Wonderful marked Chinese export silver tea caddie. High quality silver. The mark is to me unknown, but the caddie was most likely made during the first half of the 20th c. There are som minor dents to the base and a small dent to the upper part beside the opening, there are two lids, one that closes the caddie tight and one as an outer lid. There are peonies and chrysanthemum flowers woderfully depicted, very high quality tea caddie! The weight is 225 grammes and thats equal to 8 ounces, it is 11,2cm high and 8,3cm in base diameter. Antique PAIR Chinese Export Sterling Silver Decanters NICE !
Lovely Pair of Chinese decanters with silver overlay. Very nice pair! I will describe each seperately and without the top. The top could fit on either and is a bit loose since it would need a new cork. Top measures about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. It has a large ding on the top almost the width of a quarter and a very small ding on the side. The larger of the two bottles measures approximately 9 inches tall and has a dragon decoration on it with the silver in-lay. Pretty fluted top. Glass bottle marked 866 HAIC UGB and has three rectangular maker marks on the bottom silver rim(see upclose photos please) Silver is in nice condition with the exception of a half of an inch indentation on bottom ring right near the makers mark. The smaller of the two bottles measures almost 8 inches tall and has a floral decorative design. Bottom of bottle ... moreis same mark as the one above. Antique Early 1800s Chinese Export Porcelain Mug Nice Size w/Figures Scenic MINT
This is an outstanding Chinese Export mug decorated in figures and scenic designs. This piece came from a high end New York estate. I know the people well that ran this estate and I can say unquestionably that they are experts who specialize primarily in Chinese antiques. I was told that its time period dates from the late 1700's to the early 1800's. This is classic Chinese porcelain at its finest. This mug is made of a thick non see through. Or opaque porcelain material. The designs were hand drawn and painted. The scenic and figural Chinese designs on this piece are as nice as it gets. The use of colors and the thick glazes are outstanding. The colors are bright and clear and there are many of them. Actually, too many to list. You can both see and feel the raised glazes of these colors throughout this piece. Even the top interior ... moreis accented with thick raised hand painted Oriental designs. The fancy handle is gorgeous and resembles many made by Meissen. Did Meissen copy the Chinese or did the Chinese copy Meissen? In any case, it has a lovely twisted handle which connects to the cup in four spots onto four large raised porcelain leaf and berry designs which are trimmed in gold gilt. There is also gold gilt on the back of the handle and in various spots throughout this entire mug. The designs are many and intricate. Some are subtle, such as the mountain areas, and many are thicker, more raised and pronounced. All appear to have been painted over the top of the thick glossy white porcelain. The porcelain itself, was extremely well made. In the very last picture I have shown a normal cup or mug next to this one so that you can get a better idea of its size. As you can see, this is a good size piece which is much larger than todays average mug or cup. I have taken several pictures for your better understanding. An attractive set of five Chines An attractive set of five Chinese export porcelain tea bowls and five saucers. Decorated in blue, c. 1800 description: On offer is this highly decorative set of five scaloped Chinese porcelain saucers and five cups. Hand decorated under glaze in deep blue on milky white. The saucers show an ornate design of elaborate flower patterns, alternating landscapes, in ten reserves, surrounding a circular flower pattern, within a continuous border. The backs of the plates are decorated with foliage and marked with a single symbol mark within concentric circles. The tea bowls have a near matching decoration. All five bowls are marked with a Kangxi four character mark. They all have a flower decoration on the inside base and floral and landscape patterns on the outside, divided in reserves. There is some variety in the ... moredecoration of the items. As visible on the pictures. However, decoration varieties are often found on groups of Chinese export ware. The condition of the items is very good. Three saucers are perfect or near perfect, having some very small rim chips/frittings. One saucer has a rim chip, associated with a very faint and short rim hairline. One saucer has a rim repair(see picture) The bowls all have small frittings/minor rim chips; four have a faint rim hairline, hardly visible with the naked eye. