The spoon body is 2"W x 2-3/4"H and shows a large central windmill, above 2 cows at a stream with a 3 planked bridge over the stream. Hallmarks include the Gothic letter"S" just to the right of the fisherman's head in the top medallion. The curved body of the letter"S" consists of 2 lines. On the main body of the spoon at about the 9 o'clock position( the left edge) is a rectangular cartouche with the words: Gebr-N- The tops and bottoms of the vertical legs of the letter"N" have curved lines, Gothic style. I believe it dates back between 1830 and 1850. The clock has a wonderful hand painted face featuring roses. It measures 13-5/8” long. By approximately 10” wide and 5” deep. The face does have a crack that runs from top to bottom which has been repaired from the back. It has a combination of metal works attached to wood plates. The hands look like they are heavy cut steel. The two weights that come with the clock look like cuckoo clock weights and I don’t know if they are original. The clock is missing its pendulum. Therefore the works are untested and the clock is being sold as found. They do look to be in good order. They also strike the hour on a gong. Superb and extremely rare Dutch longcase clock by Andries Vermeulen of Amsterdam with original barometer mounted in door and moon phase in the arch. The original wood carved and gilded figures are still on the clock and the clock movement was restored by Canterbury Clocks in Melbourne in the 1990's and has only been only lightly used since. The clock also features a working alarm. Date and seconds indicator dial plus original fretwork, all in excellent condition. This clock was purchased many years ago by my husband in Melbourne from the Dutch family whose forbears bought it new in 1724 from the maker's workshop. It is walnut veneered on oak. And the case is in good condition for its age. The original brass going and striking pendulum weights for the clock are present and the clock runs and keeps excellent time. Up for sale is a rare vintage/ antique circa late 1800s to early 1900s French Spelter Figural Dutch Girl Alarm Clock. The little Dutch Girl is using her umbrella to try and change/ set the time of the grandfather clock. The movement is unmarked as to the maker but I believe it to be made by DUVERDREY& BLOQUEL. The back of the case is stamped. Shown in the last pic- which is for the company FABRICATION FRANCAISE,PARIS and was designed by BAYRE& GUILLEMEN. The clock is gorgeous and is in Excellent Original Condition. The clock works and from what I can tell keeps decent time. The only minor thing to note is that the stem for setting the time is not secured on to the shaft/ it will not stay on if sat upside down- in its normal position- there is no problem. The clock has a stunning detailed Dutch scenery painted dial. And with a working moon phase. The Movement is weight driven and with one large cylinder weight to the drive the whole movement and striking to the bell A long brass pendulum attaches to the rear of the movement and swings within the clock with a beautiful tick sound and can be seen via the opening to the bottom of the tail ... moresection. The 2 small weights are for the alarm. The alarm is in the center of the beautiful solid brass hands and you can see me operate it via the movie link. Nice antique Dutch full mahony clock with brass elements in perfect working condition. Coming from an inheritance of my mother in law who has passed away recently. On top is the figure ATLAS. Figures on the clock are in roman, 2 very heavy brass weights. Inscription on top is NUFLCK-SYN SIN Bottom of pendule is a brass horse The measurements of this clock are: High: 67 cm Wide: 30 cm Depth: 18 cm This clock is very heavy and in mint condition for its age. This is a very unusual old Dutch clock with a fine brass movement and Heat shaped pendulum opening. There is a little turned brass headed nail on one side that you pull out and slide the bottom part of the case down to get a hold of the pendulum if you need to. That heart shaped hole has a brass flange around it that is different from any others I have seen. This wall hanging Dutch Staartklok clock Circa 1850 was found completely as you see it in original condition in a old store building having not been seen for more than 60 years. Upon purchasing. It has not been restored. A handsome redish brown sturdy handmade walnut or walnut colored oak case. With a shaped slide-down lower body, with the original carved gilded figures of Atlantis to the centre, between two trumpeting angels, which are missing their horn ends and have been repaired, ... moreto the cresting of the hood which houses the beautiful painted dial with a Dutch scene with, boats etc in the arch and brass four seasons painted spandrels on the corners of the dial. Original. Ornately cut brass hands to the centre, with Arabic and Roman numerals around the dial. Glass panels also to the sides of the hood, the door is mortised and tendoned with pegs, which also houses the 30 hour chain driven, turned posted movement with bell strike and alarm work, striking dully on a flat sounding bell that has a cast flaw of a hole in it which is what makes it sound dull. On the face of the shaped slender trunk are the weights with which to drive the clock movement and alarm. Also set with a cast brass bordered pendulum aperture, depicting a heart shape, with which to view the pendulum.
