The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamouneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor, Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence, Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. It measures approximately 3 3/4" with original stopper. There is a monogram. In script, on the cartouche. It is marked" 999/1000 Fine" with the Alvin hallmark and numbers" 3 111" The Sterling overlay on this lovely bottle bears the hallmark of the Alvin Manufacturing Company. Which became Alvin Silver in erlay 1900. The art nouveau silver whips and swirls around the inverted tear-shape of the bottle. Forming flowers and stems. The condition of this bottle is near mint. The only problem is that sometime in the last century the stopper was bumped and has a slight chip and two small crack inside bottle neck(doesn't show when it is on. It sits properly and doesn't take away from the beauty of this bottle) Please note in the photos I show how the bottom of the bottle and the bottom of the stopper have matching etched numbers: 18. They have been mates since the day they were made- the glass in the stopper was ground specifically to fit the neck of this bottle. Very rare piece! I accept PayPal. Vintage/Antique Perfume Bottle Art Deco Style Clear and Frosted Glass
Up for auction with no reserve is a beautiful art deco style perfume bottle. Looks to be pressed glass because there is a seam around the side. Frosted bottom. Has some defects to the glass. Most notably a chip around the neck of the base- see pics. There is also a small raised line on the surface of the glass that comes down from the neck of the base onto the side but it looks more like a defect in pressing than a crack. Some small defects in the stopper. Still a very appealing piece. Measures approximately just over 9 inches from base to top of stopper. Stopper is 2.25 inches across and 6 inches in length. A wonderful dramtic perfume bottle. It measures about 10 1/2" tall to the top of the cut and beveled glass finial. The three sided stopper is cut on the back to resemble a pagoda type building with layered roofs that stack on each other from the bottom of the stopper to te top. Each surface is smooth glass, the bottle is ment to be decorative, it stongly resembles TIFFIN work of the late art deco period. Each edge is cut and beveled, light wear to the bottom. Antique Moser style perfume bottle, pedestal base.
Very nice little Moser style green perfume bottle sitting on a metal pedestal. The enameling is still in fine shape. However the atomizer is missing. It stands 3.5 inches tall to the top of the collar. These old bottles are great for holding scented oils: I have another bottle similar to this that is missing the atomizer and I fill it with scented oil and put wooden diffuser sticks in it.

You are bidding on one elegant. Feminine vintage Silvestri Art Deco Perfum Bottle. This bottle is pre-owned but has always been empty so there is no perfume residue or odor in the bottle. I'm not sure when this was made but I know that it is at least 25 years old. The bottle is a gorgeous light pink satin finish and it's in excellent shape. The only flaw I really see is on the center stripes on one side. There is a line in the glass, but that is something that was there when it was made, it did not get damaged. The bottle without the top is about 6" x 3" The top raises the height about 1.75" It sits nicely in the bottle. There isn't a place that this beautiful piece wouldn't look good! Rare Vintage Art Deco Style 7 Piece Crystal Perfume Bottle Set Circa 1940
Offered for auction is a wonderful vintage 7-piece art-deco style perfume bottle set from the 1940s. The crystal stoppers on the bottles are very beautiful. I believe the carrier is Bakelite ~ although I'm not an expert and could be wrong ~ it's possible it's plastic.although it's in excellent shape for plastic. The bottles fit together perfectly. There are no scratches or nicks/fleabites on the glass. The set is 4" high with the stoppers. 2 3/4" high without the stoppers and the carrier is slightly more than 6 1/4" around at the base. The set weighs 7.1 ounces. Interestingly each bottle weighs exactly the same at 2.1 ounces. I expected them to weigh slightly differently but that's not the case with this set. Overall. This is a newer Irice bottle and it does have the Irice stamp on the bottom. Both the atomizer and bottle are in excellent condition and all intact. The glass bottle has no chips. Cracks or repairs. It is also very clean inside and out. The plastic syphon tube is intact and the black bulb is new. When the bulb is squeezed I do feel strong puffs of air come out so it appears to be in working condition but I have not tested it with liquid. With the atomizer in place, it is about 4 3/4 inches tall to the top of the atomizer. It is approx 3 inches across at the widest part which is up near the top. I have here a very nice little gem of a perfume bottle. This bottle has a different size than most i have seen. This one measures about 3 5/8 inches tall. Bottle is designed by Julien Viard. It is said in a Harpers Bazaar magazine that the design was used by Lalique in a bottle titled Dolcemia. Not sure of the water this holds however. Made in France. Must have a for a collector.
