Measurements: They measure about 2 3/4" wide and 3 3/8" long overall but the size rectangular piece of wood leg that would fit inside these is a maximum 1 11/16" wide. The max height of the leg part would be 2" tall but would need to be tapered I think to fit properly. Condition: Very good with original patina and dirt but no cracks. Chips or other damage. Antique Bronze Set of 4 Art Nouveau Furniture Feet/Legs
Interesting set of four bronze pieces that would act as the feet for a table(or other piece of furniture) leg. Not sure of a date of origin. But these appear to have some age on them. They're in good shape with minimal signs of wear and a nice patina. The feet measure approximately 4.5" tall, 1.75" deep, and 1.25" wide. The opening where a leg would be inserted is slightly less than an inch in diameter and there is a hole on the back for a screw to hold it in place. These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. Furniture/piano stool feet - Glass - cast iron - ball - Antique - Collectible
These four cast iron and glass ball feet came off a piano stool which was beyond repair. The feet are about 4” tall. With a 7/8” inside diameter opening, that tapers to about ½” at the bottom. The glass balls are full of tiny bubbles, have a horizontal casting seam in the middle, and a ½” diameter flattened spot on the bottom. This will cast them at approximately an 80 °( angle when flat on the floor. They are dirty and the gold paint is worn. Otherwise. They are in good, antique condition. The metal does show some rust patina but overall for their age and rarity they are awesome. Each set are secured to each other by a wire I will leave them as found and you can take them apart. The porcelain wheels are near perfect can find no chips cracks etc and the only problem with the metal feet is some surface rust. They could stand a good cleaning they have been stored in the garage for many years. These are very old they came from my grandmothers estate sale. Set of 4 ORIGINAL Cast Iron and Glass Ball& Claw Feet in AWESOME condition. Just the slightest amount of wear on the bottom of the glass balls where they were sllid along a floor for 100 years or so. The wear spots are IMPOSSIBLE to see when they are standing as they should on a table or other piece of furniture. Pix do not do them justice as it is nearly impossible to capture the bubbles. Streaks& swirls within the glass. One ball has a green streak inside that is incredible to look at. Iron"claw" feet are Eagle's Talons and appear to have once been gilded but they now have a nice mellow raw cast iron patina. Each weighs almost 2-1/2 pounds! These are NOT REPRODUCTIONS and are getting increasingly harder to find especially in this condition. Glass ball is approx 3" diameter(about the size of a baseball) individual ... morefingers are approx 3" long and the mount is 2-1/2" long with a 1-3/8" opening that tapers to approx 3/4" at the bottom. This is a pair of early bronze paw feet that would have been attached to a piece of furniture. These are approximately 4 inches tall from the bottom of the feet to the top. They are 2 5/8 inches across and 2 ½ inches deep. There are three holes on the top. They have been attached by rivets and a portion of the top piece is still present. The rivets are hand hammered. This is the base to an old stand. Probably a music stand. It is cast iron, natural" now with no paint on it. The stand has three legs, all of which end in some type of animal face(a cross between a snake and duck) There is a"carved" design around the center base. One of the castors is missing. There is only the bottom red present; the wheel that tightens the inserted top rod still turns. Measurements are approximately: from center pole to end of foot face = 9 1/4" straight, not curved) from one foot to next foot = 16" the rod = 23.5" the inside diameter of rod = about 5/8" Stand is heavy cast iron. I will unscrew rod from base to ship more compactly.

Here is a group or lot of 5 pieces which I think are cast iron or metal of some kind covered with either porcelain or some kind of ceramic. I believe these to be antique and actually I think they came out of a local bank. Furniture or pieces which has oak legs and then these would kind of protect the bottom of the legs in some way. These have rust, bare spots, dusty, and could be cleaned up a bit better. There are two which are 3 1/4 X 1 3/4 X 3 inches high. Bit of a chip around the top of one but plenty of wear on both. Then there are 3 that are more of square than rectangle. These are about 1 7/8 X 1 7/8 X 3 inches high. These have some bare spots and scratches and one of them looks like there was grinder or wire brush used on one side to get screw off must have had trouble getting it to let go. Glass has turned purple from the light. Early 1900's. 4 inch long. Tapered leg sleeve is a tad over 3/4 inch in diameter at the mouth. Better than average condition.
