Presented for your consideration this lovely very interesting unusual yellow ware water pitcher. I have had this pitcher in my collection for many years and try as I might. I could not find another any where. It has the classic aesthetic movement form with its bulbous bottom and flat top. It is embossed with an aesthetic movement decor with its all over design of geometric patterns Asian influences i.e. bamboo, fans and flowers. All on a dark mustard yellow background with gilded highlights. Pitcher measures 7-1/8 inches tall and approximately 6-1/2 inches in diameter at it's widest. The pitcher is unmarked. It is in excellent antique condition, not cracks, chips or repairs, there is a tiny hairline on the inside top rim, that may just be stress line. It has a sweet gold trimmed spout with an embossed face and border. Directly below the spout. About midway down, is an interesting embossed Phoenix bird head. The foot is also embossed with gold spattered swirls. The green and gold ornate handle adds an interesting touch. Lovely! Embossed White Creamer or Pitcher Royal Ironstone Charles Meakin 1870-82
From a cousin’s estate we have a WONDERFUL vintage embossed pitcher or creamer. It is white Ironstone made by Charles Meakin in England. This is a smaller cream pitcher with embossed flowers and possibly a ribbon on the backside by the handle. The top of the handle is ornate as well. The seam can be seen on the side- that is not a crack. There are speckles here and there under the glaze- kind of flaked blue or black. There are a couple small spots where the glaze is flaked off near the spout. No cracks and no chips. It is in extremely lovely condition for its age! See photos. Approximate measurements: 5-1/2" tall to handle and spout. 4-5/8" tall at middle, 5" from handle to spout, 2-7/8" across. The bottom is slightly oval measuring 2-3/4" x 2-1/5" across. This is one of the most highly embossed and decorated stoneware pitchers I have ever seen. All the blue is under the glaze and the dark green is over painted. This piece measures 11 3/4" 29.8 cm) in height. 6 1/2" 16.5 cm) in diameter at the widest point, 4 1/2" 11.4 cm) in diameter at the bottom and 3 3/4(9.6 cm) in diameter at the top including the spout. There is no company mark, only the number"675" incised on the unglazed base and a hand scratched"4" The pitcher(or jug) is most likely German and the style of the decoration would date it to around the 1870s. Between each decorated band of designs there are horizontal beads and rope designs. 10 in all. Around the top there is a narrow band of"fleur-de-lis" designs. Below that is a band of eight winged cherub heads. The next wide band has four"Bows ... morewith drops" and four fruited swags that alternate over a horizontal incised background. On the body is a wide band that has eight oval"windows" with large winged angels displayed from the waist up. The base of each angel as open blue and green designs. The handle is"C" shaped with a cobalt stripe and large bead down the spine. When viewed from each side there is a beaded design with strap work. Next the base of the handle on the left side is a 1/2" dollop of clay that was left on the piece when it was fired. Sometimes small pieces of clay transferred from other pieces when stacked close together in the kiln. It has 1 angle fish on one side embossed in the side and 2 fish on the other side. The long fins upper& lower fins of the fish are stretched to decorate the entire pitcher from top to bottom. Antique Yellow Ware Pitcher and Four Mugs Green Grapes Shield Embossed Motif
You are bidding on an antique yellow ware pitcher and mug set. This is in really good shape for the age of the item. Please view all photos carefully. It is the most beautiful green glaze I have seen on items of this style. It has a shield motif embossed on the front and back. The height of the pitcher is 8 3/4" tall by 8 1/4" across from spout to handle. The top diameter is 5" and the bottom diameter is 6" The mugs measure 5 1/4" H by 5 1/2" across to handle with a diameter of 3 3/4" There is a hairline crack and small glaze chip on the rim of one of the mugs(shown in photos) I also noticed a few other small chips on the mugs. Hi! This is an BIN auction for a small porcelain pitcher. It is embossed with strawberries. It stands about 4 1/4" tall and is about 3 1/4" in diameter on the widest part of pitcher. There are some markings on bottom use ZOOM to check it out. The berries and vine have lost most of the paint. I have felt all edges and only rough places are where gold paint is coming off. This English parian creamer came from an auction in Vermont. Each side is embossed with a hunter and his dog. The creamer is in good condition. No chips or cracks. There is some wear in the gold trim and on the dark blue jacket. There are spots that I believe were made during the manufacturing process. The creamer measures 3 1/4" high and 3 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout. This is a beautiful porcelain pitcher. It is embossed with a raised design on each side. The blue still shows nicely on all sides. The boat scene appears to be Dutch and is detailed on one side while the other side shows the boat in the distance. There is nice detail on the bottom with 4 pads so the pitcher sits up on a surface. There appears to be some numbers on the bottom and just a small blue line. The pitcher measures 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. It is in good shape. No cracks or chips.