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the wonderful quality and the condition of the objects. This group displays very nicely These antique cups and saucers were made in China in the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century. C. 1800. The piece as a whole measures 5 ¼ inches or 13 cm high. And is 4 ¼ inches at its widest. This unique teapot features a footed six sided porcelain insulator that the teapot sits in. The insulator is hand painted with full figures of woman standing with different auspicious objects. There are 4 metal loops on the top which has string for hanging? The teapot has two wire handles at the top which lift the pot out of the insulator. The teapot is footed and also similarly painted with a beautiful young woman seated on a leaf. Rare Chinese Export Silver Dragon Candlestick, Wo Shing of Shanghai. Circa 1880
This is a fantastic quality Chinese export silver dragon candlestick. Made by Woshing of Shanghai between 1870 and 1900. This candlestick features an unusual. But very desirable design. The silver base is of classic circular form, with swirling clouds and stippled background. Standing upon the clouds is a pearl chasing dragon, leaping upwards towards the pearl with supports the the candle holder itself(with removable wax pan) The candlestick comes complete with its original carved wooden base. This pieces features some of the very finest casting and tooling. The Dragon features bulging eyes. Long curving horns, a curly mane and jagged claws. The dragon's body is covered in fantastic, lifelike scales. This piece is in very good condition as I hope should be evident from the photos. There appears to be a small split in the edge of the dragon's'fire' ... moreand the wooden base base some missing fretwork. But it is not very noticeable. Otherwise this piece has survived 100+ years very well. It could probably do with a polish, but I will leave that decision up to the buyer.

Condition: the overall condition is excellent. The split can be repaired very easily by any jeweler and since it is on the seam of the silver box/ match case you will never notice if one decided to repair. I recommend leaving the 150+ year old item alone and not repairing, Original condition is always better. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. SUPERB LATE 18TH CENT CHINESE EXPORT MOP& SILVER BOX Presented is an exquisite Chinese export box. The octagonal box is composed of mother of pearl panels carved with elaborate designs of flowers and leaves. The top of the box is carved with a shield surrounded by a similar pattern of flowers. The top and bottom of the box are bordered with bands of silver. With silver pin or rivets holding everything in place. The quality of the carving on the mother of pearl is superb. The box was made in the late 1700s or the early 1800s, 1790 to 1820s. Chinese export boxes of this type are quite rare. Usually they are much smaller than this and not as elaborately engraved. Not only is this the largest Chinese mother-of-pearl box of this type which I have ever seen. It also has ... moresome of the finest engraving and certainly the most engraving. Even more amazing is that after approximately 200 years not a single panel has broken or chipped. The box is in great overall condition. Originally there would have been another silver band that went around the center of the box. As well has a piece of steel on the inside of the box that would have arched over and made the cover spring up. These could easily be replaced, but there is really no need to. The box looks wonderful the way it is. The lid opens easily when the button on the front of the box is pushed in, and it closes tightly. The mother of pearl panels are in fabulous shape with no chips and no cracks. There are no repairs. The mother of pearl box is 1 5/8 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches tall. On offer is a really nice. 19th century Rose Medallion footed fruit bowl, It is quite large, measuring 14" x 11" x 3.5" Classic Rose Medallion with overglaze enamel painting of reserves of fruit and flowers alternating with scenes of domestic life. The rim is scalloped. It sits on a large foot. Almost 1.75" high which is painted with a rose medallion border and there are four floral reserves on the underside. Fine Antique Chinese Export. Solid Silver Card Tray. Skillfully hand made by top Chinese Silversmiths Tuck Chang from their premises at 67 Broadway. Shanghai in around 1890. Beautifully all over hand tapped design is typically Chinese but the applied scrollwork around the edge caters more to western taste. It weighs an impressive 122g and is b eautifully proportioned at 160mm x 117mm or 6 and 1/4 inches by just over 4 and 1/2 inches. Good quality. Beautiful and unusual piece of Chinese export silver treasu re from the late 19th century.
