It is not my intention to mislead in any way with the information provided. Just letting you know what I know(sorry not much: I found the bottle in the bottom of a box of old"junk" at a local sale and thought it interesting. I was told by the seller it was from her grandmother's things and they had been in storage and forgotten about. It looks to me to be authentic, the items in the box were definitely old, and I believe it is probably an antique. It is not marked that I can find. The metal looks and feels like sterling but again, it is not marked. I did a quick magnetic test on it and it is not magnetic. I'm not sure what other metal it would be honestly, to steer in that direction. I dipped it in Tarn-X and it did shine up a bit, in particular the flower part of the lid and the chain. It could have been just dirty though so I really don't know. The main part of the bottle is duller than under the rim, which is very shiny, and I assume the dullness from handling. After all of this being said. It is a sweet little bottle and dauber. It screws on and off easily. In my opinion it is made well. Any questions let me know! This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. This is a lot of three Larger one is a Laugharne Green Glass Scent Bottle with Silver Overlay it is signed and numbered and in perfect condition. This one is NOT an antique, it measures 6 and 1/2 inches high with the stopper and 1 and 3/4 inches wide. The two smaller ones are antiques and both have issues. There is denting on the tops of both ane one has the original stopper and the second is a cork. In addition both have cracking and chipping on the ribbing of the tops of the bottles. The silver on the bottles is in very good condition and is stamped. One bottle has a crown on the bottom and the second one is stamped 312. They measure just 2 and 1/2 inches tall and one inch wide. This bottle is cut crystal and has a gorgeous repousse sterling silver hinged top featuring a pair of doves. It is hallmarked around the neck of the bottle with William Comyns stamp. The Silver Standard Mark, the London, England City Mark, the Date Letter of 1889. And the Duty Mark of Queen Victoria the I. The bottle is 5 1/4" tall and 4" across. There is a small push button on the front which keeps the bottle securely closed. There is no inner stop. You may be able to get the stopper out. I have soaked it in hot water with no results. The lid screws on and off nicely with no problems. Walton From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Gorgeous 1896 HINGED RÉPOUSSÉ STERLING SILVER& TURQUOISE CAP CUT CRYSTAL SCENT or SMELLING SALTS PERFUME BOTTLE. This diminutive bottle stands 2 7/8” tall on a 7/8” diameter base. As shown. The hinged lid is incredible with floral, fern and foliate decoration as well as inset stones which I believe are turquoise. It is hallmarked for 1896 Birmingham, England and the maker's mark, while indistinct is probably that of George Edwin Walton. The clear glass tube is deeply cut with a star and cross-hatch design. Snap the lid up and the tiniest glass stopper I've ever seen is revealed.1/8” in diameter and about 3/4” long. Especially ... moreconsidering it is almost 120 years old. This is in excellent used condition. The hinged lid works fine and the top closes securely and I don't see any other issues with the top. Vintage. Possibly Antique, Perfume Ring Silver Metal(possible Sterling but unmarked) Approximately 7/8" Long by 1/2" Diameter Very Nice Condition! I apologize but this is a little out of my realm of expertise. It is not my intention to mislead in any way with the information provided. Just letting you know what I know(sorry not much: I found the bottle in the bottom of a box of old"junk" at a local sale and thought it interesting. I was told by the seller it was from her grandmother's things and they had been in storage and forgotten about. It looks to me to be authentic, the items in the box were definitely old, and I believe it is probably an antique. It is not marked that I can find. The metal looks and feels like sterling but again, it is not marked. I did a quick magnetic test on it and it is not magnetic. I'm ... morenot sure what other metal it would be honestly, to steer in that direction. I dipped it in Tarn-X and it did shine up a bit, in particular the flower part of the lid and the chain. It could have been just dirty though so I really don't know. The main part of the bottle is duller than under the rim, which is very shiny, and I assume the dullness from handling. All in all, none of the crystal bodies have any major damage, just a very few fleabites on the bottle with a ball top. RW & S scent perfume etched glass bottle sterling silver stopper
This is a very pretty Sterling Silver top etched glass perfume bottle. The silver is in very good condition. There is some wear where the dabber/stopper enters the neck of the bottle. Which is normal with age and use. The stopper is chipped as shown in the pictures, but it is still a beautiful display item and still very collectible. Just for accuracy there are a few light scratches that are towards the bottom of the bottle on the outside and are hardly noticeable. It measures approx. 5" tall by 3" diameter at it's widest. The silver is marked R W& S with a deer or a stag and numbers: 400-4 Robert Wallace silversmith. I believe after researching the hallmarks that it is American made in Connecticut. In 1855 Wallace was doing business as Robert Wallace& Co. And the firm was renamed R. Wallace& Sons in 1871. So the ... morebottle is at least made in 1871. It is monogrammed on the top. I am not an expert and try to do the best I can at describing my collection pieces up for auction. Antique 1904 Sheffield Cut Crystal Sterling Silver .925 Scent Perfume Bottle
