The fabric is a vintage replacement deep cranberry velvet and has no holes. Rips or tears or stains but does have a couple of areas where the"nap" of the velvet seems flattened.these are showing up as the darken areas in the pictures on the sofa back center and the arm area. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around ... morethe front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Perfect for that man cave, patio, or pool house, this couch makes a great statement and has that cushion color that screams mid century. The couch itself has some scuffs and scrapes, although nothing major. There are what we think are minor cracks(see final photo) but these do not seem to affect the integrity of the couch itself. The bottom spring cloth is ripped in places, but suitable(and included) foam sheets prevent any damage to the cushions. Vintage Scandinavian sofa. Attributed to Folke Ohlsson for Dux. Heavy cotton upholstery in soft tones of white, grey, lavender and cream. Curved back and exposed wooden frame make this sofa a perfect example of mid century Danish design. In very good vintage condition. With light wear due to age. Some scuffing to the wooden feet, as pictured. Fabric has some small snags and three or four droplet-sized stains, but none noticeable. A typical example is pictured. Cushions are upholstered on both sides, with neither side showing uneven wear. The rear cushion springs on the right side have softened in comparison to the left, but it is not noticeable visually. This is a very nice vintage white wicker chaise lounge. It is very well constructed. With springs and a bottom cushion. It had a back cushion but I washed it and it didn't make it! It is hard to measure due to the shape, but measures approximately 63" in length from the top to the bottom edge of the cushion. 38" from the floor to the top of the back, and 24" across at the foot base. Please ask for specific items to be measured and I will do my best. Some of the brackets underneath are loose and need to be tightened. There is one spot on the front bottom that needs to be repaired where some of the wicker is broke(see pic) I think a bit of glue will fix this problem. Naturally there are signs of wear for it's age. Gorgeous Mid Century Modern SECTIONAL SOFA Couch This Gorgeous Sofa is Quality Constructed by the Famous ROWE Furniture Co. First in Fashion" in 1961. It is made from solid wood and it is Solid. Firm and NO Wobbling. The Frame in in Great Condition and the springs are 100% in tack and they do not sag. The Upholstery is also Great Condition with NO fading. But somewhere along the line someone allowed a cat to scratch the upholstery. There is three areas that I would like to address. There is one area in the back along a corner. but is not noticeable because it is in the back. There are also a couple of areas in the front. but once again almost unnoticeable. See Photos. Vintage 8-Foot LONG Elegant Brocade and Wood Couch This lovely brocade couch is unusually long. I do not think I've seen a regular couch this long. It measures about 8 feet one inch(97 inches) long. 30 inches high(the back side) and 31 inches deep(from front to back) The seat is one long movable cushion that has always been covered to keep it pristine. The rest of the couch has usually also been covered to keep the material looking nice. The inside of the two sides(arms) have extra small cushions for your comfort. This couch was professionally reupholstered some years ago. And the coloring fits into most design styles. There is a tag on the bottom of the couch that indicates Moyers Upholstery in Fredericksburg VA used 100% cotton on 7-28-1976. The fabric is still great, and the foam has minor hardening. VINTAGE FAINTING COUCH RED BROCADE FABRIC SMALLER GR8 CONDITION NEWLY UPOLSTERED
This is a really great piece because it is smaller than most and can fit in to any area. It measures 65" x 21" x 18 1/2" at highest point. It was just reupholstered. Looks beautiful. Here are it's flaws. There is a seam going across where the slant meets the pillow. That seam looks like it might not be strong. I would reinforce it. There is a bit of chunk on the bottom as noted in the picture. I like to list everything. If you have further questions please ask.
