Here is a fantastic green glass perfume with silver overlay; it is antique. But has never yet been monogrammed; it is very pretty and free of any damage. It is one of three great little antique glass treasures listed. It has original stopper, which is also in fine condition. Total height is about 4" tall. Base is about 1' and widest belly about 2 1/2" Fabulous patina on silver, over top of the perfect shade of green; this bottle looks amazing in cabinet or on dresser for Valentines day. 999/1000 SILVER, BETTER THAN STERLING, OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE
This bottle measures approximately 2 and 3/4 inches in height. I found the silver marks after shooting the pics. It is marked on a bottom loop. 999/1000. It also has an indeciperable makers mark. Note that both the bottom of the stopper and the bottom of the perfume bottle are etched with a number. The stopper has chips on the edge of the polished end. There are three fairly decent sized chips or cracks compared to the size of the stopper, though they are on the bottom/edge of the stopper. A glass perfume/sent bottle with silver overlay. Rectangular form with cylindrical lid. Handmade sterling silver overlay and sterling silver lid. Not monogrammed. Minor dents.very minor) please see photos. Hallmarked to underside: Hecho En Mexico" 925" for sterling silver, and initials"M Z OI" for maker/manufacturer. Made sometime in 1950's. 1960's. This a gorgeous Antique Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver overlay. The silver is thick and design lovely. It has old Hallmarks 925/1000 and Mark is readable as produced in Atteboro. Massachusetts by Saart Brothers in about 1906. Patented. The bottle measures a Large approx. 5 1/2" Tall X 3 1/2 inches high. The stopper is FREE of Chips. however looks like the interior stem has some cracks. Inside there is some crusty debrie which needs to be cleaned out. No dings! Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle with Stopper, La Pierre??
Absolutely Beautiful Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay- Possible La Pierre? This came out of an estate and is a really beautiful piece. It stands approximately 4 inches high and is approximately 2 1/4 inches at the widest section of the bottle. I could not get a picture close and clear enough to show the makers mark. But at the bottom of the neck(the section which is above and just to the right of the engraving nameplate) there is a"L" in cursive with a small cross slashmark on the"L" and then the word"sterling" right next to the"L" This marking appears to match the marking I found for the silver smith La Pierre who started his business in Newark. NJ in the late 1880's. I am not a silversmith and if you have any questions or would need further information, please get in touch and I'll do my ... morebest to help. Also. I did not clean or polish this peice and there are two flaws that I did see. One is a small hairline crack radiating from the bottom of the neck outward and is about 1/2 inch long. When the front of the bottle is facing you, it is up on the left hand side, a bit to the rear so it's not very noticable. The other possible issue is on the top of the stopper, there may be a very tiny peice of the silver design missing. I'm not sure since I'm not familiar with design, but there is an end of one of the decorative sections that has uplifted off the bottle a little bit. Nothing may be missing and it may just need to be glued, but I'm just trying to explain any possible issues that I saw. Overall. This is a really beautiful peice. There was no engraving on the front plate, so I presume you could have it engraved if you wanted to personilize it for your collection or maybe as a special gift for that certain collector! Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a GREEN GLASS Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Overlay and Matching Stopper. The sterling overlay is in a nice Art Nouveau design. No missing sterling overlay to the glass bottle but there is a tiny split in the overlay on the stopper which may represent a small piece missing. It's hard to tell and I never even noticed it until I inspected it closely for selling. There are a couple very small cracks in the neck and one thin hairline in the glass bottle towards the bottom half. Again. Due to the silver overlay it is very hard to see but I did try to photgraph it for you. The bottle does hold water so the hairline is obviously not entirely through the glass and just on the inside as it is smooth on the outside. Estate sale find. In good vintage condition.Measures about 4 1/2" tall. I was told this was Sterling Silver. I can not find any markings. There is a 98 etched on the bottom of the stopper. I see a tiny flea bite on the stopper base when held in light. I did not feel it. There is 1906 and flowers in the design. It looks like maybe a monogram? Up for auction is an antique green glass perfume bottle with sterling silver overlay designs. There is no monogram. The stopper is approx. 