Copper Luster Staffordshire Pitcher Victorian Embossed Rim Spout
Up for bid is an antique Copper Luster Staffordshire Pitcher from the Victorian age. The pitcher has a blue band with vine design. The rim has embossed beads and an embossed floral spout. The middle section is has beaded and is ribbed at the foot. The pitcher measures 4-3/4" tall and 5-3/4" handle to spout. Nearly all copper luster produced was from the Staffordshire district throughout the 1800's. This piece is unmarked and more than likely was produced from 1840's to the 1880's. It is in very good condition for its age. I do not see any chips or cracks. But the interior is crazed. I could not find any other flaws, but there could be other very tiny flaws in this because it was made with a reddish-brown clay and is nearly the same color as the copper. The item is black with a white interior. The black base is decorated with gold design and has a hand painted scene on the front and the back- a sea scene with a boat. The ewer is in very good vintage condition with one exception- there was a small part of the picture on one side that fell off during firing- please see photos as there are excellent pictures of the entire piece. This very small manufacturing defect does not detract from the item, as it is difficult to see. This is a very beautiful antique piece of art. Brown glazed stoneware milk pitcher with embossed cow medallion by Hull ND619
Early Hull stoneware milk pitcher with embossed cow medallion. This pitcher was manufactured in Ohio by Hull Pottery about 1900. It stands 8" tall. Measures 5 1/2" in diameter at the base and holds 2 quarts of liquid. The interior is glazed in white and the exterior in brown with a scroll design around the rim and base, a honeycomb pattern in the background, a rope style handle, and a medallion in the center on both sides of the pitcher which depicts two cows. There is a spot on the handle and one on a cows ear where the glaze has flaked off but no chip to the stoneware. There is a fissure in the body of the pitcher which is visible inside the pitcher. It was caused by the clay drying and shrinking. It looks like a crack but it is not as it is glazed over. Inside the pitcher around the base, there is a fine hairline crack which ... moredoes not extend to the outside and does not hamper the pitcher in holding a liquid. It is signed; but I can’t make out of it except one name‘Nettie’ see pictures 8 and 9) It has multiple colors and gold trims. It also has uneven crazing inside the pitcher showing a true age-crazing. The design pattern is very unique. It’s in excellent condition with no cracks. This is a great find. Yelloware this old is usually cracked. Chipped, stained etc. This piece is in great shape. A little crazing of the glaze on the bottom as per photo. Vintage gold gilded milk pitcher. Antique embossed transferware fruit motiff
This is a beautiful piece for display. Likely from the 20's/ 30's. This white china milk pitcher is embossed, gold gilded, and with a fruit motif. It is transfer ware. It has a transfer of a group of pears on one side and a group of plums on the other. There is some discreet wear on the gold gilding as you would expect on an older piece, yet is free from chips, cracks or crazing. The bottom is stamped with"Naomi" I think) I have not heard of this manufacturer before, and it was made prior to manufacturers including a country of origin. It is a bit obscure, yet because of it's age and many sought after characteristics; it will be an awesome addition to any white china, fruit motif, transfer ware, or vintage china collection.
