Rare HUGE Antique Sevres Vion Baury French Paris Porcelain Man Figurine Figure
This is a beautiful rare large hand painted porcelain figure created in France circa 1870-90. He is very heavy weighted and a large size at 19 1/4 inches high by 7 inches wide. And weighs a whopping 11.12 lbs. The green anchor mark of the Vion& Baury factory has worn away, but is partially found on his lady mate listed in my separate listing. His face is very finely handpainted and he is walking in the meadow holding a baby goat as the momma goat looks up lovingly. This figure displays very well however the momma goat has one broken ear and the bottom of his scruff and the baby goat has one broken ear. There is a shallow chip on the back bottom base and the pink flowers are chipped on top. There is a tight hairline on the back of the figure near the bottom and also under the base. It is very tight and the figure feels very solid. Superb ... morefigure for the collector! He is a superb example for the collector and has a lady mate in the last picture that will be offered in a separate listing. If interested please take a look. RARE PAIR OF FRENCH JACOB PETIT PARIS PORCELAIN FIGURE PERFUME BOTTLE A rare pair of fine French Jacob Petit old Paris porcelain perfume bottles in the form of Asians Prince and Princess. France. 19th Century, approx. 1850 Both seating on pillows. Beautifuly handmade decorated. 18.5 cm. high each. The base is unsigned. But these exquisite antique porcelains are undoubtedly a work of the greatest French master JACOB PETIT. Fine antique condition. There are some small original cracks on the base, they are from origin during the coocking of the porcelain.

This is a gorgeous large German porcelain figural grouping mounted as a lamp. It is hand painted and has beautiful details! Created by the A.E. Muller factory of Germany. This grouping depicts a royal couple playing instruments together. The gentleman has lost his flute and one thumb and there is some chipping to the flowers on the base and a little to the porcelain flowers on the ormolu stems, I see no other damage. A large size, entire lamp measures just shy of 2 feet high. Finial on top is missing. The actual figure is 10 1/4 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide. Weight is about 1 pound and 11 ounces. Beautiful, soft colors with little gold painted buttons. He has a basket on his arm and a larger one on his back.these are ideal to use as holders for dried flowers or other ornamental objects. Condition: There is some damage to the porcelain's finish on the right side of his face. On his arm, and on the top of the basket on his back-this looks a little like crazing. This is what I believe to be an extremely rare miniature hand painted porcelain Victorian fairing from the mid to late 1800s. I have looked in my fairing collector's books and cannot find this model. It is extremely well detailed for a fairing and depicts a soldier sitting across the table from a couple with a dog at his feet. There appears to only be some wear to the gold gilt. No breaks or repairs. It is European and the caption as well. I believe the last word is"Attack" however I cannot make out the first word, if someone knows, please let me know. It is very small scale measuring just under 2 1/2 inches high by 2 5/8 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches deep. His one finger is half broken and she had a fan I believe in her hand that was broken off. Some of the lace decoration is missing and there are a few minor flake chips on the base. The Madonna figure has been very well modelled and decorated with her robes painted in pale colours, standing on a raised, glazed and gilded stand. Especially her hands are very delicate and quite amazingly they aren't broken or chipped. The bottom rim is again unglazed and painted in a dark blue. On the bottom is a painted number 8 mark. Pair Jacob Petit style spill vase figurines Description: This exquisite pair of French porcelain Jacob Petit style figurines with spill vases are both in excellent condition. They are dressed as pierrots in red striped tops with funny too long sleeves. Blue striped pants, gilt buttons, and orange shoes, leaning against a brown tree trunk spill vase on a grassy base. No markings found. Size: Height: 7.9 inch(20 cm) Width: 3.5 inch(9 cm) Depth: 4.3 inch(11.5 cm) Condition: In a superb antique condition. Wonderful antique c1900 Sevres quality porcelain and exquisitely modeled bisque figure of barefoot lovers with baskets of fruit and their faithful dog. Marked"Made in France" and"Genuine Biscuit" on bottom. On the back of the piece it is incised"D'Apres Boucher" for'after Francois Boucher. Beautifully hand-decorated with much attention to detail. Gold decoration is in excellent condition without any apparent wear.
