There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. This auction is for an electric lamp with a slag glass shade. The base is marked 831 on the underside. The base is cast iron with a finish over it. The other parts are not iron. Some wear and/or small chips to the finish. Measures 16 1/2" assembled. The shade itself is 6 1/2" tall and the opening is 7" across. Some rough areas and chips on the edges of the glass pieces but nothing that shows from the outside and no cracks, some scratches or scuffs on the outside, the metal hides any edge damage. Gorgeous all original slag bent glass lamp ornately designed with six caramel color bent glass panels in working condition from my Grandmother's estate. Antique Arts Crafts Art Glass Green Slag Mission Table Lamp Brass Iron Rivets
This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done. The lamp works, but it should be professionally tested before use) You will note a dent to the top cap and the shade attaches via a cast iron 4” shade holder. Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS OR REVERSE PAINTED BRONZE TABLE LAMP BASE WITH DOUBLE SOCKET
No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. There are a few small areas of finish loss but 99% of the original finish seems to be there. The shade from panel to panel is 17 1/2" and the shade weighs 7.10 pounds. Thank you for your interest! Although unmarked it is probably a Pittsburgh lamp. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. You are looking at an authentic original Bradley and Hubbard slag glass table lamp. These lamps were produced in the early 1900's. I do not know the exact production year of this lamp. Please check the photos to see the beautifully detailed“lace designs” at the base of each glass piece. There are 8 panels of beautiful flowing tan. Brown, and white slag glass. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Antique Polychrome Arts & Crafts Nouveau Table Lamp w/ Caramel Slag Glass Shade
This is a gorgeous antique polychrome arts and crafts style lamp with art nouveau inspired tendrilous floral pattern around the bottom of the shade and 8 boldly marbled caramel slag glass panels. The lamp base seems to be spelter with elegant floral and leaf patterns and a bronze colored finish with gold accents. There is a matching cap and large floral finial on top. The light cluster has are two working pull chain sockets. Both of which are newer replacements, and there is new wiring throughout. The overall condition is very good. There is some scuffing and worn spots on the polychrome finish and there are a few areas that were touched up. But they are not obvious. Antique green slag glass, the color striations are wonderful and all the glass is original and intact. The lamp even has its original green glass beaded fringe. Now there are some missing beads, but it displays wonderfully. The base is filigree iron with wood. The underside of the base looks like it has"510" stamped into it. The light has a pull chain which works well. The cord has an old fashioned outlet plug but newer wiring. Measures 20 1/2 inches high and 12 inches wide. It just needs a good home! This is a beautiful antique lamp. It has a domed slag glass 6 panel shade with a painted green spade or leaf decoration. The shade is signed Handle and patent number 979664. The base is solid and very heavy with a bronze finish or patina The ball finial may not be original because it does not screw flat against the heat cap that holds the shade The slag glass is in good condition with no damage There is a break in the copper foil where one panel attaches to the center bar and needs to be soldered. Also a break in the fine filligree at the end of the spade because of the break. I show a close up in my last photograph. The lamp measures about 24.5" high. Antique slag glass / leaded glass table lamp base LARGE cast iron complete
Up for bid is this early 1900's table lamp base. It is cast iron. Heavy and ornate. 23 inches tall without finial. Finish appears original and needs restored. Finial is not original. 3 1/8 shade fitter plus 1/8 inch lip. Sockets with pulls appear original but I do not know if they work but they work freely. There is no cord on the lamp. I cannot find a signature so maker is unknown to me but is very well made with detail. This is a great base for a restoration project. Offered to lower 48 states only. Thank you.

Antique Bent Slag Glass Gold Table Lamp Miller. B& H, Pittsburgh, Handel, Era Pleased to offer this magnificent antique six panel. Bent slag glass, large table lamp. This beautiful lamp was found at an upstate NY Estate. The glass is white with caramel color streaks. Gorgeous ornate detail to both the base and shade. The metal on the shade and base is non-magnetic and gilded with gold leaf. I do not find a Makers Mark on the lamp so I won't venture a guess as to the maker. This is a large lamp with wonderful craftsmanship. As noted in detail below. One glass panel has a crack CONDITION The shade frame is beautiful with just a few spots where the gold finish has worn- non-obvious places like inside edges. The base has only a couple spots of wear on the finish. Two of the spots at the top- pretty much out of sight- and one tiny one ... moreon the side(see pictures) The cord has been replaced(with another antique cloth cord) but the inner wiring looks to be original The sockets are marked"Arrow" and appear to be original to lamp One glass panel has a large crack. Glass stays in frame but. It is in three pieces. A antique lamp shop should be able to repair or replace(I will tape this crack for shipping) Lamp is working fine. Very nice lamp by Edward Miller. I do not know if the slag glass shade is original to the piece but the hardware fittings seem to fit perfectly. Base is marked and numbered#1161(style) Base has original patina. All other hardware appears to be original and is oxidized and will need to be cleaned or refinished. Nice project lamp! Shade is damaged in that two slag glass pieces are missing. Should be and easy repair for a stained glass artisan. The cream/brown colored slag glass is not super hard to find. The shade is adorned with roses. Bows, flowers and other designs. The base is cast spelter metal. Equally ornate. This lamp has been rewired with reproduction cloth cord. 18 guage black twisted pair. The original cloth cord was trashed. The original plug has been retained. I think this lamp is from the late 1930's or 1940's. Very good condition. One crack in the slag glass which is on the croen of the shade. I made a picture but it's really difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. The lamp stands 27 inches tall. Antique Table Lamp 1920's Slag Glass Amber Cream Ornate Metal Frame
For your consideration. This absolutely stunning slag glass antique lamp is circa 1920's and stands 24" tall to the top of the finial. The shade diameter at the bottom is 20.5" The lamp body is a very ornate metal with hand-painted color details on gold. The base is 8.25" in diameter. I'm sure this was rewired at some time in the past, as this is obviously not a 20's cord and plug. None of the slag glass is cracked or repaired. The inside surface of two panels(next to each other) have some dried residue like old adhesive on them. This is not visible from the outside when the light is on or off. I did successfully pick a piece of it off with my fingernail. So I'm sure it can be carefully removed. The pattern of the lamp shade frame is exquisitely detailed, and the glass has such a beautiful comforting glow. This ... moreis a two-bulb lamp. Each on its own pull chain. It is shown illuminated with 100- and a 60-watt bulbs in it. I could find no marking on this lamp anywhere. Total weight is just over 17 lbs. I have more pictures if needed. Antique 19th Cent Bronze Electric Slag & Red Glass Early Wilkenson Table Lamp
This is a Rare and unusual early Bronze Table Lamp. It has 8 Slag Glass Panels and 16 Red Pebbled Glass Border Accents. I have just learned that it was made by the Wilkenson Lamp Co. and is unmarked. Elmer Wilkinson born in Canada in 1860 started his lamp business in 1909 at 45 York St. Brooklyn. NY. with factory on 8th Ave. Wilkinson was able to bring a new level of high quality and workmanship to the lamp industry while boasting a full compliment of excellent lamps. The company enjoyed several years of high output and sales. The downturn in national economy forced the company into bankruptcy in 1915. The construction is unique in that the Glass is held in place by 3/4 inch wide strips of metal each secured with 4 tiny screws. Three of the Red Pebbled Glass accents have been replaced and the remaining 13 need cleaning. The Base is not weighted ... morebut very heavy bronze.
