VTG Slag Glass Leaded Shade Iris & Leaves Found with Jefferson Lamp , Shade ONLY
This auction is the shade only. Vintage Beautiful Un Marked Stained Slag Glass Shade. This shade was found with the Jefferson Lamp Base I currently have listed. I was never quite sure it truly belonged with the base. I have listed each separately and this auction is for the shade only. It's a beautiful Iris with Leaves Pattern and all along the outer edge is bent slag glass. The shade is most likely repairable and I have tried to show all the problem areas very well. Please ask questions if there is doubt about condition! This rests on the 4 inch cap although the extra soldering that has been added to the shade makes it smaller than the lip of the cap. This is in as found condition and I always enjoyed the two paired together! Shade measures 15 1/2 inches across the bottom. I double box all glass and also use frog tape along seams. Very Old Tulip Shaped White Opalized Slag Glass Shade I have 2 of these shades listed if you need a matching pair The glass has a lumpy rippley texture on the inside and smooth on the out The glass has lots of character or age flaws This one has dark marks on the lumps on the inside of one of the panels Can't tell if it's in the glass or on the glass The only cleaning we did was with a little soap and water The band covering the seams looks to be copper with nice patina They have a rich warm glow when lit and the texture of the glass shows really well Standard 2 1/4" fitter 6 1/2" high

3 Arts & Crafts Slag Leaded Panel Glass Lamp Shades - NO RESV - Bradley Hubbard
Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there is some damage to the filigree. I posted nice, large pictures of all the shades. i have for auction this supercool signed b and h wall mount sconce. where do i find these great things? its like magic isnt it. it is in mint condition. no broken or missing tabs. No cracked, broken, or missing glass-glass all original, no broken, cracked, or missing filligree or metalware, no metalware seam separation. all that and it has a great, not frogskin but same green color, patina. it even has its original socket which i assume to be harvey hubbell as b and h used them alot. its wall mount hanging height would be 12 and 1/2 inches. if you chose to hang this from a ceiling, the total drop height would be 16 and 1/2 inches. folks it doesnt get any better than this other than i am selling it without reserve to the highest ebay bidder. please check out my other ebay lighting auctions as i have some really great stuff up for sale this ... moretime around. thanks for looking. bidders please remember that i am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. chances are if there arent any. This is a very interesting Original Leaded Glass Signed Miller Boudoir Lamp. This wonderful little lamp has great Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls. The shad is quite unique is is leaded on the outside but not inside how this was done I have no clue!It has great old glass with large factory bubbles and swirl lines and it is very beautiful. The lamps base has a green finish there are areas of finish loss but over all most all of the finish is there. The cord is not original it was changed at some point to a newer wiring but the lamp is an older Miller lamp. The lamp stands about 16" to top finial the shade is 5 1/2" tall it is 12" wide and the lamp weighs about 6.11 pounds. I see no damage on this lamp just small signs of years of normal wear. Lamb Brothers Leaded Glass Lamp Arts Crafts Nouveau Handel BH Era
This is an auction for a very nice Lamb Brothers Leaded glass lamp from the 20's or 30's. It is from a local estate and had been in the family since new. The shade has caramel or off white panels and the floiage is made up of darker panels of caramel and light green. The foliage decoration at the bottom of the shade repeats on 4 sides. I consider this one of their better shades. It is not marked. But is definitely Lamb. The lamp is in working condition and is completely original except for the vintage Arrow pulls and a recent rewire with cloth cord. It is ready to go in your home right now. I have tried to picture all issues with the lamp, and none of them detract very much from its overall beauty, but they need to be mentioned. I have pictured several panels that have cracks. There appear to be 11 total. 10 have the cracking in the ... moreglass in the lower foliage areas of the shade and one appears to be an old heat crack in the top row which is pretty typical of older lamps. The cracks at the base of the shade are all stable with no glass missing and are on two sides 180 degrees from each other. The other 2 foliage areas have no cracks. Probably it was placed on the points at one time which caused this. Again, the lamp is very presentable in light of these, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware. The base has not been cleaned, and has a couple of small spots near the plug wire entrance that would be normal wear. The shade measures 18" plus across and the lamp stands approx. 22" tall. The stock market up, and consumer confidence up as well, i thought i would list some of my better lamps that i have been holding on to for the past couple of years. this is one of them. i will be auctioning off some much better than average lighting this time around so please check out my other lighting auctions as well. that said. Vintage Large Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. The overall height of the lamp is 29 inches. The base is 9 inches wide. The globe is 19 inches wide and 11 inches high. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Which sits on the top of the glass shade has been broken. The replacement parts are available for this type lamp under $50.00 The coloring is really nice. This is a very pretty little lamp shade. It is leaded slag glass. It measures 3 3/4" tall all together. The black piece with the hole in the center is about 1 1/2" tall. The shade measures 6" across the bottom opening and about 1 1/2" across the small top opening. There is a metal tag on the underside of the shade that says QUOIZEL COLLECTABLES. UNIQUE Art Deco Nouveau Gothic Figural Sphinx Lion Leaded Slag Glass Lamp Light
Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. I couldn't find any makers mark, the only signature I could find was the"Leviton" which is the company that makes the wiring. I have looked all over. Antique Handel Style Leaded Glass Ceiling Tulip Lamp with Fixture
This Handel style leaded glass tulip ceiling lamp with brass fixture came from my Grandmother's house where it hung over their dining room table for over 80 years. I had the lamp and the brass fixture appraised by valuemystuff.com. They estimated the lamp to be from around 1910-1920 and the fixture about the same. The lamp was appraised at $200-$300 and the fixture at $80-$120. Appraisal certificates are available if interested. The wire is original and needs replacing. There are no defects in the lamp. But the brass fixture has 2 small dents in the base and the brass needs polishing. The lamp is 7" high and has a diameter of 7" and the base opening is 2 1/4" The ceiling fixture is brass, 4' long with 4 1/2" diameter base. The socket and switch are in good condition and worked prior to being removed from house.