1.5 inches long. The bottle stands approx. 2.5 inches without the stopper and 3.5 inches with it. On the back of the neck below the rim it is stamped Sterling. I can not find any other marks. There is one very tiny either flaw or chip on the bottom, I really can't tell if it is a flaw in the glass or tiny chip as it is very hard to notice. It is about the size of tiny grain of pepper. Beautiful and rare Alvin perfume bottle in deep green. Thick overlay of.999 FINE SILVER. This was an attic find just this morning in Bellefonte. Pa. This squat bottle measures a large 6.25" high and 5.5" wide. No damage except for two small, shallow chips to the underside of the stopper. Please see photos as part of my description. Very fancy monogram"FLC" So fancy it just looks like part of the overall design. This is a set of antique. 999, sterling silver overlay, art nouveau, perfume bottles. To our knowledge. They are Alvin Sterling Silver with the low numbers of 3104, fine. We're assuming they are rare. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamo uneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor. Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence. Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. The largest measures 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter with original stopper. The second to largest one that's very wide and flat measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" diameter with original stopper. The stopper is the one ... morethat's chipped. The top says"GB" in script. The bottom has the hallmark 3104 Fine with the A between two other markings. The stopper has the#53 on the end of the top and 52 on the bottle bottom. Gorgeous Steuben Glass& Alvin 999 Silver Overlay Deep Green Perfume Bottle 1900 This gorgeous glass and silver perfume bottle stands 2 1/8" tall and is 3" in diameter at its widest point. It features a deep green Steuben glass bottle with ornate art nouveau style 999 grade silver overlay by Alvin silversmiths. The silver has carnation flowers and buds with flowing leaves. Both the base rim and neck rim are sterling covered. The bottle has a round monogram area but it has never been engraved. The glass is etched"59" on the base and the silver is marked"G 8460 Patented 999/1000 Fine" and it has the Alvin hallmark. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. No loss of overlay and no deep scratches or breaks in the overlay. This listing is for an antique sterling silver overlay perfume bottle. It measures just a little over 3.5" tall and 2.5" at the widest point. The stopper also has the overlay. Part of the marking is worn off. But it looks like it says: Fine Silver 999 1000. Two of the nines and the F are worn off. The bottom of the bottle is etched with the number 167. The silver has light scratches, and the stopper has a few very tiny chips. Overall, nice condition.

THIS IS A LOVELY ANTIQUE MARKED 3110- 999/1000 FINE ALVIN STERLING SILVER OVERLAY VANITY PERFUME BOTTLE. WITH VINE AND IRIS PATTERN. INCLUDED IS THE MATCHED# STOPPER. Both are in very good, gently used condition. Both pieces are wrapped in an intricate vine and iris pattern overlay of delicate 999 Fine Alvin Sterling Silver. Both the bottle and the stopper are marked on the bottom of the glass with the number 799, and so are a matched set. The bottle has an oval area that is perfect for your monogram or cartouche. This bottle stands 2 1/8" tall without the stopper, and 3 1/4" tall with the stopper, by 2 7/8" across its widest. It still smells faintly of some long ago ladies fragrance. Beautiful Red overlay crystal scent bottle. With a silver foliate scrollwork embossed hinged crown shaped top with a silver collar and glass stopper. The crystal glass bottle itself is 3 inches tall, 1 3/4 inches from side to side and 1 3/8 inches front to back. The overall height of the bottle with cap is 4 inches. Beautiful and clean in and out. The metal work is in great shape with no visible scratches or gouges. The front of the red glass on left/top has a tiny dink in the red part of the glass. The same on the flip side at the tip of the left top glass. Barely noticeable, given its age. Firm hinge, not loose at all. Lip of glass where stopper goes is smooth and clean, no chips or dings. I did not polish the silver but the tarnish is not the heavy kind and it will polish up beautifull. The detail in the leaves and bamboo show up better without polish reflections anyway. Vintage Antique PINK ENAMEL SILVER OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE German?? No Dauber
