nearly perfect. There are 10 others that have very small chips- please see 5th photo. And then there are 10 that have glaze misses. These can be seen in the fourth photo and are on a corner or two corners of the tile. This occurs during the second firing when the glaze doesn't flow all the way to the edge. The backs have been cleaned of all mortar and grout and these are ready to install. A rare opportunity to obtain a large group of decorative antique tiles. Antique Trent & Robertson Fireplace Tiles Lot White Trim
Antique lot of 45+ tiles. Some are marked Trent and some are marked Robertson Design. There are 11 and 3 halves that are blue painted with pink tiles measuring 3" by 6" 8 and 5 halves of white tiles measuring 3" by 6" 6 tiles measuring 6" by 2" 10 of a white trim measuring 6" by 1 1/2" 7 red tiles measuring 4 1/2" by 1" one is broken.
