The mirror would rather“float” ... morebetween the iron frame. It has two decorative hinge type connectors that would secure the mirror. I am not a very“handy” type person and I cannot get the mirror inside this frame. It seems too wide. But I know that is just because I do not know how to secure it. This mirror definitely goes with this frame, so it has to fit. I know a“handy” type person could get it secured. If you are"unhandy. like me, you get 2 cool separate pieces! The frame is a cast iron or wrought iron black metal piece in very good condition– no rust– very good condition. The metal has a twisted ribbon like look. I have yet to find any maker’s mark on this piece. But it could be that I do not know where to look. Due to the design– a maker’s mark could be hidden. The mirror has a thick rough or scalloped type beveled edge. I was going to say no chips. But on closer I think there may possibly be a chip in one of the scallops. Rather hard to tell due to the decorative cut at the edges of the mirror. Also. As you can see, the silver or mercury backing has worn off in several places. It is an old piece. Exact age unknown– I do not know if this is an older vintage piece– I assume collectors can tell by the mirror cut and the frame style- Size: The metal frame measures approx 12 3/4ths inches in length. The center cut-out measures approx 6 1/4 by 4 1/8th inches. The mirror measures approx 5 3/4ths by 3 5/8ths inches. It is approx 1/4 inch thick at the edges. Condition: The cast iron frame still looks very good. As you can see. The back of the mirror shows much wear. As stated above, the mirror has a thick rough beveled edge and it is difficult to tell, but there may be a chip on one of the scalloped edges. Rather hard to tell due to the decorative cut at the edges of the mirror. Well packaged. This rather unique old vintage or antique primitive mirror will weigh over 1 pound, but

Found at an estate auction, I am not sure of its age, but it is most likely early twentieth century. It appears to have the original finish. With minor blemishes, ... morebut is in sound condition. A partially visible horizontal top seam and a couple of vertical bottom seams are in need of some slight retouching or they could easily be left as is. There is no evidence of other repairs or breaks that I have noticed.but as can be seen in the photo, the back is covered with paper and I haven't tried to detach it. The mirror itself is in almost perfect shape. There are two heavy duty eyelet fittings on either side to hang it on the wall. Measurements are 15-1/2“width x 31-1/4“ high and it extends out 5” from the wall. The bottom shelf is 4-3/8" deep. While the other two shelves are 2-3/8" deep. The piece weighs 4 pounds 14 ounces. Up for auction is an antique wood mirror with gold trim. I was told the mirror is from the late 1800 to 1900. The back of the mirror has a wood covering. SIZE: 12 inches tall x 10 inches wide. Mirror area is 8 inches x 6.5 inches. CONDITION: Very good. There is a small hole at the top where once a hook was. It can easily be filled in with wood putty. The frame is very solid structually. Here is a early to mid 1800's solid oak mirror with beveled glass. For its age. It's in great shape. The mirror itself could use some attention but there are no cracks or scratches. The top left corner of the glass shows some deterioration. The mirror is still quite clear and vivid. The glass also has a couple of air bubbles in it. The frame is made of solid oak with nice joints on the top corners. The carving up top was all done by hand as is simple yet very elegant. The frame measures 20.5" wide x 17" tall(measured from the top of the design carving) The frame is approx 3/4" thick. It had a solid wood back that is nailed to the frame. This unusual Ladies Dressing table mirror measures 10” wide by 14” high and has had it’s beveled mirror replaced over the century and a quarter since it was made. Beside an almost microscopic crack 1/8” just under the amazing cast of Baucus at the top of the mirror this antique art is flawless. ASOLUTELY STUNNING AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! We are pleased to offer this antique. Solid, carved wood fireplace screen frame. The frame is masterfully carved. The designs are not glued pieces, they are carved into the frame. The frame has 7sections. The top, two side frame pieces, and the bottom frame piece. There are also two side attachements with a bottom cross piece. Additionally, there are 4 arched feet. The frame featues exceptionally ornate and intricately carved wood. The top of the frame has very detailed leave and acorn carved design. This"headpiece" has an