This beautiful antique cut crystal and sterling silver.925 perfume bottle was made in Sheffield. England, in 1904, by brothers John and William Deakin. The gorgeous repousse lid is detailed with scrolls and flowers and a center shield. Which is un-monogrammed. The hallmark, showing JD over WD, Sheffield, 925, and 1904, is on the collar of the lid. It is in excellent antique condition. With very minor wear, considering its age. Details: The exterior cut glass has no damage, chips or cracks that I see. Very minor shelf wear on the bottom. The silver collar inside the bottle has a small dent, visible in the photos, and only seen when the sterling top is off. The inside edge of the bottle has a thumbnail size hairline crack, which is stable(see photos) The multi-faceted stopper has one fleabite chip on a facet, and a couple of fleabites on the ... moretop and bottom edges, commensurate with use. Here is a very large and beautiful original Art Nouveau perfume bottle. Sterling Silver Overlay on Glass. Excellent condition. No missing pieces of silver. No sickness. Just a little dirty in the very bottom. I didn't try to clean it. There's a tiny chip to the bottom of the stopper. Not important. No markings that I can find. Guaranteed sterling and authentic. The bottle has nice cross-hatch and button cuttings on the crystal body. The bottle is embellished with a sterling silver flip-up lid with fancy engraved monogram"DAP" in center. The top is marked with unknown maker's stamp"CM" with English hallmarks for"Sterling" Measures 2 3/4" high and 1 1/4" in diameter. The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks although there is some minor old perfume residue on the interior of the glass(mainly at the bottom) which we have not tried to clean. The silver cap has a couple of tiny dings on outside edge(see photos) No other noted flaws. French Signed DAUM NANCY CAMEO GLASS Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Top
We are pleased to offer this rare antique original French signed Daum Nancy cameo glass perfume scent bottle travel decanter. It has a hinged. Sterling silver, attached top and the original acid etched crystal stopper. This is an estate fresh piece and we have not attempted to clean or polish it. It features a river valley scene with conifers. Perhaps an early spring scene. It also has beautiful Lily of the Valley flowers on the sides of the bottle. There is a dripping icicle design all along the top. Rim of the bottle and this is repeated along the top of the original stopper. Further emphasizing the early spring motif. There are 2 small French hallmarks on the sides of the sterling silver top; I can make out one which is a helmeted head in profile. The top has a vermeil gold wash on the inside. On the top of the closure is a young maiden ... moreand a floral design. The bottom of the bottle is signed in gold enamel Daum Nancy( France) along with the Cross of Lorraine. There is a small amount of loss to the decorative gold gild on the bottle and the stopper. There are no cracks or other major damage. The silver top is tight on the bottle. The closure stays closed nicely. The stopper fits well and is not loose. The stopper has some small flakes along the edge as shown in the photo. The inner top edge of the bottle has some roughness. Please note the ruler in some photos for your size reference. The bottle is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall. Antique GUILLOCHE ENAMEL & STERLING STOPPER Glass Perfume Scent Cologne Bottle
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a very nice cut glass perfume bottle with yellow guilloche enamel stopper. The bottle has very nice cut edges but it was a made from a mold as I can see the mold marks up at the rim. You will see the mold marks at 3& 9 o'clock in one of the photos. There are no makers marks. The glass is in excellent condition with only a few pin prick sized nips to a couple of the edges. I could not get them to photograph and you will be hard pressed to find them. The stopper is stamped sterling and has a yellow guilloche top with a single rose in the center. Very pretty and the guilloche is all intact with no defects that I can see. The bottle is clean and the glass is clear. The bottom of the stopper has a large chip. Which you will see in the photos, ... morebut this does not affect the way it fits or the display. It is 3 3/4 inches tall and the base is 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 inches square. The end with the hinged top was actually for smelling salts. The other end with the stopper was for the perfume. The hinged cap is tight and works perfectly. It is initialed at the top. It has English hallmarks. One being the lion for Sterling. The two middle ones I can not make out. The end mark looks like the Queen. It also has makers initials JH. There are marking inside the lid but they are too small for me to see. The embossed end is screwed on. It does have one dent you can see in the photo. It also looks to have some kind of very light 1/2" seam line. Very unimportant and I almost didn't mention it because I only noticed it with magnification. The bottle still has the original ... moreglass stopper. The green faceted glass itself is in excellent condition. There are no real stretches or chips to the outside of the bottle. There are a few little chips to the inner rim of the cap side. The silver could use a little more polishing. Please check the photos carefully for all conditions and ask any questions.

This bottle is spectacuar! and in excellent condition! First thing I want to point out that it is marked sterling on the collar with a hallmark that looks a bet like a sword going thru the letter B. and numbers 8185. This is an antique jeweled bottle with faceted cut garnets that are bezel set in the metal. I do not know if the garnets are real or glass. the stones are all org. and the same color with no damage. the bottle is clear crystal with high cut ridges like a zipper design. The glass is clean clear healthy glass no residue. I really don't see any chips.but difficult to be exact with all the high cut edges. This is a chatelaine bottle and has a loop under the hinge. The hinge is in ... moreperfect working order and stays shut with a snap. The metal is dark and may also have a gold wash the inside looks like gold wash. the only thing to point out is it is missing the little glass stopper. If wanted.a stopper could be found on ebay to fit. there is a little roughness on the inside inner ridge where the stopper would fit.
