It has three small pull out drawers on the inside with the middle drawer having a lift up mirror and there are three larger drawers below the desk area. The inside of the desk also has a couple of cubby shelves. If you look below the second shelf you can see someone has cut a small hole to pass cords through. I could not find any markers markings but I am guessing from other items in the house of this estate sale it is Danish and probably from the 60's or 70’s. It is of smaller proportions making it ideal for a smaller room. The approx. measurements are: 3’ 6½” tall/ 2’ 11” across the front and is 1’ 5¼” wide. There are a couple of very small little marks or bumps but nothing major and overall it is in Very Good used condition. This Would Be A Very Stylish Addition To Any Home! It has cabriole legs that come down into a bottom shelf support and terminate in a detail toenail claw foot. The desk is 38 inches wide, 26 inches deep and 29.75 inches high. I could say. circa 1880's" but I wouldn't want to sell it short(it could be much older) It's made of solid wood, with flat head screws and square headed bolts. Top measures 42" wide by 31" deep. Dovetail. Tongue and groove, set cross beams under the entire length of the top. Estate sale find. Talked to the owner and it was used as a lectern at the University of Chicago until 1950. This is a lovely antique hinged desk/writing table with a wooden box pencil holder which was purchased from an estate. The desk measurements are as follows: 15” deep 14-3/4” wide 4-3/16” high The wooden pencil box measures 10-1/4” long 3” wide 1-1/4” high As far as I can tell the box has its original finish and is in excellent vintage condition. There is a small area on one of the edges side where about ½” finish has been lightly scraped but I imagine a little Old English would touch this up. The dovetails in each of the drawers also look hand cut. Overhanging top with molded edges. The exact age of this piece is unknown. While it has hand made details and old woods. It looks like it has a more recent finish and the back and possibly the bottoms of the drawers have been replaced with stained oak. Antique Tiger Oak 1-Drawer Desk/Table with Brass Pulls
This is a beautiful little tiger oak mission-style table I bought at a local estate sale last summer. It doesn't quite fit in the place I was hoping it would. And that is why I am offering it up for auction. It Measures 29" high x 29" wide x 21 1/2" deep. It is a sweet little table that had been in one family throughout its history according to the lady I bought it from. It does have its character flaws(which just adds to its charm! The dove-tailed drawer features the original brass(I think) pulls, but it is broken. The back of the drawer is completely gone and one side of it is cracked toward the back. It looks to me like it was dropped on a corner. The top is a solid piece of wood, and has a slight warp to it. The finish is in good condition, and there are a couple of small dings to the legs. Antique Lap Desk adapted to be an end table
This a very unusual antique lap desk. Or in a military context, a campaign desk from the first quarter of the ninteenth century. This piece is English in origin. A cabinet maker has cleverly created a frame and legs for the desk in the twentieth century to make it a small end table. The desk is decorated with inlaid brass strips and dots that are still intact. The overall condition of the desk is excellent, considering its age and the fact that it was constantly toted from place to place. The lock still works, but slight warping doesnot allow the top to fully meet the base. The top is 9 1/2" by 17 3/4" It stands 22" tall.

Edwardian Mahogany Writing Table with Drop Leaves England. First half of the 20th Century, Brass Mounted with lifting Architect-style writing surface Item# 120012QIP07B This is a beautiful antique writing table. Probably crafted in England of the Edwardian influence, though later than the period. The solid boards of mahogany have brilliant grains, the mid-most center of the table lifting to create an angled writing surface. The interior has an interesting mechanism design, using a button on the back of the table to depress a little wooden catch, allowing the table top to lift and remain propped until the button is depressed again. At the back, a small compartment can be opened when the top is in lifted position, revealing several compartments and an old glass inkwell. On either side, the mahogany leaves lift on brass hinges, lifted on mahogany ... morewings that swing outward. The front of the table has a little hand dovetailed drawer with original round ring hardware. The table rests over tapered legs terminating in spade feet of the Hepplewhite influence. This is a precious little decorative piece, bringing great visual interest to any study or office setting, also being an excellent side table in a formal sitting area as it is quite unique and versatile. In overall outstanding condition with only the most minor of blemishes, sturdy and strong for regular functional use, this is a great find for any interior decorator or anyone looking to improve the variety of a room in their home. Measurements: 40 5/8" wide when opened. 26 1/2" wide when closed. 22 1/2" deep x 29" high Condition Report: Visually Outstanding Condition Minor scratches. for auction a wonderful antique empire mahogany huge library table or partner's desk. it is 60 inches wide. 36 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it has a full length drawers on both sides but they are of course on opposite sides. this is just a great piece. the double pedestal is so well carved and the feet are magnificent. it also has great carved corners. i took these pictures about dark so they lack a good bit quality wise, but maybe you can ascertain the quality and beauty of this table. it could have been made by thomas day, i am not sure who the maker, but whoever it was, the table is great. the feet are just the best i have ever seen. as you can see, there is a carved bundle of leaves and other items that come over the top of the stretcher and rest there. great piece. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's ... moreexpense. i can help arrange shipping should that be beneficial to anyone. good luck. ps. i paid a bundle for it some time ago and am just trying to get the investment back. i just took a look at the pictures, they are a bit dark and i pulled it out of the basement as i have room in the house for it and proceeded to dust it off with liquid gold. i see that i forgot to dust the stretcher. anyway, a good cleaning would do it good.

New York City Circa 1920-40 Item# 130001OTY27 This is a French Louis XVI Style Antique Writing Table or Desk crafted in solid mahogany and mahogany veneers by Jacques Bodart. Inc. The desk retains the original photograph from when it was retailed by Jacques Bodart, Inc. during the first quarter of the 20th Century, noting this as#1681. It is a gorgeous piece, the original gilt highlighted tooled green leather preserved in remarkable condition, framed in well patinated molded mahogany over five drawers. The desk rests over four tapered and stop-fluted legs with square brass caps over each leg and terminating in plain brass capped feet. Jacques Bodart. This is a simply outstanding selection, only more so due to the fine patina and character developed throughout, perfect for home decorators and those passionate about original French designs. Measurements: 55 1/8" wide x 28 1/4" deep x 30" high; wings are 12 3/4" across when fully extended. 21 5/8" deep. Condition Report: Nice patinated and almost certainly original surface. Sunbleached on the front and sides, color well preserved in the back. Very minor dings and abrasions here and there throughout, including minor blemishes and stains to the leather top. No key.