ornate arched lower section which is incised in a diamond design. Inside the diamonds are notches which make up 4 petaled flowers. A faux twist rope pattern is carved on the border. This topper is one piece of wood and attaches to the side frames at the upper ... morecorners(see photo12) The side frames are also incised/carved with overlapping leaves as well as the diamond cross hatched pattern. They are connected to side columns with dowls(there are no nail or screw holes present) The side columns feature turned wood with a gorgeous. Flower accent. The side columns continue to the ornate feet of the screen. The feet extend the same in the front and the back. They feature carved wood leaves with a bottom, carved flower. The feet are connected with a cross frame piece that is carved in an egg and dart design. The frame is exquisite. It is all carved with only 4 overlay pieces. These pieces are located at each corner. They are carved shells and are a much lighter colored wood. I am not exactly certain as to the type of wood. It is finished in a medium to darker brown stain. The four shell overlays are a golden colored wood. The frame is in extremely nice condition with very few dings or scratches. It has been beautifully preserved. This very large and very ornate frame at one time housed a lovely tapestry but it is gone. It would make a fantastic standing room divider/dressing screen or an amazing mirror frame. Very tall console table and matching attached wall mirror is a beautiful and functional piece of genuine antique Henri II style French furniture dating to around 1890. The piece is of solid walnut construction. A lovely mellow timber, and would be an imposing feature in the entry foyer or hallway. We've not seen a piece such as this in a very long time! This gorgeous console table and mirror is a rare combination of some ornate features on a basically ... morestraight-line piece- beautiful to look at. And not over the top. The base features two drawers with original handles. Two fluted and turned supporting columns, a platform base on bun feet and a backboard. The bevelled mirror has beautifully carved, fluted and turned columns at either side. Above the mirror is a stunningly carved pediment with a central medallion and floral swags. The table and mirror present as a great example of quality late 19th century French furniture in the Henri II style. Together. The piece measures 243cm high, 82cm wide and 41cm deep. The table top is 90cm high. Though clearly antique. There are no structural or major defects. It's in gorgeous antique condition. There are some areas of very light star cracking to the silvering of the mirror, which interior decorators would just LOVE to bits. It shows age, but does not in any way detract from the beauty of the piece. As with all antique and vintage furniture, age-appropriate wear and character marks should be expected. But estimate it to be 50+ years old. The fabulous gilded frame is carved wood and gesso/plaster and retains nearly all of the gilding. With just a few very minor flecks missing. Between the double pedestals, is an impressive central cheval mirror with a large, shaped bevelled edge. Either side of the cheval mirror, atop the pedestals, is a swing mirror, which can remain flat like a triptych mirror, or swing to an angle for greater reflection. The doors and the drawer fronts are beautifully finished. With burr walnut panels, string inlay and satinwood inlays. The drawers retain their original highly decorative drop handles. Vintage Two-Tier Wall Shelf, Mirror Back, Light Mahogany, Antique, Carved Sides
This two-tier shelf is very pretty. Usually these are very dark wood. But this one is a light, natural mahogany that glows like honey. The back is a mirror to show off your collection. Both shelves have a long, routed plate holder in them- that tiny, narrow line that holds the bottom of a plate or saucer if that's what you want to stand on it. But no question, the show-stoppers here are the sides. They are ornately carved out in a sort of Chippendale pattern. Very hard to photograph from the front because of the mirror. So I have showed you lots of angled views so you can see the beautiful sides. The shelf is 22.5" long and 14.5" high. And it will protrude from the wall 5.5" There are hooks on the back at the top of both shelves so this is easy to hang. My customers want to know how high the space is between the shelves. ... moreSo they will know if it fits what they want to display. This measurement is 9" I would say you can display items up to 8" tall on the lower shelf. Each shelf is 5" at its deepest and the edge of each shelf is not straight. But curvy.
