This auction is for a Lancaster of Hanley England cream pitcher with copper luster accents. It is a little creamer pitcher which stands about 2 1/2 inches tall inches tall and is in very good condition. I see no condition issues, no breaks, no repairs, no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no stains. I know it looks like there is a red dot on the copper rim, but that is a reflection from the red eye on my camera's auto light sensor. There is no such spot actually on the pitcher.

Vintage Large& Small Pitcher Set Lily of the Valley Design Excellent Condition! I have owned this large and small Pitcher set for over 25 years. I purchased it at an estate auction. One of the most beautiful patterns and colors I have ever seen. It is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips to mar its beauty. The large pitcher is approx. 11.5" tall and 8" at its widest point. The small pitcher is about 4.5" tall and about over 4.5" at its widest point. The colors are lovely. The lily of the valley flowers have a hint of blue around them. The large pitcher especially has some weight to it and since I see no crazing. I am guessing they are stoneware. These pitchers are trimmed in gold.I'm guessing 22k from the color. There are some color variances which you can see on the bottom of the large pitcher(almost like ... morea finger print) and some lighter spots on the brown colors too. This set has no makers mark that I can see. Please study pictures carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding. This auction is for an excellent late 19th century Glasgow pottery ironstone milk/water pitcher. This piece was purchased from a prominent southern Maryland estate. This fine pitcher was manufactured by John Moses and the Glasgow Pottery company of Trenton New Jersey. Glasgow pottery was established in 1863 and quickly became one of the largest and most successful potters in New Jersey. Glasgow produced a variety of centennial commemerative tea cups and saucers for which they are well known for. Many organizations sponsored fund raising activities centered on the 100th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party that also featured Glasgow cups and saucers. The company continued success until shortly after the death of John Moses in 1902.Which at that time were sold to Maddock Pottery. This is a wonderful English White Ironstone Pitcher- it is either a large creamer or a small milk pitcher. Made by Cockson& Chetwynd in Cobridge. England between 1867 and 1875. Fully marked on the base in brown transfer. Size: 5 3/8" tall. 5 3/8" from handle to spout. Design is a bulbous curvy shape for the body. With a nautical motif on the handle- ropes and hooks. Condition: EXCELLENT. with no chips or cracks. The base ring has a divot which I believe was from the potting process. Not a chip afterwards. please see my photos) Such a charmer. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing and the gold trim is nearly excellent with only one area where it is just slightly faded(on the top part of the handle) It measures about 3" from base to top of head of dog and nearly 3 3/4" from tip of nose to edge of handle and has a diameter of about 1 5/8" The dog looks to be a setter or retriever of some type and the mouth serves as a spout. There is a pretty pink and white flower with green leaves painted on the front which almost looks like a cosmos to me. This is a wonderful White Ironstone Sauce/Gravy Boat& Liner in the famous and beloved"Ceres" pattern. Both pieces have marks. But it is the liner which has the Elsmore& Forster mark in black transfer in addition to the incised date mark. The boat itself has a raised date mark. I suspect that these two did not begin life together. Although they work very well as a set. In my opinion. The boat is of exquisite quality, which is amazing because Elsmore& Forster. The known maker of the liner, is acknowledged as one of the finest potters of ironstone. Perhaps the boat is by Elsmore& Forster also. But is of slightly earlier vintage. In any case. Both pieces are of very, very fine quality and are in excellent condition, with only light crazing. There are several potting mistakes. Minor, but here they are: on the boat, there ... moreis a divot on the top edge. This is from the making and is completely covered with the thick glaze. The liner has one tiny bubble in the clay. Also under the glaze. The underplate also is a slightly different white mainly in the well area where the boat sits. another clue as to the marriage. Tonight's Item for Antique Vintage Auction is a White Matching Pitcher& Bowl That Folks Used Thru Earlier Days when the majority of homes. Etc.had dug wells for the only source of fresh water and water was put in these pitchers& bowls and was the way people washed and cleaned up other than taking a bath and even the bath was poured water from the well, no indoor plumbing for anything. The Pitcher measures about 8 1\2 inches tall at the highest point and 8 1\2 inches wide at the widest point. The Bowl measures about 13 1\4 inches in diameter and about 4- 4 1\4 inches deep(height) As I mentioned, there is some spider cracking on the base of the bowl(very common) from setting the pitcher into the bowl with the weight of the pitcher and even more filled with water. Hello and Welcome! For bids. We present this fantastic antique Stoneware Blue Spongeware Pitcher. Description: This is a great item; a pitcher made in the estimate mid-1800's. Standing a 9 inches tall with a 6 inch diameter base and is glazed in a large irregular blue ring spongeware pattern throughout exterior. The pitcher has a raised ring approx. 1 inch from the bottom edge and another approximately 1 inch from the top rim. The spout is fairly large and also has the raised ring in the same location. The interior is glazed with a light speckle of blue throughout and the bottom side is bare/unglazed. The bottom has a seam line running through the middle. Almost in perfect condition with only one very small little knick at the tip of spout(see pictures provided) A fantastic item and in such great condition! Thanks for viewing this item.

