Antique Vintage Kohler Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet Set 1950's
This faucet set was removed from a Kohler shelfback sink. The sink was beyond saving so this was removed. It includes the drain/pop-up assembly as well. This type of faucet set would be found on Kohler sinks from the 1950's and 60's, typically cast iron sinks. All of the faucet trim pieces are in good shape. With a few nicks/scratches/pitting here and there but nothing terrible(see pics) The spout is also in good shape with a few small nicks, and the pop-up rod moves freely and operates properly. The pop-up assembly's plating is also in very nice shape with great original shine. The drain trim piece and stopper are also in nice shape. Check photos for condition. This is the twist-and-lift stopper design that was used. Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers and packing ... morebefore use. Antique Vintage American Standard Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet Set 1950's
This faucet set was removed from a 1950's American Standard shelfback sink. The sink was beyond saving so this was removed. It includes the drain/pop-up assembly as well. Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. Antique Vintage Bath Tub Faucet Set 1940's Antique Plumbing
Here is a tub/shower faucet set that was removed from a 1940's-era bathroom. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. This is designed for directing the water down to a spout-only or up to a shower-only, there is no diverter. The upper outlet is plugged, since the shower control for this particular faucet was on the tub spout(not included) Of course, it could also be used in a walk-in shower. The spout that was installed with it was a Crane piece, though I'm pretty sure that this isn't a Crane faucet. The'HOT' cap is missing. And the'COLD' cap is a bit dull from wear(see pics) The handles are lightly pitted, and the escutcheons have just a few light scuffs here and there. Antique sink faucet set, Standard , commercial style rough cast brass 20's-30'
antique sink faucet set. Everything turns, some tool marks on the metal, the usual corrosion on the nickel plating from 50+ years of storage. These are not the smooth plated ones you would expect in a home kitchen or bath, these are slightly rough cast commercial grade. Think Factory, or barn, they are plated, nickel I assume, and the plating has corrosion, heavy brass under it. Wouldn't want to spoil the patina that only time can create. They measure 3 1/16” across and ¾” tall. The opening for the top of the valve spline measures a tight ½” across and is approx. 5/8" deep. Chrome looks good with very minor pitting on the sides of the handles. Mineralization stains from water are superficial and easily removed. And the threads are 1" The faucets themselves are probably nickel over brass and were made by the CENTRAL company(See Photo# 3. This set was acquired from a local New England antique home and is in good condition, with no splits or breaks to the faucets. There is one 1" hairline on the HOT handle toward the back, but neither handle is chipped at all. There is some pitting and finish wear, and they definitely would benefit from a good cleaning, but I'll leave that up to the new owner's discretion.
