Up for bid is a Quattrino of Milan. Italy, struck during the reign of Charles II, when Italy was being ruled by Spain. The coin in the photos is the coin the winning bidder will receive. This coin. Though well struck, well preserved and with many fine details, bears no date. The bust portrait and the"Carolus II Rex" on the obverse indicates this is a coin of Charles II, who reigned from 1676 to 1700. These were struck in a hurry, with not much care, and it's not at all strange for the date to just not make it onto the blob of copper. This example is, in fact, one of the better of this type I've ever seen. Eklund(Italy) 221 I am not an expert so I will not presume to grade this copper coin. Except to say it is in circulated condition with some imperfections appertaining to the same. This coin is, IMMHO, a very good example ... moreof this coin type.
