Appears to be all hand built with dovetailed joints and very old hardware. Possibly the original stain showing nicely aged patina. Latch is not working looks to be missing a piece on it so it is not working. There are a couple age cracks in the bottom of the chest which is to be expected from the age of this piece. It is 17" long 13" high and 11" deep still in solid condition. Rare find and the only one I've ever had like this, thanks for looking!

We are selling this large. Celan, American-made, art nouveau influenced, domed-top, ornate pressed tin clan trunk from 1880-1890. This piece of antiquity will stand out in any setting and this wedding or bride's style chest comes with the original pine hat compartment and the interior pictures are original in in good order. There is some wear and signs of age which has been left untouched so as to preserve the originality and antique character of the piece. The leather on one of the side handles is split but just adds to the character and the images of the trunk's use. This trunk measures roughly 32" x 22" x 19" and would be great at the foot of the bed or any character and function to any room. Offering for your consideration a sweet antique Victorian box with a double domed glass top and cloth flowers. The little flowers are affixed between the two layers of glass. They are framed on all four sides by a little ribbon of fine paper lace. The outside of the box is covered with orange paper. The interior is hinged and the hinge is in perfect working order. Antique 19thC English Figured Walnut, Ormallieu & Faux Ivory Domed Top Tea Caddy
Measuring 9" wide. 5 1/2" deep and 7 1/2" high. This Caddy has a very striking appearance and is original, just wear commensurate with age. Being over 150 years old is not much to show for such age. There are a couple of Cabachons that may be replacement and the key is non functioning but can be used as a blank to cut from. This caddy would have been made for wealthy gentry and not available to the everyday public's pocket or purse. An Antique Victorian Tunbridge Ware Domed Top Rosewood Wooden Box
An early Victorian mid 19th Century Tunbridge ware box. It is of rectangular form with an attractive domed lid. The panels are in rosewood and it has been nicely inlaid in the Tunbridge style. The sides of the box feature roses and foliage in tapestry style. To the lid there is a central depiction of a ruined country manor surrounded by a repeating geometric pattern. The interior is lined in a light gold satin. The box comes with a key and tassel but these are for decorative purposes as the lock does not function and the locking tang is damaged. To the underside it has a red paper liner which may well be original At this size the box could have been used for a number of purposes and was quite possibly for documents or scrolls. Victorian Style Stationary Box Domed Top Floral Interior Gold Dresden Decoration
This beautiful little domed top stationary box was found at Shepton Mallet flea market and dates from around 1840- 50. The leather had seen better days and the inside was also very distressed but the shape intreged me and I knew just the paper I was going to use. The inside is decorated in a miniature Georgian print and then bordered with die cut gold leaf Dresdon trims. The outside has been decorated using a mixture of Stamperia classic decoupage paper and Victorian style die cut relifs then laquered to a high standard using at least 30 coats of matt varnish. My mum belongs to the decoupage guild and decorates these antique box's but if anyone would like to know where to get the paper please just let us know and we will give you the supplier This is a one off antique piece which has been covered and laquered by hand. Desirable small size"Camel" Barrel Top Trunk. Fully Restored. Unknown Maker. Very similar to a 1909 trunk catalog reference, available from current owner. The interior is lined with white acid free paper and wheat paste was used as the adhesive. This is how it would have originally been done in circa 1900. The insert is original and recovered in white paper. The bonnet or hat compartment and parasol compartment lids are fiberboard as original. The lock does not work and key is missing. All nails/hardware used during the restoration are time period correct(square cut nails) It measures 18" x 28" x 16"

The trap is marked at its front latch with an identifying sign: LOBSTER TRAP. The trap is covered inside with some maritime netting to secure the smaller lobsters from escaping capture. Very nice hallmarked domed server in larger size at 15 inches long. It stands 9 inches tall and is 9 inches deep. Very good condition with bright silver and no wear thru areas. A quick polish would bring out the already bright finish even more. The dome has an unusual hammered surface top with vine and berry motif. We then put two coats of a clear sealer finish on and then three coats of a Top Grade Clear Coat Satin finish on making sure to hand rub out each finish. To a nice baby smooth finish! We made a exact divided tray insert found in trunks of this kind. The trunk also features antique leather handles that are strong and durable that preserves that Antique look of the trunk! The inside of the trunk was also finished with great care. Three coats of a satin top coat nice smooth finish. The Original lid stay is present and is in working condition, which will hold open the dome, so you can load and unload your trunk safely. The trunk features solid oak or ash wood slats. Antique after shave bottle cut glass domed silver screw top
This in an antique very large and impressive cut glass bottle with silver neck and a silver domed screw top. The bottle was bought in the UK where it was manufactured. We have used it for decoration only so it does not smell from old perfume. It is sold as we bought it and would benefit from a good cleaning on the inside. There are identical hall marks on both top and bottle neck(photo 3) which means that this is the original top for this bottle. Below the hall marks on the bottle in almost invisible writing it says"Lou 85" The top is engraved with initials of the first owner. It holds almost 0.5 liter(approx. 450 ml/14 oz. Condition: This more than 130 years old perfume bottle shows signs of use. The dome has dents and nicks and there is a flea bite inside the bottle neck(see photos) The cork inside the lid is in very good condition ... moreand the thread is perfect.
