Vintage/Antique Perfume Bottle Art Deco Style Clear and Frosted Glass
Up for auction with no reserve is a beautiful art deco style perfume bottle. Looks to be pressed glass because there is a seam around the side. Frosted bottom. Has some defects to the glass. Most notably a chip around the neck of the base- see pics. There is also a small raised line on the surface of the glass that comes down from the neck of the base onto the side but it looks more like a defect in pressing than a crack. Some small defects in the stopper. Still a very appealing piece. Measures approximately just over 9 inches from base to top of stopper. Stopper is 2.25 inches across and 6 inches in length. Up for auction is this lovely art deco vintage czechoslovakia czech glass frosted glass perfume bottle. This bottle is etched at the bottom made in czechoslovakia. It has frosted and clear glass. There is a lovely floral design at each side of the stopper and bottom. There are 2 very tiny fleabites at each top edge of the stopper which is not noticable and in my opinion doesnt take away from the piece. It measures approx 5" h x 3" w at the widest part at the bottom of the bottle. Don't pass this up this would make a great addition to any perfume bottle collection. This antique bottle is amazing. I think it's an antique perfume bottle but I have never seen another one like it. It's clearly very old. Probably turn of the century and it even has a cork stopper. The stopper itself is really stunning with frosted glass that looks like Lalique glass. It measures 4.5" tall and is in excellent condition! Antique FROSTED & CARNIVAL GLASS Perfume Bottle Atomizer FLORAL CZECH BOHEMIAN ?
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a Czech Perfume Bottle with Ribbon& Floral design. There is a lot of detail in this one little bottle. It has a frosted finish with hand painted designs plus a carnival glass type base. Really unusual and so pretty. The gold tone atomizer is brass I think and it is stamped with"Made In Czechoslovakia" There are some light scratches to the atomizer& collar as you will see in the photos. I also have a photo of the base showing a tool mark and perhaps a stress mark inside the glass. How do I know it is a tool mark& from manufacturing? ~ because it is underneath the carnival glass finish. This is very common in blown glass bottles and should not be considered a defect but is a unique characteristic of this type of glass. These ... morethings do not cause a structural problem and often are never even noticed. It would not have lasted this long if it was post manufacturing damage. The bulb is soft but I was going to put on a new one with tassel. However, the cord connector appears to be stuck in the atomizer and I did not want to force it off. The atomizer top screws on and off easily for filling or cleaning and the metal syphon tube is intact. I did not have time to give this bottle a thorough cleaning out so there is residue in the very bottom. The paintings are in excellent condition with very little loss as you will see in the photos. It is 5 1/2 inches tall and the base is 2 inches wide. Overall this is a very lovely example of the Czech style of design and painting. These two exquisite perfume bottles are Hoffman unsigned. I bought them from A high end antique shop in calif. over 35 years ago. I paid 800.00.apiece for each. They are unsigned but clearly Hoffman, Very rare both daubers are perfect A tiny bit of flaws not visible by human eye. Tiny ticks on bottom and middle roses and Pictures taken are with macro zoom cameras to show any condition issue. They measure aprox. 5 inches tall, from top to bottom,From top of dauber to end aprox. 4 1/2 in. long They are truly beautiful and in great condition for there age and having perfect daubers does make them a truly rare bottle, especially as a pair. Offering a vintage frosted and clear glass perfume bottle with it's original sticker. IT is 7 inches tall and 3 inches across the base. The sticker has Bohemia Glass Made in Czechoslovakia. The bottle is in excellent condition. It has frosted and clear glass. The stopper is beautifully etched with flowers. This is an 8 oz. bottle and it still has the original labels on the front and back. This bottle comes from my family’s estate and has been stored indoors in a smoke free home since its purchase in the early 20th century. VICTORIAN FROSTED TINY GLASS HAND HOLDING CLEAR PERFUME BOTTLE SALES SAMPLE
Description: This auction is for a tiny antique Victorian estate find of a glass hand holding a perfume bottle. Which I believe to be rare. I have been unable to find another like it, much less this size, but did run across a large decanter that did very well at auction in a video online that looks just like this. So I believe this could possibly be a salesman's sample. The glass hand measures approximately 1 7/8 inches tall, 6/8 by 4/8 inches wide at the base. I do not see a signature on it. The estate belonged to a gentleman who's mother. Leonora Hornblow, was a tobacco heiress& novelist. She was married to the Hollywood actor Wayne Morris, had a second marriage to Arthur Hornblow, who was a Hollywood producer. The glass hand is in good antique estate condition as follows; NO REPAIRS.
