Antique Vintage Bath Tub Faucet Set 1940's Antique Plumbing
Here is a tub/shower faucet set that was removed from a 1940's-era bathroom. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. This is designed for directing the water down to a spout-only or up to a shower-only, there is no diverter. The upper outlet is plugged, since the shower control for this particular faucet was on the tub spout(not included) Of course, it could also be used in a walk-in shower. The spout that was installed with it was a Crane piece, though I'm pretty sure that this isn't a Crane faucet. The'HOT' cap is missing. And the'COLD' cap is a bit dull from wear(see pics) The handles are lightly pitted, and the escutcheons have just a few light scuffs here and there. I have a nice old solid cast brass water spigot for your consideration. Lots or character for your garden. Utility or other water needs. Porcelain handle has a small chip but still usable. Upon inspection valve seat and packing look OK but might need to be replaced since I did not check it. Being sold low start as is for this reason. I think it looks good for reuse though. Some wrench marks, dings and scuffs consistent with its age. There is quite a bit of wear, of the silver chrome finish, all about this hardware. Has a nice adjustable trim escutcheon that spins smoothly too. Nice early paddle handle as well. Questions welcome otherwise what you see is what you get. As well as it does show signs of wear. As for the porcelain handle, its in good with a very fine hairline on the underside of the handle. It does not run the entire length of the handle nor does it appear to have any effect on the stability of the porcelain. The hole in the handle measures approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. A rain style shower head in white porcelain and two old style sink faucets. One with porcelain centers saying hot and cold. This is heavy quality plumbing fixtures that would look correct in any 1880's-1920's home. Antique Claw Foot Tub Faucet Nickel Brass Plumbing Bathtub Sink
Antique nickel plate over brass claw foot tub faucet. No manufacturers' mark. Has bat style handles with the letters"H" C" There is a center holder for soap. Both handles have the mounting screws, but the right(C" side turns a both more loosely than the other. Measures approx: 5 5/8" H x 8 5/8" W x 4 5/8" D. Feed lines are 2 3/8" apart on center(see images with ruler) Condition: Nickel plate does have scratches. Wear, tool marks, and small amount of oxidization. Fixture is untested and may need new washers etc. All the pieces appear to be there and come apart(and back together) without trouble. Overall good condition. I have a lot of antique trim escutcheons and handles for your consideration. Most of these are in reusable condition although some have minor nicks or flea bites on the rings.
