If you've ever seen ... moreone of my globe auctions, I LOVE GLOBES and always have at least one at home. So, this was like the answer to my prayers, my two loves- booze and globes. Bad Carole! Well. I've probably drank all the alcohol one lifetime is allowed and I no longer entertain like I used to when I was younger. So, I figure that I'll let this one go to a new person who loves globes and/or bars. And this item will easily accommodate the lover of either or both! Originally I was going to have to take this apart to ship. So I show pictures of it coming apart. But I found a wonderful box that it can ship in so I've put it back together for shipping. The pictures do show that its very easily disassembled for storing between uses if you don't have enough room to display it always. In fact, I used no tools to take it apart or put it together, the metal square that holds the magnet arch was used as a screw driver as it felt brass and was strong and the perfect size. I also like the fact that the top and bottom are not permanently attached as that would seem like a formula for breakage as surely someone will walk into it and break the globe, the glasses or the liquor. Worse yet, that could break all three~! I also have pictures of some of the nicks on the piece. There are probably a few more. But they are all small and don't really deter from the beauty of this old world globe. It was made in Italy and the stamp on the underside clearly indicates that. Here's some measurements: size of the globe: diameter is 8" the outer ring is: 17" the height is: 22" there are small nob feet on the bottom. They are about 1" high the bottom shelf would be perfect to store additional glasses the inside is perfect to store liquor bottles and more glasses you can also use any of the spaces to store the ice and tools if needed

I dont know much about sheet music. I found this in a lot of paper I just purchased and it looked really interesting. It is called, Clement's Fatal Ride or The Wreck Of The Boston Globe Train. It is dated 1896. The music and words are by Chub Terry and E. Percival Coleman, and it was published by John Gillespie. It does have wear from age and has some water staining, but overall I would say it is still in good condition, in my opinion. The cartouche is as seen and I am unable to date this globe, with information- W& A.K. Johnston- Edinburch- A.J. Nystrom& Co. Chicago" I believe that it is probably turn of the century- maybe into the 20's. Those of you in the know can probably date it if you take a close look at Africa- which is pictured. If not, please ask for countries and I will answer you promptly. I understand that the globe would have hung in the classroom with the moon sitting on the teachers desk. The moon(VERY HEAVY) is a counterweight/counterbalance and when, at some distance from the globe, raised, keeps the globe in place where students and teacher alike may study it. Antique Tin Globe
This antique tin globe measures about 11.75 inches high and 6.75 inches in diameter. It has some small dimples and spots from rust and paint loss but nothing that would keep this from listing as in good condition. The rust is mostly on the rectangular piece that attaches to the base. I believe its from the 1930s. Making it pre-WWII. It lists the months. Seasons, astrological signs, time in am and pm, and boat and flight paths of famous explorers. The arm that holds the actual globe is tubular and hollow in the inside giving it a retro feel. This would make a great addition to a tin toy or globe collection. This is a vintage 1915-1925 hand painted glass ceiling light globe in wonderful condition. The exterior has been hand painted with a rural scen e. One side depicts a farm setting with house and barn with trees; the opposite sho ws a road curving through trees. The two scenes are separated by water with a likeness of a sail boat on the surface and hills in th e distant background. The glass itself is frosted over a co arse surface that reminds one of ice-chipped glass. The paint has no loss and the colors are rich and vibrant still. There is one thin fitter c hip that barely breaks the surface of the edge and would never show. The globe about 12"W X 6-6.5" H with a 10" fitter. Beautiful victorian flush mount cameo embossed glass globe or shade. Piece is in excellent used condition and is being sold as-is. There is some loss to the white paint or whatever was used to color the interior. Micheal's crafts sells a paint for this sort of thing. So you could recolor it as you wish. Aside from a little loss of color piece is in excellent shape. The globe measures 12 inches across at the widest. Piece will hang down about 5&1/2 inches from the fixture when mounted. Portion that actually mounts to the light is 9&3/4 inches across. This is the crucial measurement if your trying to fit it to an existing light. Overall piece is in excellent condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

This is an old original blue pleated lightning rod ball. It is in very good condition. There are no cracks or breaks. There is chipping to the collar ends which is very common with these old balls. The collar ends are shown in the pics. It has a nice shiny finish to the glass and is a nice bright blue. It measures 4 1/2" across at the widest point. It will be well packed and fully insured. RARE Antique World Globe with Clock Base Steam Punk Look 10" metal base WOW!!
I have looked all over the internet and in my travels and I have never seen another one of these antique world globes on a clock base. All is metal except for the globe itself. It would appear that the dial with the numbers on it rotate around the bottom part of the base that has major world cities listed maybe as international date lines? I am not sure. The clock is not working. But I am sure it could be fixed and the metal base shows sign of rust. I was going to get this fixed and painted, but time has run out. Now the new owner can decide what to do with it. The globe size is a Replogle 10" standard. With base and all it stands approx 16" tall and weighs almost 4 pounds. I am unsure of the age of the globe, it is pre world war 2, but not sure how much earlier. The globe has some wear and tear, please look at pics for details ... moreand ask questions. Lovely earley 1900's stepback file cabinet. Looks like a Globe wernicke or Macey or Yawman and Erbbe. Came from Rochester. 41 1/2 inches wide. 45 1/2 inches tall, 25 1/2 deep at base, top files are 16 1/2 inches deep. Brass hardawre. Waterfall cap. 4 seperate pieces that stack on top on each other.
