Prim bowl fillers *IRISH ST PATRICK'S SPRING TEDDY BEARS* set/6 penny rug
A PRIM IRISH WELCOME! This cute set of Irish bears are made from my own pattern. They are all hand stitched and I used all wool felts.The bears measure just a little over 4" tall. For the colors I used white. Kelly green and a mint green. The muzzles are made from tea stained warm and natural with black beads for the eyes and nose and I used black cotton thread to stitch the mouth. On the tummies of each I free hand cut a tiny shamrock and stitched it to the tummies. At the neck I used grosgrain ribbon for bows. They are firmly stuffed. You receive all 6 with this set. St Patrick's Day Rhinestone Dog Collar for Small to Medium Size Dog
For your bidding consideration I am listing a St Patty's Day Rhinestone Doggie Collar. I got it here on Ebay about a year ago but it is way too big for my dog. I believe it is a handmade collar and it is quite beautiful. The one fault I have with it is the way the holes were punched for the latch. They appear to have glue on them as you can see in the photograph, it is more noticable on the back of the collar. It comes with extra green and white stones should one be lost, but all stones are in place. It looks to be the size of a Radko Gem ornament, being 3 1/2 inches tall. It is highly detailed for a small ornament so it may not be a true Gem ornament. Very cute. Great detail, handpainted. Unusual Royal Albert Shamrock Teacup Vintage Irish St. Patrick's Day Tea Cup
Up for auction is this lovely Vintage Royal Albert Teacup and Saucer. This is in the Shamrock pattern with beautiful shamrocks sprinkled all around the teacup and saucer. In various shades of green. What is unusual is the lime green handle, rim and base on this sweet vintage teacup, with the matching trim on the saucer. Made in England. The teacup measures@2 3/4" tall(excluding the handle which makes it 3" tall) x 3 1/4" wide at the top. The saucer measures@5 1/2" across the top. Both the teacup and saucer are stamped"Royal Albert. Bone China, England, Shamrock" This is in good condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing, or paint loss. There are some"flea bites" which is common, a couple of spots on the edge of the saucer where it looks like some residue from the bone china exists(see photo) which I believe ... moremay have been done during manufacturing, and the usual manufacturer's imperfections. None of this adversely affects this marvelous vintage Royal Albert Teacup and Saucer. I don't think this set was ever used. Since this was displayed. Set of Four Vintage St. Patrick's Day Decorations 1950s Banner Honeycomb Die Cut
Here are some vintage St. Patrick's Day decorations. I believe they are from the 1950s but I am not a paper collector and just pick these items up when I find them because they are so cute. All of these are used so if you are looking for perfection this set is not for you. Still very usable and have a lot of life left in them. First is the honeycomb shamrock. The section on the right is damaged and needs to be repaired. In addition. Some of the glittery gold paper is curled up or missing. Some of it can be glued down. It says Erin Go Bragh. Measures 13 inches by 13 inches. Next is the Erin Go Bragh banner. The letters are cut out die cuts and the print of the letters is made to look like they are wooden logs. These were cut ot torn into two section so the Bragh is separated out. Can be taped or glued back together. Measures: 38 inches ... moreacross for the Erin Go and 24 inches across for the Bragh section. If it was all together would measure approx 62 inches wide. Letters are 4 5/8 inches tall. Last is the set of partying die cut leprechauns. The one on left is dancing and measures 8 inches wide by 15 inches tall. The one on the right holds two beers and measures 13 inches wide by 15 inches tall. There are some creases/folds and there is a hole/wear at the top from hanging. This auction is for the Shamrock Make Do only. The little rustic chair it is standing on is not included. This little make do will be mailed in a bubble envelope free of shipping charges! Welcome to my attic! I designed and hand made this primitive shamrock make do that is mounted on an old bobbin. The shamrock is made from a cotton print fabric. The little pocket is aged osnaburg and is hand stitched onto the larger shamrock. I put the entire piece through the prim process. Lots of baking. Sanding, and cinnamon to give it an old and worn look! The pocket is filled with sweet annie and gold pip berries. I added a rusty bell and an aged vintage-look St. Patrick's hang tag. A retablo is a traditional Latin American folk art devotional painting. And then often focus on Catholic iconography. This oil painting on tin features a male saint wearing a green cloak and hat, holding a black staff in one hand and a basket of flowers in the other. His staff has either a bell or a pouch affixed to it. The man has quite a content look on his face. He is surrounded by curtains and flowers, and by four panels of reverse-painted glass with vivid and brightly colored flowers against a shining gold background. I believe that this represents Saint Patrick, but this is open to interpretation. This really is a stunning piece of historically important art. ... moreThis retablo measures 15.5 inches tall by 11.5 inches across at the wides part. Where there are wings near the top of the frame. It measures 3/4 of an inch deep. The central painting is on a tin background, and the rectangular panels that surround it on four sides depict vivid, colorful flowers and gold which are reverse-painted on glass. The left panel of glass is cracked and a piece of it is missing. The top panel has a crack in the center but no glass is missing and this hairline fracture will not cause further damage. Aside from this, the retablo is in great condition for a piece of folk art that has spent many years on display. Demonstrating the classic look of the early wood engraving era applied to an allegorical representation of the feastday that has come to be most closely identified with the Irish culture! This great antique wood engraving. Titled" An Allegorical Representation of the Celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. was made in the early 1850s. This image. Created in the"allegorical" fashion popular in the middle of the Victorian Era, is a composite engraving, incorporating a variety of scenes all bound together by the overall theme of St. Patrick’s Day. It is truly a collage of pictorial elements. In the center of this engraving is a cross made of shamrocks. In the middle of which is ... morea small image of a mother holding her baby. To either side of this are two large scenes. One shows St. Patrick converting Ireland to Christianity, and the other involves a parallel image from the 19th century. However, this latter scene does not involve conversion to Christianity, but rather to abstinence from alcohol, as can be seen by the Temperance banner. And to the bottom of this engraving are several smaller scenes. These involve a quiet celebration at home and a cheerful dance. Bit also there is a scene of a street battle, with an Irishman taking off his coat and wielding overhead his shillelagh! It is the tiny details that make this such a fantastic image. Note. For example, that in the background of one of the smaller scenes, in tiny detail, are scaffolds by which several bodies are hung. These are so small that they are hard to make out with the naked eye. VINTAGE GREEN BUTTON USED TO MAKE A HATPIN HAPPY ST. PATRICK DAY
Absolutely stunning green deco button made into a hatpin by The Genuine Article Company. This hat pin is at least 25 years old since it was produced for sale in their retail store. It is 8 1/2 inches long. The button itself is an inch across. I would describe the button as deco style. Although, I am not an expert on buttons. It is not flat, it swoops up on one side. The other side of the top is ridged with little pieces of metal. The metal is all vintage filigree pieces from the late 1940's. The button itself is probably from the 1920's The piece of course comes with a clutch. It would make a nice gift for someone in the Red Hat Society. MINIMUM BID: $10.95 In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper. So they may have rubbed against each other and have very very tiny nicks.
