This is a stunning antique 18th century handmade bronze saint relic pendant. it has its original wax seal that is visible when the back part of the bronze relic is removed. it is a bit worn and cracked but extremely old. the relic has the name of the saint written on a very small piece of paper and has a piece of real skin and linen backing under the glass. the casing is completely handmade and hammered from bronze and has a circular hook at the top to be able to wear as a charm. it has a wonderful patina from age and measures 1 1/8 inches by 3/4 inches. there are some very small dings but is very old. This beautiful. Very rare relic with statue reliquary of Saint Therese of Lisieux was obtained at an estate sale of an elderly French lady in Westchester County, New York. The relic is a piece of the original coffin Saint Therese was buried in 1897, in 1918 her body was exhumed and the original wood coffin was replaced by a metal one. The reliquary itself is metal, says made in France on back and measure 6 inch high, wax seal intact. The auction is only for the reliquary and relic, not the pictures in some of the pictures. ~ Nice Example of 1950s Saint's Relic ~ ~ Santa Maria Goretti pendant relic ~ Santa Maria Goretti was born October 16th. 1890 and died July 6th, 1902 ~ just 11 years old. She was canonized in 1950 and is the patron saint of victimized women. This pendant contains a drop of blood on a small 5 petal flower in the center of a three leaf clover made of gold thread. Typically the relics of this era were presented in this way. There is a paper label inside the locket which reads: S. Maria Goretti V. M. On the back there is a stamped image of Santa Maria with the inscription: Santa Maria Goretti PPN. Inside the locket the relic is sealed with red sealing wax and red thread. The brass housing is mottled& worn and missing one screw, but the pendant and the actual relic are in excellent condition. RELIQUARY RELIC WAX SEAL ANTIQUE BOX WITH MULTIPLE CHRISTIAN LABELED RELICS
This early reliquary has multiple labels inside but I am not an epert so I can't read them. The glass has been broken on this early piece and three decorative bone pieces will need to be reglued into place. I found this as it is. And am passing it on as it is. There is a wax seal on the back that has never been broken. there is some damage to the frame as can be seen in the pictures. Please look closely at all images. I am selling this item at no reserve as shown. There are woven metallic pieces inlaid and beautiful accents in this shadowbox. It is not in perfect condition, but it is gorgeous. The outer frame measuements are 12 3/4" high and 11 1/4" wide.

You are bidding on a bronze Thames River found Agnus Deis Bishops seal ring with a lamb bearing a cross and flag impression; with Latin lettering around the circumference. It is in a USA size 8. This ring has been professionally cleaned of encrustations; and was acquired from an old UK collection. Historical Significance: Lamb of God(Latin: Agnus Dei) is a title for Jesus that appears in the Gospel of John. It appears at John 1:29. Where John the Baptist sees Jesus and exclaims, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Although"Lamb of God" refers in Christian teachings to Jesus Christ in his role of the perfect sacrificial offering. Christological arguments ... moredissociate the term from the Old Testament concept of a"scapegoat, which is a person or animal subject to punishment for the sins of others without knowing it or willing it. With this auction you will received: 1 relic of St. Marguerite Marie Alacoque in oval filagreed edged frame with part to hang from a chain/ribbon. Measures: approx. 1 1/4 x 1 inch. Looks like 800 stamped onto the silver backing. I opened the back on Feb. 25 and found the wax seal in place. Please see in Photograph 3. 1 print of the saint. Print is in good condition. Paper it is attached to has tears at bottom(please see photographs) In frame, tears do not show. Fits the 5 x 7 frame which is included. 1 document of this relic from the Vatican and dated MCLX.
