This is an antique late 1800's to early 1900's perfume/cologne/tonic/barber bottle with a metal dabber top. The glass is a beautiful textured and decorated artful piece. It measures 4-1/2" high by 1-1/2" X 2" wide and deep. It has a rose type embossed emblem on the bottom but doesn't have any names or numbers on it. Antique Perfume bottle possibly from France vintage 1930s deco piece. The Deco pattern in brass is quite pretty with prong leaf shapes that accent the Embroidered Flower Center which is overlaid with a plastic coating. The glass is a dark purple almost black. The Stopper is accented with a rhinestone. The dabber on the stopper is plastic and is whole. The Perfume bottle is unbroken. However I would like to note that two of the brass leaves on the back of the bottle have been broken off due to age[please see photos] The size of this lovely diminutive piece is 1 1/2"across x 1 3/4" high. Rose Perfume This is a very pretty vintage perfume bottle from Czechoslovakia made by Irving W. Rice. Commonly referred to as Irice. It is a clear faceted glass bottle with intaglio(reverse) cut stopper. The base is shaped like a 8-pointed star when viewed from the bottom. The slender neck holds a scalloped spade-shaped stopper with an ornate rose and leaf design. The stopper is in excellent condition, but the base of the bottle has chipping on 4 or 5 points of the star. The base is marked"Made in Czechoslovakia" in raised letters and still has the original foil label on the bottom. Twin Intaglio Cherubs greet each other as they stand on atop a rose blossom. The stopper is frosted and fits snugly into the bottle allowing it to retain the last precious drops of sweet perfume and condensation. Brass_ This piece is unique for the design of the glass which is made to simulate carved Malachite. The cap is original to the piece. It has its original glass dauber, and screws on and off securely. The detailed floral design is on the front and back of the bottle and the glass has a pretty combination of green colors. There is a small chip to the tip of one of the floral petals and there is a larger chip at the very bottom of the bottle(which you can see in one of the photos clearly) but both chips are noticeable only on close inspection. This is a nice atomizer perfume bottle by Gregor of Bavaria Germany. The porcelain bottle is decorated on opposite sides with two different transfer ware floral arrangements including a large red rose on one side and an orchid on the other plus gold trim. The brass atomizer has a plum colored bulb in working order. Including the atomizer the bottle is about 5" tall. I can find no information on the Gregor company. I see they made both porcelain and glass perfume bottles. Others offer them for $75 to $125 EACH. I suspect this company operated after WWII up to maybe 1973 when WEST Germany became the norm for labeling. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with. Antique Vintage Atomizer Perfume Bottle Rose Colored Glass Very Old Nice Cond.!
Up for bid is a very unique antique atomizer perfume bottle with rose colored glass and matching pump bulb. This bottle has a lot of character and would make a wonderful decoration or addition to any antique enthusiast's collection. The bulb on the bottle is in great condition with no cracks or rotting. The fabric surrounding it does have some separating due to wear over time. The atomizer does appear to still be functional. The top portion of the bottle does unscrew and come apart from the glass portion of the bottle. The perfume bottle stands 6 3/4" in overall length. The base diameter of the bottle measures 2 1/8" The glass portion alone measures 3 1/4" tall. The outside is a gold tone metal( brass) and it has an applied 3-D rose on the front. There is a diamond pattern etched into the metal on the front and back. The sides& bottom are smooth. Inside is a clear glass bottle for perfume and since you can't see if there are any cracks I have tested it with water which I left in overnight and there were no leaks. The bottle is very clean inside and out with only a few light surface scratches. No major damage anywhere that I can see. The bottle is 1 7/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches wide. It is 5/8 inch thick.
