Estate Sale Find: RARE Padre Pio Statue with Relic
I obtained this statue of Padre Pio with a relic attached at and estate sale of a French Catholic lady in Westchester. New York. Her family said she had a great devotion to him, they thought she got it on a trip to Italy to visit San Giovanni but they were not sure exactly when she got it. The statue is made of some very hard plaster composite, is 5 inches high, and the relic is attached to the statue, I have given pictures of both sides of the relic.

Padre Pio of Pietrelcina Italy where he spent his whole life including the time when he became a Franciscan Capuchin Monk& lived for over 50 years with the Stigmata of Our Lord's Passion being the holes in his hands. Feet& side where the spear pierced Our Lord. Padre Pio was an extraordinary man, monk devoted entirely to Our Lord, Jesus Christ. He was so widely known, he lived his life in the holiness that he was so happy to receive the Stigmata from Our Lord, in his own way carry the pain, suffering, bloodshed all for the love& glory of God.
