Antique Perfume bottle possibly from France vintage 1930s deco piece. The Deco pattern in brass is quite pretty with prong leaf shapes that accent the Embroidered Flower Center which is overlaid with a plastic coating. The glass is a dark purple almost black. The Stopper is accented with a rhinestone. The dabber on the stopper is plastic and is whole. The Perfume bottle is unbroken. However I would like to note that two of the brass leaves on the back of the bottle have been broken off due to age[please see photos] The size of this lovely diminutive piece is 1 1/2"across x 1 3/4" high. **~Gorgeous Antique Perfume~Scent Bottle~Gold Gilded~Purple Stone~**
This lovely antique chatelaine perfume bottle has a sterling silver gold gilded cap and collar. Marked sterling but no makers marks. Which is typical of some bottles of this age. Circa 1850-1899. This bottle has a beautiful purple stone set in the center of the top of the cap. The repousse design on the cap is that of leaves and small flowers. The gold gilding on the inside of the cap looks near to what it looked the day it was made, bright and shiny without a spec of rust or corrosion, untypical. This wonderful bottle is from my personal collection. Great care has been taken to this bottle during the last 120 years. The cap and collar are free from dents. Splits, or tears. The 12 vertical paneled glass body is cut in what I would call a“zipper style” Meaning the cuts resemble the teeth of a zipper. There is also a star cut formation on the ... morebottom base of the bottle. The wonderful glass body has no chips or cracks of any kind. The collar has a ring where at one time a chain was attached for it to hang on a chatelaine. Chatelaines were worn by women in the 1800’s as a belt in chains suspending common everyday needful items such as perfume. Vinaigrette, sewing tools, etc. The original glass stopper is intact and is free from chips or cracks. The bottle measures 2 ¾” high including the cap and stone and ¾” wide at the base. Superb. Very Rare"ATOMA" Czech Cut Glass Pocket Spray Bottle/Atomizer Complete In Box You are viewing an Antique"ATOMA" Pocket Spray Atomizer complete in it's Original box. I believe this old piece dates to the early 1900's. But I'll leave that to the experts to determine. The stunning blueish purple cut glass bottle measures 1 3/4" high x 1 5/8" wide x 9/16" thick. It features a wonderful hobstar pinwheel cut glass pattern on both sides. As seen in the photos. It comes with the small brass funnel(3/16" Diameter) as well as the brass atomizer with rubber bulb. Printed on the original rice paper folded insert is Registered Patent applied for. The insert is printed in both English and perhaps German or Czechoslovakian(please see photos) This ATOMA Pocket spray may be a one-of-a-kind invention/prototype. ... moreI have not seen another example of this old pocket atomizer. The small bottle has a unique cut out/notch on one side that appears to have held the rubber spray bulb in place. The small brass lever. When in the horizontal position prevented any leakage or evaporation of the perfume. Engraved into the side of the brass nozzle is WCRTEX APLD DP CZECHO SL. As stated above. The condition is Excellent overall. I viewed the bottle with a magnifier and could detect only one small shallow chip on the outer edge. The bottle has old perfume residue inside and at the top which should clean up nicely. The old rubber spray bulb has hardened over time and is no longer pliable. This is an amazing atomizer that would be a top-notch addition to any antique perfume bottle/atomizer collection. This bottle is a beautiful purple color and goes to a faint purple shade at the bottom. see picturews.as shows the etched signed bottom. The bottle is Czechoslovakian and the jeweled art work is American. Empire Art Gold 1890-s 1930's in New York. USA. This bottle was designed and made in the 1920's. The stones are all present.Green. Blue and pink glass stones. It stands nearly 5 inches tall and is very wide about 3.75 at the widest point around the middle. There is some gold loss in areas of the gold ormolu to be expected. nice warm patina in the appropriate areas. The bulb is ply-able and the hose is there but you must handle ... morewith care as it is likely to come apart at some point from old age. It has not been tested to work. Antique Art Glass Perfume Bottle Base Light Purple w Enameled Flowers & Gold
This is an old perfume bottle base acquired from an estate. I have no idea of the age or origin but it appears to be a vintage piece. It is about 3 ½” tall and 2 ½” in diameter at the widest point towards the base. I’m assuming that it had some type of sprayer/atomizer that screwed into the metal top part. The glass is lightweight(almost like blown glass) and clear but has a light purple cast to it. There are enameled white flowers and leaf outlines. The leaves have a gold coloring. It is in used condition. There are no chips to the glass. The base has some surface scratches from use but there are no scratches on the sides. The metal neck top has a deep indent/scratch on the side. Perhaps this is a seam? definitely not a crack) There is some minor residue on the inside. Antique Victorian PURPLE IRIDESCENT GLASS Perfume Bottle & Dauber
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a pretty Lilac colored Iridescent glass perfume bottle with Floral Enamel paintings. This glass has such an unusual finish to it. Kind of like carnival glass with it's iridescence. It is hand painted with little white flowers and gold leaves. The white enamel flowers are in good condition but there is some fading to the gold leaves and details. This bottle will take a screw in atomizer but I was never able to find an antique one. I did find the next best thing ~ this nice floral topped glass dauber. The dauber is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It fits well and goes perfectly with the style of the bottle, I think. The bottle is likely c. late 1800's- early 1900's. The bottle is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks ... moreor repairs noted. There is a scratch to the metal collar that looks like a split but it is not. It is a shallow mark and does not go all the way through. The bottle is very clean inside and out. With the dauber in place the bottle is about 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches across at the widest part down near the bottom. This is a beautiful large perfume bottle or decanter made in Czechoslovakia. The bottle is clear crystal and has 8 sides. The bottom is a little thicker than the walls of the bottle. The stopper is frosted and is a stunning lavender color. The top is in the form of a large ball of flowers. The dauber is in the shape of a woman. The stopper is numbered 107/750. It is in new unused condition. It is an amazing piece of art glass. It is 8” inches tall with the stopper in and 6” inches without the stopper. The bottle is about 5” inches wide. 2.5” inches front to back. Sent by US post office within 1 week of purchase.
