One is marked on the bottom REGINA WARE GERMANY Handpainted. The other one is marked the same except it is was painted RESINA instead of REGINA. I see one tiny 1/16"1/18" surface chip at the bottom base edge of the one painted RESINA. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me but I thought I'd mention it. VINTAGE 2 3/4" DECORATIVE SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS These Salt and Pepper shakers do not have any wording or marks to identify a brand or maker. They are made of a ceramic or porcelain type of material and appear to be hand painted. They stand 2 3/4" high. They are 7 1/2" around at the widest. The bottoms have small cork holders in them. One of the corks is damaged and needs support of paper towel to help hold it in. Both of these have multiple holes on top for salt and pepper to come out. No cracks. Chips or other visable damage. TWO SETS OF VINTAGE/ANTIQUE SALT& PEPPERS The first set is from Japan. Handpainted, no chips or cracks. The handpainting is very clear, intricate in some cases. The second pair shows a set of scales- no cracks or chips. The small white spot on the salt shaker seems to be more a spot that missed the glaze. Hand painted. On the bottom is a sticker that says Ipco Ceramics. Is the ipco just a part of the name? I don't know. These would be a lovely addition to your collection. No cracks or chips- perfect! These appear to have never been used. The tall shakers appear to be early Nippon; hand painted blue and rust colored flowers and leaves on a gold iridescent lustre ware. No cracks or chips. Vintage CAPODIMONTE Small Salt & Pepper Shakers-1 1/2" Tall
Beautiful Capodimonte Salt& Pepper Shakers. The flowers are bright yellow on the top of the shakers. The rose is a salt shaker and there is one hole through the rose as the exit for the salt. The peppershaker is. I believe, a chrysanthemum. There is green foliage under the flowers and the pink shakers with a gold rim near the base. They both have what I believe is their original stoppers that feel like they are rubber. Both shakers stand approximately 1 1/2" from the bases to the top of the flowers. There are some spots which I thought had breakage but upon further checking it looks like when they were painted the paint did not get to those small areas.
