Early 1900's R.H. Macy's & Co New York Brown/ White Stoneware Jug
For sale is a circa early 1900's R.H. MACY'S NEW YORK stoneware jug. The Jug is Brown on the top and White on the bottom. It measures approximately 101/2" in height and 7" in width. The pottery has a glaze finish. There are two small chips at the top portion of the jug opening as well as a small glaze line in the same area. there is also a 2/1/2" brown line which I cannot identify in the white part of the jug. There is also minor crazing throughout the pottery. Please ask questions that you may have. Please pay within 2 days of end of sale. Thanks for looking.

Nice old stoneware sugar jug Part of label still remains M.C. Moicest? Pure Granulated Sugar Jug Blue& White Stripe Measures approx 11.5" tall I cannot find any cracks or chips. I cleaned it a little but it still has some"barn grunge" on it. Please look closely at photos- it is a really nice piece of old stoneware.

For your consideration is a one gallon stoneware jug. Made by MACOMB STONEWARE of MACOMB, ILLINOIS. This company was incorporated in 1889 and exited until 1906; when it sold itself to become PLANT 3 of Western Stoneware of MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS. The debossed writing on the bottom says: MACOMB STONEWARE CO MACOMB ILL. The white glaze on this jug indicates that it was not manufactured before 1895 and it is possible that it could have been manufactured as late as 1906. This jug is of the common shape, meaning it does not have a shoulder. This jug was molded in a two piece mold. This jug is almost 8 5/8" tall and the bottom is approximately 7 5/8" in diameter. Vintage Stoneware Crock Jug - 2 Tone Brown/Tan & Off White
Vintage stoneware crock jug. The jug is a 2 tone brown/tan and off white. The jug is approximately 11" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter(measured on bottom) tape measure shown in photos as well. The jug is not perfect and does have some wear but just adds to the character of the piece. I tried to capture all main wear in the attached photos. There are some chips along bottom edge. An area of crazing on one side, a couple stoneware imperfections on one side in the brown area(doesn't look to be chips- looks to be be from when made) I have found no cracks. Otherwise, just some minor glazing flaws. Great zig-zag tree design on the front in a dark cobalt blue. Design is very well done. Nice smaller stoneware jug in very good primitive antique condition. 3 DAY AUCTION! This is for a lovely antique stoneware jug with diminuative proportions and a quaint decoration of cobalt and white lines applied to the wall of the jug. The size is attractive. Standing 9 inches tall with a 6 1/2 inch diameter. The jug is in very good condition. It does have a small, flat chip on the bottom rim which is barely visible, and there is some glaze imperfection on the bottom rim which I think is from manufacture. There are a few straw lines, but there are no other chips and no cracks. The unglazed shoulder is soiled, but that's pretty minor. Stoneware Three Gallon Transitional Shoulder Jug. Hand Decorated w/ White Glaze
For your consideration is a three gallon jug that was made after the manufactured converted the kiln(s) to fire stoneware items with white glaze. But still decorated the items by hand. Most manufacturers started using the white glaze and rubber stamps to apply writing, decorations and size during the middle and late 1890s, but some started using that technology as late as 1902. Yes, that is a 3, I know this by sitting this jug next to crocks and jugs that the gallonage is very legible. The writing is blue. The total height is 15 1/4" and from the table to the shoulder is 10 5/8" The bottom is 9 1/4" in diameter. There are 0 cracks, however on the shoulder are minor to insignificant chips on the shoulder. On the bottom edge, is one larger chip, also there are minor to insignificant chips. Vintage Stoneware Two Gallon White Shoulder Jug
For your consideration is a two gallon jug made of stoneware. I do not know the identity of the manufacturer. The top of the handmade and hand attached handle is slightly above the opening. Also the places where the top and bottom of the handle are attached are not straight with each other. The total height is approximately 13" From the surface it is sitting on to the shoulder is 8 3/8" and the bottom is 9" in diameter. There is a large and shallow chip on the spout. There are numerous manufacturing defects(the way the 2 was stamped, the attachment of the handle, the runny glaze with glaze skips, etc. This jug needs proper cleaning.

Old English L White Glazed Stoneware Globular Hunt Jug Mkd T & l Hollin
Old Large English Stoneware White Glazed Globular Hunt Jug. The jug has a glossy black top rim band. And a partially black colored handle. There are raised horizontal pottery lines on the black band. The white globular jug body has a hunt scene in relief that features- two horses, two men and dogs in a fox hunt chase. The scene background has a textured finish. The bottom part of the handle has a leaf shape. A nicely shaped band trims the bottom part of the scene. The interior is glossy. The base is impressed, T& l Hollin" I am not sure if the letters are correct- it is difficult to read. This may be a Staffordshire Jug. SIZE: 7 1/4 inches high x 8 inches wide from tip of spout to edge of handle. CONDITION: There are a few dark specks on the interior- there are a couple small. Glazed nicks on the sides of the spout- the top rim has ... morea couple small firing cracks- the outer rim on the bottom part of the base shows some wear and dark specks from display- the middle part of the base has a fine lined firing crack(only seen on the bottom) there are some very tiny dark specks on the exterior part of the jug. Vintage One Quart Stoneware Shoulder Jug with White Glaze
For your consideration is a shoulder jug with a capacity of one quart. The top of the curve of the handle is slightly above the opening. At the factory. The shoulder as glazed. I do not know what the silver colored sustance as it feels like the stoneware around it and it is not paint. The total height is 6 1/2" From the bottom to the shoulder is 4 3/8" and the bottom is slightly more than 4 12" in diameter. On the shoulder, is what appears to be a larger chip that has been glued back. Also, around the shoulder are smaller chips. Also, there are smaller chips around the bottom edge. Antique Rockingham Fox Hunt Blue and White Stoneware Ceramic Jug Pitcher Neat
Beautiful Blue& White Stoneware Jug This is a very attractive blue and white stoneware jug that resembles"The Fox Hunt" scenes. The handle of the jug is in the shape of a fox. One the front side is a man wearing a top hat and holding what looks like a whip in the darker blue on this side you can see dogs that appear to be running at the bottom. The back side appears to have men on horses as well as walking, the blue part at the bottom on this side appears to have a horn like piece as well as the head of fox. It also appears to be somewhat dated 1774-1934 however these numbers are a little hard to make out so they be different. The bottom of the piece is marked"Rockingham" this jug is very neat and different and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. I can not tell you the age of this jug. Looks to be about a 1 gallon container. This jug is in very good condition with no major cracks(some minor hairline cracks that cannot be felt with a finger near the bottom) or chipping. Details can be seen in the photos. It measures approximately 12 1/2” tall. 23" wide around the middle and 6 1/2" wide across the bottom. Appears to be marked“A6. The handle does have a hairline crack that could be a stress point when it was fired. The top edge of the mouth has a small flat sliver chip that is barely noticeable. Antique Whiskey Moonshine Stoneware Shoulder Shelf Jug Crock White
Antique Stoneware Jug. The base measures about 6.75" in diameter and the jug stands about 11.75" tall. There are a few chips on the shoulder as shown in photos 7 and 8. One is about 0.5" long and the other is about 1" long. There is also a drip of blue paint that goes about 1.5" below the shoulder in one spot.