Vintage Pink Enamel Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay. Approx. 2 3/8" tall and 2 1/2" wide. Looks like numbers in the bottom but I am not sure. Probably German with the Crown top being popular with alot of their perfume bottles. Circa 1930's to 1940's. There is no dauber. And there is some silver ware to the rim below the crown. The rest of the silver and face is very nice, you may see a reflection in a photo or two. The one pink spot by the base rim is a little bump natural to the piece. I included 5 photos you can enlarge. Up for auction is a mini silver overlay perfume bottle. The bottle measures 2.25” tall. It has a square body shape and is 7/8th square. It has a round screw on cap. The bottle is hallmarked on the bottom. The bottom has what appears to be a horse head hallmark and it is marked 925 heco en Mexico. NICE Older Art Glass Tiffany (?) Loetz (?) Perfume Bottle Vase w/silver overlay
Up for bid is a very pretty little art glass perfume bottle or petite vase. I'm unclear on which it may be in that if it is a perfume. It is without a stopper and, I would expect to see some inside wear where the stopper would've fit inside and I don't see that wear. I am guaranteeing this as art glass but I cannot and am not, guaranteeing its manufacturer. It certainly looks to be typical work of either Tiffany or Loetz but it is NOT signed or numbered. There is no clue on the piece that identifies its origin. The age is also indeterminate though there is some minor bottom base wear that suggests it is not a new piece. PLEASE… look at all photos and bid based on the knowledge you may have. Whatever it may. It's a striking little piece in its deep, rich iridescence- deep, vibrant green with hues of purplish burgundy and hints ... moreof deep blue depending on how the light hits it. It stands just under 4" tall, has a top opening diameter of 1.25" and a bottom base diameter of 1" The piece is adorned with silver overlay around the top rim and again applied florals and vines that run on the bulbous part of the piece. The glass is in great condition overall. For accuracy I mention a minute flake that sits right next to the end of the silver-plate application; in fact, I didn't see it when I bought it and only discovered it under magnification when I got it home. The other conditions to note is that there is missing overlay. I discovered that too, on getting it home- the piece was so dirty and required careful cleaning and I saw it after cleaning. You can actually see the outline of where the overlay had been(and could be done again) in the photos. As far as noticing it as it sits, you won't, but on close inspection, you'll see it. In other words if it sits on a shelf or in a curio, it isn't noticeable. And it can be turned around and it is unseen if you like. As Always ~ No Reserve! This is a beautiful antique clear glass perfume bottle featuring sterling silver overlay in a nice Art Nouveau design. The design is a delicate leaf and filigree pattern. Here for auction is a beautiful blue silver-overlay Murano glass perfume bottle. It is 5 1/2" high. 3 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. A label is affixed to the bottle reading: argento 925 G.O.N. which means silver 925 and? The flowery decorations typicall of the Art Nouveau movement that happened 1900-1940 and well executed by italian artisans. This piece has minor wear to the silver galvanized overlay with some minor glass abrasions. Atomizer top is missing. This is a beautiful artistically rendored piece that would fit in any collection of fine glass.

SUPERB ART NOUVEAU ALVIN 999 SILVER OVERLAY GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE IRIS DESIGN Presented is a beautiful silver and glass stoppered bottle by Alvin. This piece dates to the Art Nouveau period. And is done very much in that style. The bottle is covered entirely with a thick layer of silver, with none of the interior glass visible from the outside, unlike most silver overlay bottles. The silver is fantastically engraved with iris flower designs, done in a flowing, sinuous style. This iris motif is continued on the silver of the stopper as well. The leaves and stems of the irises form an oval cartouche on the side of the bottle, which has never been monogrammed. Use this bottle to hold whatever fine perfume or eau de toilet you like, or simply as a lovely display piece. This ... morepiece is in great condition. The overlay has no splits or problems of any sort. The glass is not visible from the outside. But looking inside, you can see there are no cracks or breaks. The stopper fits snugly.
