Antique 1910 Yellow Ware Roseville Art Pottery Lily of the Valley Pitcher
This is for a 7 1/2" tall cream. Yellow ware, pitcher made by Roseville Pottery. This has the blue Ink Stamp with the Rv on the bottom. This is an old pitcher and the glaze is crazed alot on one side of the pitcher but not the other side. The inside is crazed also and a little discolored. There is a chip to the underside of the spout which seems to be polished and glazed over, maybe a repair. The handles are applied and I believe this pattern is Lily of the Valley. Great Primitive Yellow Ware Pitcher I have had this pitcher for a very long time. Its time to let it go. The pitcher if very heavy and a bright shade of mustard yellow. I think the third picture shows the true color of the pitcher the best. No cracks or chips. There is crazing throughout the pitcher and glaze lines. The handle looks applied and the base is ribbed. It appears very primitive due the crudeness of the pottery. Meaning there are a lot of pottery lines and unevenness. There are rough lines inside the pitcher. These are not cracks but from the pottery making process. A really pretty pitcher. Measures: 8 1/2" tall Base is 4 1/4" Width is about 8" including handle and 6" without the handle. It has a pedestal base and lovely form. The molded decoration is very crisp and detailed. Measures 6 3/8” in height to the top of the handle. Although it is not signed. This pitcher has been attributed to Ridgway and would have been produced circa 1850. This pitcher is in exceptionally good condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Rare Vintage Antique Yellow Large Wonderful Enameled Pitcher and Basin
Hi. Up for auction is a simply charming vintage enameled Pitcher and Basin. Please view all the photos carefully. It does have imperfections and some rusting but for its age it is in very good condition and all the imperfections simply add to its charm. A wonderful addition to any vintage kitchen or bathroom or entry hallway. The rust shown on the bottom of the pitcher is not rusted through. It is just surface rust and the pitcher could still hold water if one wanted to actually use it. In fact, all the rust spots are just surface rust. It is very large. You are bidding on an antique yellow ware pitcher and mug set. This is in really good shape for the age of the item. Please view all photos carefully. It is the most beautiful green glaze I have seen on items of this style. It has a shield motif embossed on the front and back. The height of the pitcher is 8 3/4" tall by 8 1/4" across from spout to handle. The top diameter is 5" and the bottom diameter is 6" The mugs measure 5 1/4" H by 5 1/2" across to handle with a diameter of 3 3/4" There is a hairline crack and small glaze chip on the rim of one of the mugs(shown in photos) I also noticed a few other small chips on the mugs. The pitcher has a couple defects. But all of these imperfections are minor. There is very little crazing on the item. If you need more pictures, let me know. Offered is a vintage 19th century spongeware water or milk pitcher. It has a serpentine top rim with a raised floral decoration. Heavily crazed. sponged with blue and rust. It has one 1/2" chip on the inside rim near the spout, a 3" hairline from the top rim down, and a spider along the bottom. When tapped on the side, the pitcher has a nice ring, is as solid as the day it was made! I've provided as many photos as possible. It measures 7 1/4"T x 4 3/4" at the base, 6"Wide at the handle. This piece is a genuine antique, unlike most of that modern reproduction blue& white spongeware seen on eBay. It has been in my family for at least 3 generations. Hi. For sale a small antique yellow clay pitcher or creamer. The pitcher is cream colored with hand painted brown slip glaze tulips. Leaves, dots and lines. There is a chip on the bottom rim painted band(see picture) There is some crazing and some paint is wearing off due to age. I took close up pictures to show the paint fading and crazing. Crazing is mostly on the top of the pitcher or creamer. You need to look close to see the crazing- there is also a few tiny pottery marks or holes from when it was made. Antique early 1800s yellow ware sprigged and glazed pitcher
We are listing this attractive early 1800s yellow ware pitcher which has a face under the lip. White floral sprigs and a brown glaze overlay. There is no maker's mark and it could be either English or American. It is about 4.5 inches tall and about 6.5 inches at its widest point. Other than some minor wear and cracking on the sprigs it is in excellent condition. These old country-style jugs are getting harder and harder to find these days. Unusual salt glazed stoneware pitcher or jug with a bird. Bamboo, and branch motif on either side. In researching this piece, I have seen this pattern in Majolica, Jasper ware, and green tone stoneware. I believe it to be either of English or German origin circa 1890-1910. It is in excellent condition with no damage and stands 8" inches tall. Classic European pitcher. Probably Black Forest, standing 7" high with a large graceful handle. Marked underneath with a circle. Unreadable with the number 10 within the circle. Four lovely roses in differing sizes in shades of yellow. Green and peach, with a background of green ferns. Peach shading around the bottom of the pitcher. There are a few markings from the manufacture. One scratch across one of the roses. Very soft and romantic appearance. Purchased in a German flea market by the seller.
