The table on the top has plastic chemically resistant surface with metal sockets for metal rods to set up lab scaffolding 2. THE CHEMICAL LABORATORY- Complete with all the laboratory equipment. Almost never used, since new kept for 50 years in military storage just in case third World War goes ahead. The laboratory is complete- as issued 50 years ago- I have only removed the containers with chemicals. Remember that some thermometers contain mercury. Available for purchase is a remarkable piece- an A nti que(circa late 19th Century) Campaign Chest. It appears to be made of teak wood and it is t wo(2) stacked but separate pieces. Th e top drawe r ac tually folds down into a desk with a green leather inset. The desk has multiple compa rtments and drawe rs. Below this fold- out/down desk drawer there are three over two smaller draw ers complet ing the first(t op) piece. The second(bottom) pi ece is made of two larger dr awers- the same size as the desk drawer. Original fl ush brass milit ary handles and accents(corners) and brass c arrying handles o n its sides. I am not an expert. But I was told this is a navy cot used in the 50's or 60's. comes in a Vintage AMOSKEAG Seamless Extra Heavy cloth sack The frame is in good shape for its age. But the canvas is very worn and has lots of rips. It comes in a AMOSKEAG canvas bag as seen in pictures. It too has rips but they have been sewn by original owner. Since I wanted to keep the integrity of the original, I did nothing to restore this piece. I took lots of pics so you can see condition. No cracks. Splits or breaks in the wood. Canvas is complete and free of rips and tears, but does have light staining, either rust or blood. Missing one of the leather tie straps. All of the brass tac rivets are present. Very very well made, still quite usable and looks like it could hold 2-300 lbs easily. When open canvas is very taught. Open, item measures approx. 90 x 21 x 6"s. Metal surfaces have some paint loss. Really good condition for it's age and very little corrosion. This is a Vintage Folding Canvas and wood frame Army Cot made by The Telescope Folding Furniture Company of Granville. New York. The cot is in great condition with a small stain and minor fraying to stitching, see Picture) complete with original end pieces and no repairs to wood or metal, works well, I weigh about 180 and it held me fine. This cot measures 76" long, 24-1/2" wide, 17" high, folded it measures 8"x 5"x 37" and weighs about 15lbs.