Antique Table lamp made from brass. Lead and blue glass. It has two light sources, one in the standard position and one in the base. Works fine but one-piece of glass is missing. Galway Irish Leaded Glass Crystal Hurricane Lamp
Absolutely beautiful is about the only thing you can saw about this hurrican lamp. It is a Galway Irish leaded crystal two piece lamp that is 9 and 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across at the widest. Beautiful patterns of diamonds. Rays, leaves and scallops. Here's the good part, there is no wear on the bottom and no cracks or obvious chips. There is one very small flake on the bottom rim of the top which, of course, is covered when placed on the base. It is heavy so shipping will be $12.00. HANDEL, TIFFANY, DUFFNER, PRE 1920S LEADED LAMP
Up for auction is this very pretty leaded all original slag glass lamp. It has a great arts and crafts look to it and I am selling it with a modest reserve. The base measures 22 inches tall and the shade is 18 inches wide. T he lamp needs no excuses folks as it's right as rain. The base is in original condition with a brass patina and is without dents. Dings, or breaks and has been recently rewired. B oth sockets are working nicely as well. The heat cap and finial may not have always been with this lamp but who knows. The shade s leading is all tight and right and without any loose pieces of glass but as any period shade. It rattles nicely. I see two very tight small stress cracks in the glass that I had to look very hard to find and this is remarkable for a shade that is nearly 100 years old. I am not sure if it has ever been repaired ... morebut it app ears to be all original glass but leading may have been repaire d over the ye ar s. T his lamp was very well taken care of by its previous owner and was most likely made by Whaley Lamp Co. or Handel lamp compan y. UNIQUE LEADED GLASS LAMP; GREEN-BROWN PATINA; HANDEL DUFFNER WHALEY ERA
For sale is a classic Unique Company leaded glass lamp. This exact lamp base with the Saturn socket cluster(photos 3-4) and patina is shown in Paul Crists's book"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 47. As you can see in photos 3-7. This base exhibits Unique's varigated green-brown patina. According to Paul Crist, in"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 48, The most attractive examples[of this base] are in a varigrated green-brown patina over copper plate which is virtually identical to Tiffany's famous finish- an achievement that speaks to the experience and professionalism of Unique's manufactory. Photos 3 and 7 are the best representation of the actual color of this lamp base. This Unique lamp base stands 23 inches tall. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter and has Unique's classic counterweight. The base has three ... moresockets with matching 8.5 inch long acorn pulls. Two of the sockets are the early Hubbell sockets with the raised letters"HUBBELL" on the socket shell. These sockets have their original porcelain inserts(photo 6) and mica insulators. At some time in the distant past. The third socket was replaced and the socket shell patinated green and black. I cannot tell the manufacturer of the socket shell as there is a lot of coating on the outside. However. I did replace the interior of that socket with a next generation Hubbell porcelain. All three sockets click crisply and function properly. The lamp has been completely rewired. You can have the old wiring if you want it. The electrical cord has been replaced with a black rayon(cloth) covered cord that is period appropriate. The lamp retains its original black Bakelite plug. see photo 11) The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 9 inches deep. It is unsigned but has has Unique's periwinkle pattern. Variations of the periwinkle shade are shown in Mosaic Shades II at p. 74. All of the glass in the shade is intact with no breaks or missing pieces. This belonged to my Mother. As a child growing up in the 1950's I remember this having a large Tiffany style shade about 20"24" in diameter on it. After she passed away lamp shade got separated from base accidentally and got sold. It has a Bryant Electric Company single pull switch that operates each lamp separately and simultaneously, it works fine. Very heavy lamp weighing almost 5 pounds. ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1950s PETER MARSH ROCK GLASS WROUGHT IRON TABLE HALL PORCH LAMP LIGHT. WELCOME TO MY AUCTION- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND STUDY PICTURES I have for auction a vintage original rock glass and wrought iron table lamp. Due to the style of the base could also be installed the other way up so would also make a nice hall or porch light, this dates from the 1950s and made by Peter Marsh, Birmingham although unsigned, not all were stamped. The light is made of wrought iron with coloured rocks of glass mounted in with thick lead. The lamp stands on a square base with 4 circular rubber feet, the light has an additional four holes to the base so could be hung the other way up. The light has a short wire which I have put a plug on to show it working, this will be removed. Due to age and safety of the light I would recommend getting is checked ... moreout by a qualified electrican. These lamps are becoming more desirable and harder to find. The base measures 11” in diameter by 7” tall and is marked, Dickens Ware, Weller 561. Painted in a standard glaze are two tulip flowers with long leaves. I have looked this art pottery lamp base over carefully, including under a blacklight and the high bidder will only find a few light scratches to the glaze and no restorations. Constructed from copper, not brass, the 5” diameter kerosene font is also perfect with a working wick adjuster. The wick should be replaced. The 14” diameter by 7” tall leaded antique glass shade has always been with this lamp and it is in perfect condition with no restorations. At first I thought that a couple of the lighter slag glass panels were replaced. But under a light you will see that every piece of glass is original to the shade with the same deep violet running through all the glass.