This is an OLD SLEEPY EYE blue and creamy white pitcher. The pitcher depicts images of Native American lifestyle. Raised relief images include: Indian head profile with a long hair braid and feathered headdress. Tepees, trees and landscaping. This pitcher is 8 7/8" high and has a 6 1/2" bottom diameter. The handle measures 6" from the top of the handle to the bottom of the handle closest to the pitcher. The handle protrudes 3 1/8" from the pitcher to the nose of the face on the handle. The base color of the pitcher is a creamy white and is crackled. The raised images and handle are painted cobalt blue. The feathered Indian face/figure head is almost 4" high. NOTES OF ISSUES: There is a tiny chip in the 2nd feather from the top. There is one spot of blue that must have dripped when painted- it is above the trees. There ... moreis a glaze drip inside of the pitcher. There are a few TINY chips at the very base of the pitcher. Under the Indian Head relief. There is a line in the landscape that runs for about 5" it is UNDER the glaze. Overall there are 5 tepees. Excellent Vintage Ironstone USA Cobalt Blue Floral Transfer Wash Bowl & Pitcher
This is an excellent matching set including a wash pitcher and bowl with rich cobalt blue around the edge and bottom of the bowl and around the top. Bottom, and sides of the pitcher, and blue floral transferred images on the front and back of the pitcher. Both have ornate beaded floral details molded into the edges. They are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, but there might be very light, faint crazing in spots and there is one tiny speck of glaze missing from the edge of the bowl(last photo) The pitcher measures 12" H x 9" from handle to spout, and the bowl measures 15 1/2" in diameter x 4 1/4" H. They will be packed very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Excellent Prince Consort Stoneware Relief Molded Pitcher Death of Albert 1861
Fabulous tall white stoneware relief molded jug commemorating the death of Prince Albert in 1861. This is the large version of this jug measuring 10 1/2 inches tall. On one side is a portrait of Albert and on the other royal arms. The interesting handle is composed of emblems of orders held by Albert. At the top of the handle there is a crown and the bottom handle attachment is anchored by the body of a ram. In ribbons on the sides of the jug several of the orders are named and Albert's birth and death dates are given. The bottom is marked with a registry diamond for April 9. 1862 and OHECL for the manufacturer Old Hall Earthenware Company Limited, successor to Charles Meigh and Son. Condition is excellent with beautiful clean white surfaces and no chips, cracks, stains or other damage or restoration. Vintage Ironstone Country Blue& White Pitcher& Wash Basin This is a beautiful vintage/antique Ironstone Pitcher and Wash Basin. Marked"Ironstone" with a star on the bottom of the pitcher. I cannot be sure if this set was made in England or in the USA, since I have seen similar sets from both places. This is a very large set: the Pitcher measures 11"h x 8.5"w(at widest part) and the Basin is 16" in diameter x 5"h Condition: Both pieces are in excellent condition! Rare Antique Warranted Sydney Pink Rose Bowl& Pitcher Set Warranted Syndey from turn of the century- late 1800's or early 1900's. You are bidding on a RARE primitive antique pitcher and wash bowl basin set. The bowl measures 14 inches across and 4 ½ inches high. It has a beautiful pink rim and a pink and green rose painted appliqué decoration. The outside of the bowl has a raised leaf design near the bottom. The bottom is unmarked. The water pitcher measures about 10 ½ inches tall and about 8 inches across the widest point. It has the same green and pink rose appliqué decoration as the bowl. It has a single rosebud appliqué on the inside of the spout. The outside of the spout/ rim and the underside of the handle have what looks like a sprayed gradient pink tint and the pitcher has a beautiful scalloped ... moreedge and flowing handle. It has the same raised leaf design on the lower edge of the pitcher. The green watermark stamped on the bottom of the pitcher says WARRANTED SYDNEY around a royal crest with a gargoyle and a unicorn. I believe these are from the 1800’s. These items are in amazing antique condition with just a couple of small chips to the outer edge of the bowl rim. The pitcher is perfect. It is interesting how it looks like specks of the paint from the appliqué have flaked off in the glaze before firing adding flakes of color to the white background. This is an amazing HUGE set. Large Ironstone 1890 England Floral Pitcher and Basin Bowl - Excellent Condition
LARGE IRONSTONE 1890 ENGLAND FLORAL PITCHER AND BASIN BOWL ITEM DESCRIPTION Beautiful and elegant. Both the pitcher and bowl are in excellent condition, extremely clean, and a crisp mold. I looked on Ebay and most sellers say they are antique or from the 1890’s. I don’t know who made them or their age. I do know that they are very pretty and would look great in a bathroom. Hallway, or even the kitchen. Colors: The true colors are slightly different than photos show. The yellow flower is not quite as gold as it looks– more yellow. The other flowers are lavender. The background shading on both the pitcher and bowl are a true light lemon yellow rather than the slightly goldish tint in photos. And are blended much better than photos show. There are no chips. Cracks, crazing, stains, water stains, or repairs. Very nice! I am selling a wonderful. Antique ironstone pitcher from Bridgwood& Son- of classic shape raised on a short foot and molded with small flowerheads on stems with pointy leaves. Handle is topped by a ripe fruit on a stem. Height to top of spout is 13 5/16" Condition is excellent- no chips, nicks' stains or other signs of use- just two minor flaws from manufacture- a raised, unglazed'bump' see photo 8) and a short, glazed-over crack on handle terminal(see photo 9) Still stunning!
