Recently purchase in Holland and imported to our Atlanta antique furniture store. It is a hard to find piece! This globe is decorated with many wonderful and unique decorations. Although we feel the piece was made around 1960 the map and other decorations appear to be copies of much older works of art. There are also paintings inside the globe. On the rim, ... moreand on the stretcher base. The entire piece is made from walnut wood and is quite sturdy. The four legs sit on casters for easier moving. The top and bottom halves of the globe do spin like a normal globe would. The interior of the globe is fitted as a bar. It comes with a small ice bucket that has tongs inside. The rest of the area is fitted and shaped to house bottles and glasses. The interior space is about 18.5″ in diameter. Overall his antique globe bar is in very good condition. It has three spots where the paint has been worn/chipped and all three of these spots are shown in the photos. Otherwise the piece is in great condition. Sturdy and ready for everyday use. With this being such a unique and interesting piece I am sure it will not stick around long! This antique globe bar is a unique and wonderful piece! The base features two drawers with original handles. Two fluted and turned supporting columns, a platform base on bun feet and a backboard. The bevelled mirror has beautifully carved, fluted and turned columns at either side. Above the mirror is a stunningly carved pediment with a central medallion and floral swags. The table and mirror present as a great example of quality late 19th century French furniture in the Henri II style. Together. The piece measures 243cm high, 82cm wide and 41cm deep. The table top is 90cm high. Though clearly antique. There are no structural or major defects. It's in gorgeous antique condition. It is 31 inches at the widest point, 36 inches high, and the mirror is 8 inches wide. The depth of the large shelf is 8 inches deep, and the small shelves are 4 inches deep. It has its gorgeous original patina from the 1860s or‘70s. Lovely. Small three-tier what-not from my mother's estate. Unlike so many, this one is fairly small and narrow, and simply embellished, perfect for an entry hall or corner. All the shelves have beveled edges attached to nicely turned posts. It measures 32" tall to the top of the finials and is 20 1/4" at its widest point and 13 7/8" at its deepest point. It's 29" tall from the floor to the top shelf, then 10" between the first and second shelves and 14 7/8" between the second and bottom shelves. The old patina of the finish is great as well! There is some old varnish coming off of one shelf. And if it were mine, I would simply clean the old varnish with denatured alcohol. It is the condition you like to find them! No breaks or chips out of the wood and sturdy. It has a great bentwood design in the back, 4 shelves. All 4 posts are all rope turned top to bottom with beehive finials on each post. The sides are all rope turned as well. This is a large beautiful piece of antique Eastlake carved walnut. It measures 32 1/4" across at the widest point and 16" tall. I do not know what this was originally used for. It does have 2 screws with eyes to string a cord or wire between so it can be hung. It does not have any holes left from coat hooks being used on it but they could easily be added so it could be used for a hanging coat rack. The front is in what I consider to be very nice condition considering its age, it would look a little better with a coat of new finish. The back does show age and someone added metal brackets with screws to hold it together. This beautiful old piece would look great displayed in any room in the house. It is not from a pet/smoke free home and I have not cleaned/polished any of it. For sale is this Beautiful Antique Walnut Sugar Chest. The small dovetailed sides are just amazing. The height of this piece on the stand is 34 1/2 inches and the width is 24 1/2 inches. 18 1/2 inches deep. I do not know the exact age or maker, it was bought at an Antique Show in Maryland about 10 years ago. I could add 12 pictures but if you want more just message me. This is an original sugar chest, the high cost of sugar made it necessary for someone to have a chest to store the sugar in and lock. I do not have the key for this. Antique walnut what-not shelf. 5 shelves. 56" high. Widest shelf is 31" wide and 11" deep. It has been painted white. But there is a spot where it has not been painted on the bottom and you can see the real wood underneath. It is in good condition, but does have a couple of issues. There is a crack on the middle shelf and the cut out wood behind it. There is also a chipped spot on the outer edge of the top shelf. Even so it is still a beautiful antique piece. This piece will be unscrewed and partially disassembled to protected during shipping.
